Horse racing tips: ‘She has winning form at the track' – Templegate's Dante day NAP at York
TEMPLEGATE tackles a big Thursday at York confident of finding some winners.
The feature race is the Dante at 3.45pm where Derby favourite The Lion In Winter makes his long-awaited return.
SEE THE FIRE (3.13 York, nap)
She tanked along in the Gordon Richards Stakes last time before the lack of a recent run told. She was still within two lengths of the winner and held her own in Group 1 company last season. She has winning form here and this trip is ideal.
AESTERIUS (4.18 York, nb)
He has loads of boot as he showed when winning a Donny Group 2 before running well at the Breeders' Cup. Assuming he's wintered nicely, he'll take a lot of beating on this comeback.
ANNIVERSARY (5.25 York, treble)
He signed off last season with an excellent effort at Newmarket and has much more to come over this trip as a three-year-old.
