Earlier this year, Shweta had shared that her debut production would be centered around a queer narrative, and now with Tillotama on board, the project takes on a new emotional depth and resonance. The duo will be seen working together for the first time in this unique film.
This cinematic venture comes on the heels of the success of Shweta's previous queer-themed production 'Cock, a play that has received widespread praise for its unflinching portrayal of identity and love. Encouraged by the overwhelming response, Shweta is now ready to expand her vision into the world of cinema.
Sharing her excitement about the collaboration, Shweta said, 'This film is very close to my heart — not just because it's my first as a producer, but because of what it stands for. Queer love stories deserve to be told with honesty, beauty, and nuance. Having Tillotama on board makes this even more special. She's not just a phenomenal actor, she's also someone I deeply admire and trust. We've been wanting to work together for a long time, and I can't think of a better project to begin this journey with.'
With this film, Shweta hopes to amplify underrepresented voices and bring forth a narrative that is both tender and transformative. More details about the film's title, cast, and release schedule will be announced soon.

Shweta Tiwari shares fitness secrets for a toned body at 44: 'I do Pilates, little weight training, nothing crazy or intense'

credit: instagram/@ Shweta Tiwari has been one of Indian television's most familiar faces for years. From powerful roles to her charming screen presence, she's won hearts across the country. But lately, it's not just her performances people are talking about — it's how amazing she looks and feels at 44. Whether she's goofing around with her daughter Palak or just showing up on Instagram looking effortlessly radiant, there's no denying she's in her element. So naturally, people want to know, what's her secret? The secret? In a fun, no-filter conversation on Bharti TV, Shweta sat down with Bharti Singh and Haarsh Limbachiyaa to talk about what's working for her these days when it comes to health and fitness and she kept it refreshingly real. 'I've just started doing Pilates it's been about two months,' she said. 'I also go for walks and do some light weight training. Nothing crazy or intense, I'm just easing into it again.' There was no talk of trendy workouts or overnight transformations. Just a calm, grounded approach to moving her body and getting back into a rhythm. Then the conversation shifted towards yoga. And then there it was, her take was hilariously relatable. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Highest Earning College Majors—2025 Edition Best Paying Degrees | Search Ads Learn More Undo 'I've tried it,' she said, laughing, 'but the second I close my eyes, my brain goes into overdrive. I start thinking about groceries, the laundry, and what errands I forgot. I just can't switch off!' It's moments like that real, honest, a little messy — that make her so easy to connect with. But while she may not be a fan of meditation and mindfulness on a mat, Shweta is incredibly disciplined about her food. Her dietician, Dr. Kinita Patel, shared with News18 back in 2021 how committed she is. 'Even during busy shoot days, she stuck to her plan. Every meal was sorted in advance. If she had to eat on camera, she'd call me first just to be sure it fit into her routine.' What really stands out about Shweta is that she's not chasing perfection — she's just being herself. She listens to her body, does what feels right, and doesn't stress about what doesn't. And honestly, that's probably the most powerful part of her glow. It's not just about looking good — it's about living well.

From Ahaan Panday To Jaya Bachchan: 5 Celebs Who Use Private Instagram Handles

Last Updated: Some Bollywood celebrities choose to maintain private Instagram accounts, or 'finstas,' to connect only with their close friends and family. In the age of social media, where celebrities constantly share glimpses of their lives with millions, some opt for a quieter corner of the Internet, a private Instagram account, or 'finsta". These secret profiles allow stars to connect with close friends and family, away from the spotlight. Unlike their public accounts, curated for fans and brand deals, finstas offer a rare peek into their unfiltered moments, personal interests and playful side. Curious? Here's a closer look. Ahaan Panday Ahaan Panday, the rising star and cousin of Ananya Panday, has made waves with his debut in Saiyaara, earning praise for his charismatic presence. His public Instagram showcases vintage-toned photos and sleek fashion, but there's speculation about a private finsta where he shares more personal content. Many family members, like Khushi Kapoor and Janhvi Kapoor, also follow this private Instagram handle. Ranbir Kapoor Ranbir Kapoor enjoys a massive fanbase and has long been rumoured to maintain a secret Instagram account. Reports suggest that he operates a private profile, with one exposed account featuring a username combining his and wife Alia Bhatt's birthdates, followed by close friends like Ayan Mukerji. Ranbir hinted in 2025 that he might make it public, but for now, it's likely a space for personal posts and private interactions. Jaya Bachchan Jaya Bachchan, a veteran actress and politician, is notably absent from public social media. Unlike her family members, Amitabh, Abhishek, and Aishwarya, who engage online, Jaya reportedly avoids public platforms. However, there's speculation she might maintain a private Instagram account to stay connected with close family. In a podcast with her granddaughter, Navya Naveli Nanda, Shweta Bachchan hinted at her private Instagram account. Shweta asked a question to her mom, 'Would you do without Instagram?" Jaya Bachchan replied with a simple 'Yes." To which Shweta further asked her, 'Well then, why are you on it," and teased, 'secretly." Navya interrupted and said, She is really not on it. Shweta then disclosed, 'She (Jaya ji) is on it; it's a good destresser." Navya revealed, 'She just looks at her family. She just follows us." Allu Arjun Allu Arjun, the Pushpa star and one of South India's most-followed actors with 28.36 million followers on his public Instagram, is rumoured to maintain a private account for closer connections. According to Sacnilk, his massive online presence is carefully curated for fans and brand endorsements. A private finsta would likely allow him to share unfiltered glimpses of his family life or downtime, offering a contrast to the high-energy, stylish posts that dominate his public feed. Saif Ali Khan Saif Ali Khan has openly admitted to having a private Instagram account under a pseudonym inspired by one of his movie characters. With his public account focused on professional updates, his finsta is likely a low-key space for sharing personal moments with family, including Kareena Kapoor and their children. Shweta Tiwari Recalls Ekta Kapoor Juggling 22 TV Shows, Shooting For 72 Hours: 'Soti Hi Nahi Thi'

Shweta Tiwari reveals Ekta Kapoor once juggled 22 shows at once and barely slept during Indian TV's wild early 2000s era. Back when Indian daily soaps ruled prime time and every living room echoed with dramatic background scores, there was one woman quietly running the entire showbiz circus behind the scenes — and never sleeping through it. Literally. Actor Shweta Tiwari, known for her lead role as Prerna in the iconic Kasautii Zindagii Kay, recently pulled back the curtain on just how intense the behind-the-scenes grind was in the early 2000s. And surprisingly, her biggest praise wasn't for her co-stars or her own performance — but for the powerhouse producer who juggled 22 shows at once: Ekta Kapoor. Speaking on a podcast with Bharti Singh, Shweta didn't hold back on sharing how insane those schedules were, both for the actors and the creators. She revealed that during one stretch, she and Ekta worked non-stop for 72 hours — no sleep, no breaks. 'Ekta soti hi nahi thi, she had 22 shows running at one time," Shweta said. 'People used to ask me, 'Aren't you tired?' and I would say, 'But Ekta is working too'." And it wasn't just about being on top of a hectic production slate. According to Shweta, Ekta Kapoor was deeply involved in the creative grind. She wasn't just making calls — she was crafting scenes in real time. 'Whenever I used to call Ekta, she would pick up the call in one ring," Shweta said. 'She used to explain the whole scene in detail." Shweta said she often looked to Ekta for performance inspiration. 'The way she used to explain the story, one would get goosebumps," she said. 'Whenever she used to say the lines, I felt she was performing better than I. So many times, I used to try to copy Ekta Kapoor's way of delivering lines. Her passion was something." Kasautii Zindagii Kay, one of Ekta's biggest hits, aired from 2001 to 2008 and starred Shweta as Prerna opposite Cezanne Khan's Anurag Basu. It turned into a cultural landmark thanks to its emotional rollercoaster of love, betrayal and unforgettable villains like Komolika. The show was so loved that it got a reboot in 2018.
