'The show had a large backdrop with multiple screens showing animated videos of Perry's 'mission,' which was to free butterflies to restore what was lost on her planet as a half human, half machine,' The Santa Barbara Independent explained, in a review of a recent 'Lifetimes Tour' show.
''Hot N Cold' was a standout, with the pop rock style of the song suiting itself perfectly to be played live with a band,' they added.

Rebecca Black
The 'Friday' songstress has branched out after finding ironic success with her tune that celebrated 'getting down' on the day in between Thursday and Saturday.
These days, she's a queer pop icon delivering jittery dance floor-ready jams like 'Sugar Water Cyanide' and 'TRUST!' both of which will have you bopping along in no time.

Katy Perry new music
On Sept. 20, 2024, Perry released her seventh studio album '143.'
The 11-track record is a glossy dance party that's designed to get listeners on their feet and largely succeeds. For our money, this is big, bold pop in a shiny package at its very best.
Earworms here include the Crystal Waters-sampling 'I'm His, He's Mine' (featuring Doechii), pulsing 'Crush' and replay-worthy 'Lifetimes.'

Donald Trump Flipped Out At Gayle King Following Report About CBS
Donald Trump on Monday lashed out at CBS Mornings co-host Gayle King in a post on his Truth Social platform, declaring that: 'Gayle King's career is over.' 'She should have stayed with her belief in TRUMP,' the president added. 'She never had the courage to do so. No talent, no ratings, no strength!!!' Trump's remarks came alongside a link to a New York Post article suggesting that King's future at CBS is 'murky' amid declining ratings and reported internal concerns over so-called 'woke' coverage. CBS has not commented on King's status. King has not responded to Trump's post. It remains unclear what Trump meant by her alleged prior 'belief' in him, given her longstanding criticism of the president. Trump's attack on King, though, comes just weeks after CBS announced the cancellation of The Late Show, whose host Stephen Colbert is an unrelenting critic of the president. The last episode will air in May 2026. The network cited financial pressures for the move. But it came after CBS agreed a controversial $16 million legal settlement with Trump and as its parent company Paramount sought approval from Trump's government to merge with Skydance Media. That has now been granted. Trump celebrated the nixing of Colbert's show and predicted that other late-night hosts, including Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon, will be axed as well.

AEW Full Gear 2025 is coming to the Prudential Center. Get tickets now
Vivid Seats is the New York Post's official ticketing partner. We may receive revenue from this partnership for sharing this content and/or when you make a purchase. Featured pricing is subject to change. A tradition is brewing in the Garden State. For the second consecutive fall — and third in four years (!) — AEW is coming to Newark's Prudential Center. On Saturday, Nov. 22, AEW Full Gear drops into the New Jersey Devils' home for a night of high-stakes professional wrestling. As of now, no fighters have been announced. At last year's Full Gear, Jon Moxley took down Orange Cassidy to maintain his AEW World Champion status that recently lost at July's All In Texas Death match at Arlington's Globe Life Field. Other major battles that went down in Newark this past November included Bobby Lashley coming out on top against Swerve Strickland by technical submission, Kyle Fletcher holding on in his match Will Ospreay and Daniel Garcia winning versus Jack Perry, which led to his AEW TNT Champion title. While we don't know who will be entering the ring this November, we do know the best way to witness the action is live. 'Being around wrestling and being a fan of wrestling my whole life, I know it's very important to keep a great relationship with the fans around New York and New Jersey, and we have such great fans in the area,' AEW CEO Tony Khan told The Post. 'Full Gear is one of the best events every year for AEW and the wrestling fans and I'm very excited to bring Full Gear back to the Prudential Center.' If you'd like to be there, tickets are available as of today. Fans 'Elites' can purchase tickets for AEW Full Gear 2025 at the Prudential Center on sites like Vivid Seats; the official on-sale is Monday, Aug. 25.
