Gear: PXG Bat Attack ZT putterPrice: $399Specs: Hollow-bodied 303 stainless steel head with polymer injection, S-hosel with 2-degree forward press, Pyramid Face Pattern with dual adjustable sole weightsWho it's for: Golfers seeking a stable mallet putter that reduces face rotation and enhances stroke quality. What you should know: This is the second putter in PXG's Zero Torque series, blending the company's popular Bat Attack shape with new anti-torque shaft and hosel technology.
The Deep Dive: PXG doesn't really do quiet product drops. The brand that made its name with bold looks, bold claims and bolder price tags is back at it again — this time with the Bat Attack ZT Putter, the second installment in its Zero Torque (ZT) putter lineup. The new model takes the Bat Attack's popular, high-MOI shape and infuses it with the same anti-torque engineering that debuted in last year's PXG Allan putter.
While the fang-shaped wings that extend in the heel and toe area are something most golfers have seen before, what you won't see — but might feel — is the way the S-hosel repositions the shaft axis just above the center of gravity. This design feature is at the core of PXG's Zero Torque concept: minimizing face rotation during the stroke, which is a fancy way of saying the putter tries to keep the face square to your stroke's path from takeaway to follow-through.
That S-hosel design also includes 2 degrees of forward press built in, so instead of having to forward-press your hands at address and risk inconsistency, the Bat Attack ZT puts your hands into the ideal spot naturally. Combined with the mallet's perimeter-weighted construction, golfers may feel like the Bat Attack ZT wants to swing itself.
Like the Allan putter, the Bat Attack ZT is built with a hollow 303 stainless steel body injected with PXG's proprietary S COR polymer. The soft material accounts for nearly a third of the putter's internal volume and helps redistribute weight to the perimeter, increasing the moment of inertia (MOI) and stabilizing the head through impact.
The S COR polymer also serves a second purpose: Behind PXG's thin milled face, it absorbs excess vibration and helps the Bat Attack ZT deliver a softer, more insert-like sound.
The face also features PXG's Pyramid Face Pattern, a milling design that has little peaks and valleys engineered to grip the ball's dimple pattern and promote true roll, especially on mishits.
Finally, the Bat Attack ZT includes two adjustable sole weights, giving fitters a way to adjust the swing weight based on the club's length and a golfer's preferences.

PXG Debuts Sleek Double Black Finish for Its PXG Allan ZT Putter – A Bold New Look for Zero Torque Precision

Expanded Zero Torque Putter Lineup is Engineered for Personalized Performance and Greater Consistency with Less Effort Scottsdale, AZ, June 05, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PXG®, the custom fitting-focused golf equipment company founded by Marine Corps Veteran Bob Parsons, is proud to introduce a striking new Double Black finish for one of its most innovative putters: the PXG Allan® ZT. The brand new PXG Allan ZT Double Black putter features a distinctive all-black aesthetic that enhances the sleek, modern design and offers the practical benefit of reducing glare at address. At the core of the PXG Allan ZT Double Black is PXG's patented Zero Torque (ZT) Balance Technology, engineered to eliminate the twisting forces that typically compromise face control during the putting stroke. The innovative S-hosel positions the shaft axis just above the center of gravity, helping golfers – regardless of stroke type – deliver a square face at impact with greater consistency and less effort. Constructed with a thin-walled, hollow-body design and injected with PXG's proprietary S COR™ polymer, the putter provides exceptional feel, vibration dampening, and forgiveness. This advanced structure also allows PXG to produce one of the thinnest faces in golf—just 0.055'—for enhanced sound and energy transfer. The signature Pyramid Face Pattern further improves roll consistency by optimizing contact with a ball's dimples, aiding in better launch, roll, and distance control. Additionally, Precision Weighting Technology in the sole gives golfers and fitters the ability to fine-tune the clubhead's weight and balance to fit individual preferences. Adding to its usability, the PXG Allan ZT Double Black includes a built-in Pick Up Pocket™, allowing players to easily retrieve a ball from the green—no bending required. The putter comes standard with the PXG M16® Stability Shaft, a game-changing upgrade for golfers looking for more control on putts from any distance, especially those outside of ten feet. PXG Launches XP1 and XP2 Pickleball Paddles Expanding Its High-Performance Equipment Lineup into Fast-Growing Sport

High-performance sports brand PXG brings its engineering excellence to the pickleball court Scottsdale, AZ, May 29, 2025 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- PXG, a global leader in high-performance golf equipment and apparel, today announced its official entry into the pickleball arena with the launch of its first-ever pickleball paddles: the PXG® XP1TM and PXG® XP2TM. This expansion marks PXG's bold step into a new category – one that is booming in popularity and already winning over millions of golfers across the U.S. According to the Association of Pickleball Professionals (APP), nearly 50 million adult Americans—almost 1 in 5—played pickleball last year. Notably, nearly one-third of golfers also play pickleball, making the sport a natural fit for PXG's highly engaged and crossover audience. 'We've always focused on innovation and premium performance,' said PXG Chief Product Officer Brad Schweigert. 'As pickleball rapidly becomes the alternative go-to sport, we saw the opportunity to bring PXG's engineering expertise to the court.' The PXG XP1 and XP2 pickleball paddles are meticulously engineered to deliver high-performance play through the integration of advanced materials and design technologies. At the center of each paddle is a polypropylene honeycomb core, featuring 8mm cells designed to optimize energy transfer while dampening vibration. This core configuration provides a stable, consistent response across the paddle face, promoting both power and precision on contact. The hitting surface is constructed from 3K woven carbon fiber, selected for its high tensile strength and lightweight composition. This material enhances paddle rigidity while maintaining maneuverability, resulting in superior energy return and shot acceleration. To augment control and shot manipulation, a precision-textured finish is applied to the carbon fiber face. This engineered texture enhances grip on the ball, allowing for elevated levels of spin and directional control during high-speed rallies. Encasing the performance technologies is an edgeless aerodynamic profile that minimizes drag and reduces interference on perimeter strikes. This design not only improves swing speed and handling but also maximizes the effective hitting area for consistent performance across a range of playing conditions. Two Head Shapes, One Standard of Excellence PXG XP1 Paddle: Standard paddle shape with a larger sweet spot, ideal for players of all skill levels seeking control, forgiveness, and consistency. PXG XP2 Paddle: Elongated design shifts the sweet spot toward the top of the paddle for enhanced reach, power, and ball speed—perfect for experienced and pro-level players. The PXG XP1 and XP2 Pickleball Paddles are available online at and at select PXG retail locations.
