, who recently played the antagonist Virendra Pratap Singh in Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri, has wrapped up the show and is now spending quality time with his two-year-old daughter, Namah.
'My journey as Virendra Pratap Singh has come to an end,' Sharma shared. 'Our last episode telecast was on August 3, and we wrapped up shoots on July 24. I will always cherish the memories and the relationships I made while filming on set. It was a creatively satisfying role, and the team had become like family.'
Prior to this, Sharma was part of Suman Indori, and transitioned to Rishto Se Bandhi Gauri soon after. 'I was previously shooting for Suman Indori, and after that show went off air, I was brought in for this one—both were produced by the same production house.
I feel fortunate to have had back-to-back opportunities.'
Now, with a short breather in his schedule, Sharma is making the most of family time. 'With some free time in hand, I try to spend more of it taking care of my daughter and celebrating our relationship. She's the centre of my world right now. I see her as a blessing from Mahadev, and that's why I named her Namah. She's brought a new kind of peace and purpose to my life.'

Khan Sir's Patna Raksha Bandhan: 15,000 sisters, colourful rakhis, and a 156-dish feast

Synopsis Khan Sir's Raksha Bandhan celebration in Patna drew over 15,000 students. Young women tied rakhis to their teacher, whom they see as an elder brother. The event took place at SK Memorial Hall. Khan Sir arranged a feast with 156 dishes and gifted each student a course. The celebration fostered a sense of community among students away from their families. Raksha Bandhan in Bihar's capital took on a grand, heartwarming twist this year when popular educator and YouTuber Khan Sir celebrated the festival with thousands of his students. Over 15,000 young women, many far from their own brothers and families, came together to tie rakhis to the teacher they affectionately call their elder brother. The scene — arms laden with bright threads, laughter echoing through the hall — quickly went viral, melting hearts across social media. For many participants, the day offered comfort and connection that distance from family often denies. Travelling from different corners of the country, they gathered at SK Memorial Hall not just for the ritual, but for the sense of belonging. 'It is my good fortune that my students tie rakhi. We have to protect our rich culture,' Khan Sir told PTI. He spoke of Raksha Bandhan as more than a yearly custom — calling it a thread of love, duty, and trust. Playfully, he added in a video clip, 'I am not able to raise my hand,' as hundreds of rakhis piled up on his wrists. To make sure no one left without a memory, Khan Sir organised an elaborate spread — 156 different dishes — for his 'sisters.' Each was also gifted a crash course worth ₹99, a symbolic token of appreciation. Between the teasing banter and shared meals, the event struck the perfect balance between joy and sentiment. His lighthearted quip, 'Now, how will we get up?' after the marathon rakhi-tying session, drew cheers and chuckles from the crowd. While many know Khan Sir for his viral lectures and down-to-earth teaching style, his annual Raksha Bandhan celebrations have become a tradition of their own. Year after year, he transforms the classroom into a cultural space where values and connections matter as much as lessons and exams. For students far from home, the occasion offers a reminder that family bonds can be built, not just born. This year's event, once again, left an imprint online — with admiration pouring in for his humility and the genuine affection between teacher and students.

Cardi B is facing backlash for calling her fans "fat as f--" during a livestream (Getty Images) Cardi B is no stranger to controversy, but her latest remarks about her own fanbase have sparked an online storm — and she's making it clear she's not backing down. The 'WAP' rapper recently called her supporters 'fat as f—' during a livestream, prompting accusations of fatphobia. But instead of walking it back, Cardi insists it was all in jest, even as the conversation coincides with renewed headlines linking her to NFL star Stefon Diggs . Cardi B's unapologetic stance on the fatphobia backlash The uproar began when Cardi, while promoting merchandise for her upcoming September album Am I the Drama, pointed out that the 3X-sized T-shirts sold out faster than smaller sizes. In her unfiltered style, she told viewers, 'So the box sets are completely sold out, especially because you fat f-cks—clearly you guys are fat as f-ck, no Chick-fil-A for y'all.' She added, 'Now, knowing that my fans is fat—I can't even make fun of fat people no more. Don't call me fatphobic, y'all, 'cause everybody make fun of my BBL.' After social media lit up with criticism, Cardi took to TikTok to clarify, saying, 'It was an innocent joke between me and my fans…it's not that serious. Especially when it comes to me, I make fun of everybody. I don't care if you fat, skinny, BBL down, got big feet, got small feet, whatever. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Become Fluent in Any Language Talkpal AI Undo As long as you don't stink, I don't give a damn.' She later doubled down, declaring, 'I'm not going to apologize because y'all are sensitive and wanna cry about some dumb sh-t. Every day y'all wanna cry about some dumb sh-t.' Where Stefon Diggs fits into the conversation While Cardi was busy defending her remarks, her name also resurfaced in gossip columns alongside Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs. The two were previously rumored to have crossed paths socially, and fans on social media wasted no time linking Diggs into the narrative, joking about whether he'd have something to say about Cardi's latest controversy. He noted that their gesture embodies the true spirit of mentorship and camaraderie, which transcends blood relations. 'Today, the number of rakhis tied to my wrist was more than 15,000. These rakhis are so heavy that I am not even able to raise my hand. Iss kalyug mein hum itne saubhagyashali hai (I am so fortunate to have such an experience in today's day and age). How do I even get up? This is so heavy," Khan Sir said in Hindi. His video raked in more than 8 million views on Instagram in less than 24 hours. Khan Sir expressed gratitude to his students for valuing him not only as a teacher but also as a brother figure who supports and guides them in their academic journey, regardless of religion or other differences. 'These girls set aside caste, religion, state, and other distinctions to tie rakhis on my wrist. This is a true reflection of humanity. There can be no festival greater than this (Raksha Bandhan)," he said.
