Dave Portnoy slams Zach Bryan over Brianna Chickenfry lookalike romance

Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy is taking aim at country star Zach Bryan over his rumored romance with Samantha Leonard, claiming she looks strikingly similar to Bryan's ex-girlfriend and Portnoy's employee, Brianna 'Chickenfry' LaPaglia.
On Thursday's episode of The Unnamed Show, Portnoy, 48, expressed shock after seeing side-by-side photos of Leonard and LaPaglia. 'That is not Brianna. It's insane. How is that even possible?' he said, calling Bryan an 'absolute psychopath' for allegedly dating what he described as a 'Brianna 2.0 built in a lab.'
Bryan was first linked to Leonard last month when she posted photos from the Running of the Bulls in Spain, including one with the singer. Social media users have also pointed out the resemblance, calling it 'crazy' and 'scary,' with some comparing it to Kanye West dating Kim Kardashian lookalike Bianca Censori.
LaPaglia and Bryan dated from 2023 to 2024 before a messy split. She accused him of emotional abuse and claimed he offered her $12 million to sign an NDA, which she refused. The breakup reignited headlines last month after Bryan denied writing his song 'River Washed Hair' about her, calling her 'not sweet,' and sharing alleged text messages.
The tension escalated when LaPaglia revealed she searched 'how do I file a restraining order' after Bryan posted a video burning a Barstool Sports flag.
Bryan, who has yet to respond to her allegations, was previously married to Rose Madden and has dated Hannah Duncan and Deb Peifer.

Zach Cregger's Resident Evil film set for 2026 release with new story in Raccoon City

A new Resident Evil film is on the way from Barbarian and Weapons director Zach Cregger, bringing a fresh storyline to Capcom's long-running video game franchise. Scheduled for release on September 18 2026, the project will serve as a reboot while remaining faithful to the original games' lore. The Resident Evil series began in 1996 and became one of the most successful video game franchises in history. Its survival horror gameplay inspired multiple big-screen adaptations, most notably the Milla Jovovich-led films. Cregger's version will introduce an original plot set within Raccoon City, incorporating key elements from the games such as the Umbrella Corporation and the Raccoon City Police Department (RCPD). According to a leaked synopsis reported by Daniel RPK, the story centres on Bryan, a laid-back organ courier played by Austin Abrams. While travelling on a snowy mountain road to deliver an organ to Raccoon City General Hospital, Bryan hits a mysterious woman with his car. She survives, but events quickly escalate into a city-wide outbreak involving tentacle-based mutations and bio-engineered creatures. Abrams, known for roles in The Walking Dead, This is Us, Euphoria, and Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, previously worked with Cregger on Weapons. Speaking to Inverse, Cregger assured fans that the film will respect the established canon. 'This is not breaking the rules of the games. I am the biggest worshiper of the games, so I'm telling a story that is a love letter to the games and follows the rules of the games. It is obedient to the lore… it's just a different story.' The film was announced in January 2025, with Sony acquiring the rights in March after a competitive bidding process. Filming is expected to take place primarily in the Czech Republic.

Zach Bryan vows to never perform in Kansas City after renewed feud with Chiefs fans

Country star Zach Bryan has reignited his feud with Kansas City Chiefs fans, declaring he will 'never play in Kansas City' after a fresh round of NFL-season trash talk on social media. A devoted Philadelphia Eagles supporter, Bryan took to Twitter ahead of the 2025 NFL kickoff to poke fun at the Chiefs' failed attempt to win three consecutive Super Bowls. 'Where are all the three-peat people from last year,' he posted. The remark drew heated responses from Kansas City fans, prompting Bryan to double down: 'Please understand I will never play in Kansas City… I'll be about to finish my show and then get a taunting call if I play at that stadium.' The online spat escalated when one Chiefs fan demanded Bryan remove 'Fifth of May (Live from Kansas City)' from his 24 Live album. Bryan quickly replied, 'Done brother,' though the track remained available as of Sunday morning. Bryan continued to rib fans, writing, 'Bro all u have to do to piss off a Chiefs fan is play a fair game of football… Guys it's okay to talk trash… y'all are weird as hell.' Unlike previous celebrity-NFL dustups, this one ended without apologies or deleted posts. While Bryan insists he won't return to Kansas City, he hinted at a workaround for fans in the region: 'I miss you Bonner Springs… coming to play next year,' referencing the Kansas town just 30 minutes away.
