The IPO comprises a 100% fresh issue of 37.44 lakh equity shares, with no offer for sale component. Out of the total issue.
The issue is being led by Fast Track Finsec as the book-running lead manager, while Cameo Corporate Services is the registrar.Medistep Healthcare is a pharmaceutical and wellness products company. It manufactures and trades a range of items including sanitary pads (DryStep brand), energy powder (VitaStep Z), nutraceuticals, pharmaceuticals, and intimate and surgical products.The company claims to focus on affordable, quality-driven offerings tailored to essential healthcare and hygiene needs, and it plans to scale both manufacturing and trading verticals post-listing.
ADVERTISEMENT The company posted revenues of Rs 49.66 crore in FY25, a 27% YoY increase, with PAT at Rs 4.14 crore, up 25%.The company intends to use IPO proceeds to fund plant and machinery purchases, meet working capital needs (Rs 12.34 crore), and for general corporate purposes.

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: A fresh attempt to undermine Dr Haris Chirackal's credibility has emerged, with medical college authorities levelling new allegations based on questionable inspections of the urology department head's office while he was on leave. Thiruvananthapuram Medical College principal Dr P K Jabbar claimed to have uncovered a new purchase bill for equipment that had previously been reported missing from the urology department. The principal suggested that the equipment had been purchased recently after a probe committee had identified it as missing. Dr Haris countered these findings, clarifying that the newly discovered box contained two nephroscopes, not the moscilliscope flagged by the committee. A Kochi-based medical devices company had been consulted for repairs two months ago. The service engineer returned the equipment, as it was too costly to repair, along with a delivery challan dated August 2. According to Dr Haris, the principal mistakenly identified this delivery challan as a 'bill'. The situation was further complicated by the fact that the company's engineer had incorrectly labelled the returned nephroscopes as a 'moscilliscope' on the challan. Dr Haris emphasised that the moscilliscope was never lost and expressed concerns about his office being locked with a different lock during his absence. 'I was called by someone in a top position in the department to settle the issue and make compromises. But the press meet came soon after that,' Dr Haris said. The moscilliscope is used for prostate surgery, while a nephroscope is used for treating kidney stones and detecting tumours. The press meet was held on Friday even as Dr Haris has raised concerns about attempts to frame him. Both Dr Jabbar and superintendent Dr Sunil Kumar, who briefed the media, appeared to be receiving instructions from higher authorities over the phone, giving the impression that the entire situation was orchestrated. Dr Kumar openly acknowledged the pressure he faced amid the controversy.

Hockey field, RoB, osmosis plant: Pondy to get infra boost with Rs 200cr aid, Rs 4,950cr ADB Loan
PUDUCHERRY: Chief Minister N Rangasamy on Friday announced a major infrastructure development drive, with the centre providing a Rs 200 crore special assistance and a Rs 4,750 crore soft loan approved by Asian Development Bank (ADB). At a press conference with Public Works Department (PWD) Minister K Lakshminarayanan, he said that a detailed project report for 14 infrastructure works worth Rs 129.56 crore has been already approved by the centre. The projects are expected to begin shortly and will be completed by March 2026. Alongside this, projects worth Rs 5 crore from the state government's funds have been instructed to be completed. 'We are going to revise the projects for the remaining Rs 80 crore and send them back to the Central Government," he said. Approved projects include the completion of the long-pending road over bridge across the Uppanar canal, underground power cabling from JIPMER to Venkatanagar substation, installation of 50 community reverse osmosis plants, construction of bus shelters, laying of Astroturf hockey field and synthetic athletic track, and road improvements. New government buildings also feature in the plan. The larger ADB-funded initiative will focus on critical sectors including drinking water, sewerage, and roads. One of the key projects includes two desalination plants at Rs 1000 crores. As per the agreement between the Puducherry government and the Tamil Nadu government, a Rs 350 crore project has been planned to supply water to 140 kilometers by laying a pipeline from the Sathanur dam to Bahour and kirumampakkam lakes beneath Penniyar river. Apart from this, Rs 250 crore is allocated to build underground sewers, and Rs 189 crore for development of roads in Puducherry government departments. The portfolio will be allotted to the minister at any time, the CM said. A 100 MLD water treatment plant will also be built at Sankarabarani River to implement a 24x7 'drink from the tap' scheme. Two 50 MLD desalination plants will also be set up at Dubrayapet. Urban renewal projects will include expansion of the iconic Puducherry Promenade from the Old Port to Chunambar and Muthialpet. An elevated corridor between Marapalam and Ariyankuppam Junction has been planned to ease traffic congestion. Improvements to pedestrian infrastructure on Nehru Street, M.G. Road, and Mission Street, and construction of multilevel parking facilities at the Old Jail Complex and Grand Canal, are also on the anvil. The government plans to link commune headquarters like Bahour, Nettapakkam, and Mannadipet, Sedarapet and Kalapet, to the new National Highway from Kunimedu to Thiruvandarkoil to improve road connectivity. Villianur and Murungapakkam will be connected to the Villupuram–Nagapattinam bypass, with the widening of 50 km road and land acquistion.

Chandrababu to visit Paderu today
Amaravati: In sync with the International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples being observed under the aegis of the United Nations on Saturday, spotlighting this year's theme 'Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures'; the new coalition government in Andhra Pradesh has opened a new chapter for tribal welfare, including a slew of developmental projects and initiatives. In this context, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu is set to visit Paderu on Saturday. The state government is organising a major event in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district to commemorate it. The Chief Minister will begin his sojourn by visiting the Modakondamma temple, after which he will participate in local tribal traditional ceremonies. He will also visit the homes of some tribals to better understand their lives and challenges firsthand. Following this, he will hold discussions with coffee plantation growers and participate in a public meeting at Lagisapalle. Thereafter, the Chief Minister will lay the foundation stone for many a development projects and oversee the signing of MoUs for launch of tribal area projects. He is also scheduled to interact with party members. The state government is accelerating road construction projects to connect remote tribal areas with major hubs. Over the next five years, the state will spend Rs 2,404 crore to connect more than 2,075 tribal villages and habitations with new roads and bridges. A road corridor project in the Alluri Sitharama Raju district alone will cost Rs 41 crore. As for healthcare, the state government has allocated Rs 50 crore each for the construction of multi-specialty hospitals in Sitampeta, Parvathipuram, Rampachodavaram, KR Puram, and Srisailam ITDA areas. The Community Health Centre in ITDA Chintoor is being upgraded from a 50-bed to a 100-bed facility. The construction of a medical college in Paderu is also progressing rapidly. Under the Jal Jeevan Mission, the government has initiated projects worth Rs 2,373 crore to supply drinking water to 13,816 habitations in tribal areas. The goal is to complete these works by 2026. To enhance employment opportunities, study circles have been established in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati to help tribal youth prepare for competitive exams like the DSC. The government is also spending Rs 150 crore to convert over 520 residential school buildings into hostels. The coalition government has prioritised tribal welfare, allocating Rs 7,557 crore under the Scheduled Tribe Component for the fiscal year of 2024-25. It has so far provided 200 units of free electricity per month to 4.82 lakh tribal families and is working on a plan to install solar rooftop panels. Currently, the government spends Rs 1,595 crore annually on NTR Bharosa pensions for 3,77,051 tribal beneficiaries. Additionally, it has deposited Rs 642 crore into the accounts of mothers of 4,86,803 tribal students under the Thalliki Vandanam scheme. The government launched 'Mission-2047' to eradicate sickle cell anemia, providing a pension of Rs 10,000 per month to 1,487 identified patients. Efforts are underway to boost tribal farmers' income through natural farming and encourage the cultivation of alternative crops to replace cannabis cultivation.
