Kate Middleton just wore these sunglasses from one of her favourite brands
With the weather warming up and the sun coming out, now's the time to invest in new sunglasses. If you need inspiration for the pair to choose, look no further than the Princess of Wales, who was today seen sporting a pair of shades from eyewear brand Finlay and Co.
Those who follow Kate's style closely will know that she's plumped for the brand before. She opted for the Henrietta light tortoiseshell sunglasses (£160, Finlayandco.com) on a royal engagement in the Bahamas in 2022, before re-wearing them at Wimbledon and the Royal Charity Polo Cup. More recently, she was also spotted leaving a Finlay and Co store in January, bag in hand.
As for the pair she wore today, which coincides with the Waleses' 14th wedding anniversary, she opted for the brand's Vivian design. She styled them with a brown blazer, blue shirt and brown trousers during an outing with William in Scotland on the Isle of Mull.

Emmerdale star teases soap crossover with real-life Coronation Street siblings
Emmerdale actress Amelia Flanagan addressed whether it's possible her character will feature in scenes with her real-life Coronation Street brother and sister amid a crossover There's a soap crossover on the way, and one Emmerdale star is hopeful it will mean she gets to team up with her real-life Coronation Street siblings. Amelia Flanagan spoke exclusively to The Mirror about her excitement for the big soap twist, confirmed by ITV recently. With Amelia, who plays April Windsor on the soap, having siblings on Corrie it could well mean they feature in scenes together for the first time ever. Nothing has been revealed yet in terms of which characters from both soaps will be in the episodes, but we know at least one star from each show will interact. With talks of a public vote, it's not known who will be in those scenes. With Amelia hoping to film with her her fellow soap stars and brother and sister William and Isabella Flanagan in what would be an epic opportunity for the talented siblings, could we see the trio on the same episode at the same time? Amelia certainly would love to see it happen, with fans also questioning whether they might get the go ahead. Amelia told us at The British Soap Awards 2025: "I think everything is still in the pipeline at the moment, so we will have to watch this space and see what happens. It would be brilliant to explore that crossover because there's three of us in the soaps. "It would be incredible, and it's very exciting. So fingers crossed we get some scenes together. It's never been done before, the crossover, and so much could happen." At the awards, Amelia burst into tears as she was awarded the trophy for Best Young Performer, a category her younger brother William was also nominated for in his role as Corrie's Joseph Brown. William gave his sister a standing ovation and applauded her when the result came in. In a sweet moment she supported him right back, mentioning him in her winners speech. April and Dylan didn't leave things on the best terms, but I think what is important now is that he's back. "Who knows what will happen. William and Sophie sample gin during rare joint outing
William and Sophie touched paper cups and said 'cheers' as they sampled the drink at the Royal Cornwall Show – the prince's first visit as the Duke of Cornwall. The pair were mobbed by crowds at the event at Whitecross, Wadebridge near Bodmin, who wanted selfies with William and to shake their hands. The prince and duchess tried Saint Sithney Cornish gin and afterwards William described it as 'very light'. They also sampled the prince's favourite tipple, cider, and as the alcohol consumption mounted William joked about stronger spirits: 'I've been caught out with whisky a few times – I think I can do it, then it catches you out.' The pair spent the first few moments touring food stalls and stopped at jellies, jams and other produce made by the husband and wife team Wendy and Andy Knight from Home Farm Cornwall. William spread some spicy pumpkin chutney onto a piece of popadom, after asking for something 'not too hot' and quipped: 'When anyone says a little bit of spice – it's quite hot.' But he approved of the taste: 'Yummy, really good, there's definitely a bit of spice.' The prince knew what he wanted when they visited the Rattler Cornish Cider stall and turned down an offer of an alcohol free drink, saying he '(needed) the real stuff, cannot drink zero' and asked for the 'original'. He told Laura Clerehug who was manning the stand that 'everyone remembers their first Rattler' and after taking a drink, said: 'Needs a bit of ice in it, like a bit of ice.' During his tour of the show, William was intrigued by a robot dog-like device being developed by the University of Plymouth that can test the biodiversity of agricultural land, with farmers from William's Duchy of Cornwall participating in the research. He quipped 'what will the sheep make of that – dogs hate it I'm sure' – and watched as it rolled on to its back like a real canine. In the Duchy of Cornwall hub marquee, a large number of mental health charities and organisations working in Cornwall had been gathered and he chatted intently to the representatives. Husband and wife Serena and Elliott Jolly founded Sunrise Cornwall, after Mrs Jolly's younger brother committed suicide, to provide safe spaces for bereaved family and friends to talk and share their experiences. Gesturing around to the other organisations, William suggested to the couple they all 'find a way to help each other out, the synergy will make a greater impact, I hope that's something you can talk about'. Mrs Jolly said afterwards: 'Suicide isn't a dirty word, we have to be able to talk about it.'
