A jeweller's generous gesture for an elderly couple in Maharashtra's Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar (formerly Aurangabad) has overwhelmed the internet. In a now-viral video shared by Instagram user Girish Bharadwaj, the couple, who were on a pilgrimage to Pandharpur, are seen visiting a jewellery store to buy a gold mangalsutra.X user Dr Poornima, who also posted the video, translated their Marathi conversation and described the 'beautiful bond between a 93-year-old man and his wife.'advertisement
At the jewellery shop, the couple held hands as they browsed the mangalsutra collection, and eventually settled for the one they liked. When the shopkeeper gently asked how much they had, the woman said she had Rs 1,120 in cash."So much money?" the shopkeeper smiled, jokingly. Mistaking his reaction for concern, the elderly woman's husband checked his bag and pulled out two bundles of coins to make up for the remaining amount. However, what followed left the couple as well as the shop staff emotional. Moved by their innocence and modesty, the shopkeeper refused to take the full payment. Instead, he requested just Rs 10 from each of them, charging a symbolic Rs 20 for the mangalsutra.'Please keep your money. Just bless me, and may Lord Pandurang bless us all,' he said, as per the caption of the video.advertisementWatch the video here: View this post on Instagram A post shared by Girish Bharadwaj (@girishbdwj)No prizes for guessing that social media users couldn't hold back their tears. Industrialist and actress Karisma Kapoor's ex-husband Sunjay Kapur was laid to rest on June 19 in Delhi. Kapur passed away on June 12 at the age of 53. Reports claim he suffered a massive cardiac arrest which took his life. The last rites of Sunjay Kapur were performed at Delhi's Lodhi Road, where his family and friends came to pay their tributes. Among them was his ex-wife Karisma Kapoor, along with her kids — Samaira and Kiaan — whom she shared with Kapur. Karisma Kapoor was Sunjay's second wife. Kapur was previously married to designer Nandita Mahtani. However, after they parted ways, Sunjay and Karisma tied the knot in 2003. After their wedding, the couple was blessed with two kids — a daughter, Samaira Kapoor (20), and a son, Kiaan (15). As we discuss Sunjay and Karisma's kids, let's take a look at what Samaira Kapoor is doing. Who is Samaira Kapoor? Samaira is Sunjay and Karisma's eldest daughter. She is 20 years old. Despite having a massive empire of Rs 10,000 crore, there is no superstar in their family. Source of Income for the Kumars Bhushan Kumar runs the massive business of T-Series with his uncle, Kishan Kumar, who is also the chairman of the company. His family members, including Bhushan's wife, actor-director Divya Khossla; his sister, actor Khushali Kumar; and his younger sister, singer Tulsi Kumar, are also actively involved in the business. Apart from their individual income, Bhushan's T-Series—originally a powerhouse music label—evolved into one of India's leading film production giants, backing all-time blockbusters such as Baahubali 2: The Conclusion, Dangal, 3 Idiots, Aashiqui 2, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Ek Tha Tiger, War, Andhadhun, and Chennai Express, among many others. Apart from Bhushan Kumar's family, the second spot for being the richest family has been secured by the Chopra family. Yash Raj Films and BR Films have a massive net worth of ₹8,000 crore, whereas the third spot is secured by Shah Rukh Khan. Shah Rukh Khan is the richest actor in Bollywood and has a net worth of ₹7,800 crore, reported Forbes.
