In a tweet, Jose The Assistant commented on the news and took credit for influencing the change.:
Komander is the reigning ROH World Television Champion. Hologram had been sidelined for a few months due to injury, but he returned in February. The duo have joined forces recently, and they have been feuding with La Faccion Ingobernable.

Former AEW World Champion Dealing With Legitimate Injury: Report
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. The injury bug has bitten another top star in All Elite Wrestling. A new report has confirmed that former AEW World Champion Swerve Strickland is currently working with a legitimate torn meniscus. The injury was acknowledged on this week's episode of AEW Dynamite. According to a new report from Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, the on-screen injury announcement is based on a real-life issue that Strickland has been dealing with for years. The news comes as Strickland is preparing for a championship match at the upcoming Forbidden Door pay-per-view. The Swerve Strickland Injury On the August 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, it was mentioned on commentary that AEW doctors had seen Swerve Strickland for a knee injury. The Fightful report has now confirmed that Strickland is working with a torn meniscus. The report also notes that this is not a new injury. He has reportedly had a tear in his meniscus since his time training at the WWE Performance Center in 2019. At that time, he rested the injury for four weeks and was able to return to television. It now appears that the grueling in-ring style of the high-flyer has aggravated the old injury. AEW sources also indicated that medical staff from the Jacksonville Jaguars, the NFL team also owned by AEW's Tony Khan, are helping him with his recovery. The report states that there is a possibility he could require surgery and time off in the near future. Top AEW Superstar Set To Take Leave Of Absence
Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Will Ospreay has confirmed he is dealing with a legitimate and serious neck injury. On the August 20th episode of AEW Dynamite, Ospreay made his first appearance since the All In pay-per-view to deliver an honest update on his health, confirming he will need surgery and that his Forbidden Door match this Sunday may be his last for some time. In an emotional in-ring promo segment with Tony Schiavone, Ospreay revealed the nature of the injury and accepted full responsibility for competing in his upcoming match. Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer has since confirmed that the injury is legitimate and not part of a storyline. The Will Ospreay Injury Ospreay told the live crowd in Glasgow, Scotland, that he has been struggling with neck issues for about ten months but has been keeping the pain to himself. After being taken to the emergency room following the attack at All In, an MRI revealed the severity of the damage. He announced that he has two herniated discs (C2 and C6) that are pushing into his spinal cord. He stated that doctors have told him the ailments are treatable, but the road to recovery will be long. Acknowledging his upcoming surgery, Ospreay made it clear he intends to compete this Sunday. "If he was going to have a scalpel open him up after the match, that he wanted to take a piece of Jon Moxley with him," he said. We're getting emotional too, bruv … Watch #AEWDynamite on TBS & HBO Max — All Elite Wrestling (@AEW) August 21, 2025 Because of the legitimate injury, Ospreay revealed that AEW has not medically cleared him to compete at the Forbidden Door pay-per-view. EAST RUTHERFORD, NEW JERSEY - AUGUST 03: Alex Shelley and Chris Sabin of the Tag Team Motor City Machine Guns enter the ring before the WWE Tables, Ladders and Chairs Tag Team Championship match during the WWE 2025 SummerSlam at MetLife Stadium on August 03, 2025 in East Rutherford, New Jersey More This stipulation means that AEW is not liable for what happens in the bout and that the outcome will not count in the official records. "Whatever happens at Forbidden Door is all his responsibility," Ospreay stated, accepting the risks involved in competing with such a serious injury. For more on WWE, head to Newsweek Sports. A Career of High-Impact Offense Neck injuries are among the most feared in professional wrestling. The news is especially concerning given Ospreay's breathtaking, high-impact in-ring style. Known as the "Aerial Assassin," his matches are a whirlwind of acrobatic, high-risk maneuvers that put immense strain on his neck and spine. For years, fans and critics have marveled at his ability to perform moves like the Stormbreaker and the OsCutter, while also worrying about the long-term physical toll. The storyline explanation for the injury is the brutal attack from the Death Riders faction at the All In: Texas pay-per-view last month. At that event, Claudio Castagnoli stomped Ospreay's head through a steel chair. That angle was used to write him off television and now serves as the justification for his real-life injury and his desire for revenge against Jon Moxley.
