
Egypt condemns terrorist attack on tourists in Kashmir
CAIRO – 23 April 2025: Egypt has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that targeted tourists in the Indian-controlled Kashmir region on Tuesday, leaving dozens of civilians killed and injured.
In a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs on Wednesday, Egypt extended heartfelt condolences to the government and people of India, as well as victims' families, wishing the wounded speedy recovery.
Egypt emphasized its full solidarity with India in the face of all forms of violence and terrorism that threaten the country's security and stability.

OPEN// Deputy FM lauds Egypt-Sudan relations
CAIRO, June 10 (MENA) – Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs, Emigration and Expatriates Abo Bakr Hefny Mahmoud praised the strong, historical relations between Egypt and Sudan. This came during his talks with Undersecretary of the Sudanese Ministry of Foreign Affairs Hussein Al-Amin Al-Fadil on the sidelines of his participation in the ministerial-level coordinators' meeting for the implementation of the outcomes of the Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation, held in Hunan Province, China, according to a press release on Tuesday. Mahmoud reaffirmed Egypt's full solidarity with sisterly Sudan, voicing support for Sudan's national institutions and their efforts to restore stability and peace. The deputy foreign minister also reaffirmed Egypt's firm stance on respecting the sovereignty, unity, and territorial integrity of Sudan.
