But fans have been hoping she could be set to release a new album in the coming weeks, noting that she has not gone a calendar year without dropping fresh tracks since 2016.
The Instagram Taylor Nation, run by her social team, also fueled speculation they're counting down using her albums, which fans believe could conclude at the beginning of August.
Now, an insider has claimed Taylor is definitely gearing up for her next chapter after more than 500 days.
"Taylor was in Los Angeles on Thursday filming a new music video," an insider exclusively told The U.S. Sun.

ALL LOVED UP Taylor Swift sparks rumors she's engaged to Travis Kelce with telling detail
"It was so top secret that those working on set were not even allowed to hear the song, only the beat.
"Even though she's been taking time off from touring and working a lot to spend time with Travis, there are still projects she's working on, which will no doubt please fans."
The U.S. Sun has reached out to Taylor's rep for comment.
Taylor's last release was The Tortured Poets Department, her eleventh studio album, which dropped on April 19, 2024, by Republic Records.

A second wrote on the site, "i need a new taylor swift album right now i'm so parched."
"I am so excited to see what this Taylor Swift countdown (or I guess count up?) leads to!!!" a third added.

Taylor's next era comes after she bought back the rights to her first six albums, including music videos, concert films, artwork, and unreleased songs.
This acquisition, reportedly costing $360 million, reportedly ended a long-standing battle for control of her master recordings when her former label, Big Machine Label Group, sold them to Scooter Braun's Ithaca Holdings.
She alleged the deal went through without offering her the chance to purchase them.
Scooter then sold the masters and all the rights to Taylor's tracks to Shamrock Holdings in 2020.

Taylor, 35, confirmed in a statement that she now owns her back catalog once more.
In a long letter, Taylor said, "All of the music I've ever made now belongs to me. All of my music videos. All the concert films.
"The album art and the photography. The unreleased songs. The memories. The magic and the madness. Every single era. My entire life's work.
MASTERS BATTLE
"To say this is my greatest dream come true is actually being pretty reserved about it.

"All I ever wanted was the opportunity to work hard enough to be able to one day purchase my music outright with no strings attached.
"No partnership, with full autonomy. I will be forever grateful to everyone at Shamrock Capital for being the first people to ever offer this to me."
In a post to Tumblr in June 2019, Taylor told fans that bosses refused to sell her masters to her unless she agreed to be locked into a new recording contract with them.
Taylor wrote, "For years I asked, pleaded for a chance to own my work. Instead I was given an opportunity to sign back up to Big Machine Records and 'earn' one album back at a time, one for every new one I turned in.

"I walked away because I knew once I signed that contract, Scott Borchetta would sell the label, thereby selling me and my future."
Taylor vowed to take on the system and announced she would re-record her first six albums; Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, and Reputation.
Her last re-release was 1989, but she now doesn't need to re-record her album Reputation.
During Taylor's work break, she has been spending quality time with her boyfriend Travis, 35.

He shared a series of photos this week of their summer adventures, giving fans a rare glimpse into their relationship.
Travis is now back in training camp with the Kansas City Chiefs ahead of the 2025 season.

She has just landed a role opposite her mum in the new horror-comedy, Horrified. The movie started shooting this summer, and Busy couldn't help sharing a clip from a scene her daughter filmed for the movie. Writing next to it, the proud mum said: "Apparently i've now completed the transformation into what is probably my truest form: STAGE MOTHER!. "Thank you to my dear friend @zarastoriez & @horrifiedmovie for helping me to achieve this eventuality." Busy is extremely proud of her daughter. On her last birthday, the actress posted a slew of photos of her girl, and wrote: "Happy 16th Birthday to my Bird. There is absolutely no one like you in the world, Birdie Leigh Silverstein. Speaking at the time on her podcast Busy Phillips Is Doing Her Best, the actress said: "It's been a really long time that Marc and I have been separated and our kids know, our families know, our friends know." 6 Busy shares Birdie with her ex-husband Marc Silverstein Credit: Getty Images - Getty Busy shared how the pair first separated back in February 2021 and had been thinking how to reveal their split to the public. The actress explained: "Marc and I talked about it, and when we first separated, we couldn't even think about putting one of those statements out — it made us sick, both of us, truly ill. It's a journey. "The surest way that Marc and I have been able to ensure the privacy of our kids that we love so f**king much was by not involving the public." Along with Birdie, Busy and Marc share another child, Cricket Pearl, 12. Busy added on her podcast: "We love each other- very much! And we have these beautiful kids together. And there are a lot of things that really work about our relationship." Busy previously opened up about her relationship with Marc in her 2018 memoir, This Will Only Hurt a Little. In it she revealed she reached out for support from another man as her marriage was on the rocks. Busy wrote: "There was a man I was friends with, another dad. We'd been having lunch and stuff. Texting. Talking on the phone a lot. "Honestly, I had a crush on him. I like him. Maybe I even loved him? He clearly liked me too." Busy also once told Parents magazine: "Marriage is always hard, but especially when you have kids … You're going to go through periods when you're not into it, but there always has to be one person willing to fight. "I went to Marc several times and said, 'I cannot do this anymore. Something has to change, and it's you...'"

I went on a spooky tour of Ireland inspired by Netflix's Wednesday with haunted castles and huge waterfalls
An ancient cemetery and haunted castle were high on the agenda — both of which feature heavily in the new series WICKED WEDNESDAY I went on a spooky tour of Ireland inspired by Netflix's Wednesday with haunted castles and huge waterfalls Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) WHEN I think of a holiday in Ireland I think, Guinness, Guinness and, yep, you guessed it, more Guinness. But my two-day mini-break to Wicklow, just 30 minutes south of Dublin, was anything but that. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 The enchanting Wicklow mountains in Ireland Credit: Getty 4 Grave expectations for Ortega as Wednesday Credit: JONATHAN HESSION/NETFLIX In fact, it opened my eyes to this region's idyllic and dramatic rolling countryside as well as its complex history, steeped in mythology and folklore. And if I needed any more reason to visit, Ireland is now being billed as the new home of Halloween thanks not just to its long-standing roots to the pagan festival but the hit Netflix series Wednesday. The Addams family spin-off moved its filming location from Romania to Ireland's County Wicklow last year. And viewers can now admire the region in the second series — the first part of which aired, appropriately enough, this Wednesday. With all this in mind, it's fair to say my itinerary was positively gloomy, in a good way. An ancient cemetery and haunted castle were high on the agenda — both of which feature heavily in the new series. Secret tunnel Charleville Castle in County Offaly in the Midland region of Ireland, is the new home of Nevermore School — where Wednesday is shipped off to by her parents. As I wandered the halls and grand rooms of the 1800s Gothic castle, it wasn't hard to see why Wednesday's legendary director, Tim Burton, fell in love with the building's dark charm and character. Despite it being a protected structure, he and Netflix were able to persuade the castle's heritage trust to get a master carpenter to painstakingly remove one of the giant windows at the back. It was replaced with sugar-glass panels in order to film a werewolf smashing through the window and into Nevermore's music room, sparking chaos and fear among the pupils. Martin Lewis warns about strict passport rule that could see you board your flight - only to get sent home on arrival Luckily for me, the werewolf was nowhere to be seen on my visit. Even luckier for the trust, and visitors, Netflix left its giant, nine-orbed chandelier in place hanging dramatically in the entrance hall. Almost like something out of Scooby Doo, the castle's library features a false bookcase which opens up to a secret tunnel. It was originally built to allow the Freemason owners to sneak guests in and out of their meetings undetected. Visitors, meanwhile, have to use the main door located at the foot of a jaw-dropping winding, open staircase which is said to have been the site of a tragic death. Trust member Bridget Vance explained to me how a young girl named Harriet, daughter of the 3rd Earl of Charleville, fell to her death from the fourth floor. 4 Joanna Lumley as Grandmama in Wednesday Credit: OWEN BEHAN/NETFLIX 4 The Sun's Jack Hardwick Credit: Syupplied She is said to haunt the castle walls and can be heard singing from the nursery. Bridget, who has lived in the property since 2013, says her young son once went missing — only for her to find him at the top of the stairs. He supposedly told her he was OK as 'the little girl held my hand'. If I wasn't spooked enough already, I sure would be at Powerscourt Estate an hour's drive away from Charleville Castle. Netflix bosses have used extensive areas of this 47-acre estate to help recreate the magical world of Nevermore. Tucked away in the Wicklow Valley, the Powerscourt waterfall — Ireland's highest at 121 metres — will be instantly recognisable to fans of the show as summer camp Jericho. Away from the Wednesday film locations, the heritage town of Trim in County Meath is also worth a visit — especially at Halloween Powerscourt House itself, with sprawling manicured gardens that would put Buckingham Palace to shame, also features in the hit series. The building and grounds serve as the home of Joanna Lumley's character Hester, who is Wednesday's Grandma. I'm told bosses splashed out on more than 30 assistant directors to try and stop members of the public from filming and leaking scenes after they were unable to close the grounds during filming. To their credit, next to nothing found its way online prior to release. Away from the Wednesday film locations, the heritage town of Trim in County Meath is also worth a visit — especially at Halloween. Trim hosts the four-day Púca festival, which focuses on Ireland's mythological traditions of the spirit world coming to life instead of the commercialised American trick-or-treat version we all know today. Over four days the town transforms into a Halloween mecca with music, comedy, fire displays and a parade celebrating creatures from Celtic mythology called shapeshifters, which come out the shadows to take over the area. Rather than using pumpkins, locals carve out turnips as Jack-O-Lanterns. The turnips are a nod to the Irish folklore tale about a man called Jack who made a deal with the devil, which led to him being rejected from Heaven and Hell. He was destined to wander the countryside for ever, with only a lantern to guide him. While I can't say I've ever had a ghostly experience, in Ireland or otherwise, I leave the country fascinated by tales of yesteryear. But I'm also glad none of them have happened to me . . . yet.

We've been together for 25 years & they said it would never last – we embrace our issues, says Catherine Zeta-Jones
Catherine, who has been candid about the struggles they faced, also reveals her greatest achievement and which famous family she relates to LASTING LOVE We've been together for 25 years & they said it would never last – we embrace our issues, says Catherine Zeta-Jones Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) AS she plans a huge celebration to mark her 25th wedding anniversary with Michael Douglas, Catherine Zeta-Jones is also laughing at the cynics who said their marriage was doomed. The acting couple seemed an unlikely match at the start. Sign up for the Entertainment newsletter Sign up 6 Hollywood stars Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas are celebrating 25 years of marriage Credit: Getty 6 The couple pictured in New York in 2010 Credit: Getty Welsh beauty Catherine was 28 and about to secure A-list status starring in 1998 movie The Mask Of Zorro with Antonio Banderas, after finding fame in the UK with wholesome ITV show The Darling Buds Of May. Meanwhile, Basic Instinct star and ladies' man Michael, then 53, had separated from first wife Diandra Luker, who he eventually divorced in 2000, and had done a stint in rehab for booze and drug issues in 1992. But Catherine, now 55, recalled: 'We've been married 25 years, it's something to celebrate. And they said it would never last! 'It's a journey of learning and loving and fun, and the prospect of reaching a 25-year anniversary is really quite thrilling. I remember my mum and dad celebrating theirs.' The anniversary of their lavish wedding ceremony at the five-star Plaza Hotel in New York is in November, but Catherine will be too busy to celebrate on the actual date. She is now starring as Morticia Addams in the second series of Wednesday, which was released on Netflix this week, and will be filming season three on their big day. But Michael, now 80, doesn't mind waiting a few weeks for a party. Catherine said: 'I've been working a lot this year and he's been so supportive. I think we're going to be doing a party around the holidays because I'll be shooting season three. It's such a short period of time I have off. 'Difficult times' 'September 25 is both our birthdays. So from September 25 through to Christmas is a pretty busy time.' During the past quarter century, cynics have at times believed their predictions the couple wouldn't last. The Mask Of Zorro staring Catherine Zeta-Jones The stars themselves have been candid about the struggles they faced. In 2010, Michael announced he was undergoing intensive radiotherapy and chemotherapy to treat stage 4 throat cancer, which he said was caused by the HPV virus. The year after, Catherine revealed she had been diagnosed with bipolar II, struggling with the stress of her husband's illness. Then, in 2013, they announced that they had separated, but reconciled months later, with Michael saying: 'I think every couple has their difficult times. We're back, stronger than ever.' Surviving the tough spells has made them even more determined to celebrate with their children Dylan, 25, and Carys, 22, together with Michael's son Cameron, 46, from his first marriage. The Hollywood pair have amazing careers behind them, with Michael having been in Romancing The Stone and Wall Street, and Catherine in Chicago and Entrapment. But Catherine, now 55, recalled: 'We've been married 25 years, it's something to celebrate. And they said it would never last! Catherine Zeta-Jones But she says their greatest achievement is simply being parents. They raised Dylan and Carys out of the spotlight in Bermuda, where Michael's mother, Diana, was born. In 2009, they returned to New York. Showing off her moves Catherine said: 'Our children are truly wonderful. It's that fine balance of not putting them in a gilded cage of protection, of allowing them to make mistakes, of guiding them.' Wednesday, which launched in 2022, also stars Jenna Ortega in the title role and Luis Guzman as Morticia's husband Gomez. It became a huge hit for the streamer and won four Primetime Emmy Awards. Catherine admits that she relates to the Addams family, saying: 'It's a family who have issues, and we all relate to that. But we embrace our issues. 6 Catherine and Michael with kids Dylan and Carys at Walt Disney World in 2010 Credit: AP:Associated Press 6 The stars with Michael's movie legend dad Kirk Douglas and stepmother Anne in 2017 Credit: Splash News 'We don't shun or hide them or try to put them in a box.' Morticia and Wednesday have a strained relationship in the show, but Catherine says that she and real-life daughter Carys share a close bond. The actress reveals Morticia's parenting style involves 'nurturing and then having discipline'. Carys has experienced a small dose of her parenting style. Catherine said: 'I did give her side-eye the other day. I rolled my eyes, and she went, 'Don't Morticia me, Mom'. I thought it was a wonderful new line that kids can say to their mothers, 'Don't Morticia me'.' In addition to her happy off-screen marriage, Catherine said she is lucky to have a great on-screen hubby in Luis. She added of the Puerto Rican actor: 'We don't rehearse our chemistry, it just seems to really show up. We did this movie called Traffic 25 years ago and had a great friendship. 6 The couple defying critics together in 2019 Credit: AP:Associated Press 6 Catherine at last month's Wednesday premiere Credit: The Mega Agency 'We enjoy each other's company and respect each other as artists.' Catherine, who won the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role as Velma Kelly in 2002 film Chicago, as well as a Tony award for A Little Night Music on Broadway in 2009, said the new series sees her showing off her moves again. 'Secret weapon' She said: 'I'm a dancer and Luis moves very well. He worked so hard to get those moves.' Catherine revealed that one scene with Jenna in Wednesday sees her dust off another old skill — the sword-fighting she mastered for The Mask Of Zorro. She revealed: 'Jenna and I had so much fun. I did sword-fighting in Zorro, so, excuse the pun, it was my secret weapon.' The new Wednesday features a host of stars, including Brits Billie Piper, Joanna Lumley and Thandiwe Newton, plus US actors Steve Buscemi and Haley Joel Osment. It's a journey of learning and loving and fun, and the prospect of reaching a 25-year anniversary is really quite thrilling. I remember my mum and dad celebrating theirs Catherine Zeta-Jones Even Lady Gaga is making an appearance. She was invited on to the series after clips of Wednesday dancing went viral when fans set them to Gaga's track Bloody Mary. The megastar singer flew to Ireland to film scenes and Catherine says she was a joy to work with. She explained: 'To have a woman of that calibre within our environment, it's so incredibly amazing. 'When I met her, she was humble, gracious, creative, collaborative and a woman who is just, you know, it exudes from her — greatness. She doesn't know it. 'She's a wonderful artist. And I get to say now, 'I met Lady Gaga'.' Not to mention Gaga can say she met Catherine Zeta-Jones . . .
