Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum participates in Back to School Festival
In a statement, the Ministry of Culture said the Forum's participation aims to help prepare students for the new academic year through engaging activities that instil a love of reading and learning in children. As part of its program, the Forum is offering a workshop on 'The Importance of Reading' to introduce children to the benefits of books and the knowledge treasures they hold.
Director of the Qatari Publishers and Distributors Forum, Jassim Ahmed Al Buainain, stated that this event is part of the Ministry of Culture's vision to nurture a conscious generation that loves reading. He added that the Forum continues its efforts to support the publishing and distribution sector, with full backing from the Ministry, in line with the country's vision to preserve national identity and values.
The Forum's booth features a mini-library with a selection of books, including notable local titles from Qatari publishing houses, highlighting their contributions to the local cultural scene.

A graduate with a Bachelor's degree with honours in Film and TV Production from Keele University in the United Kingdom, Al Mana combines international expertise with a deep passion for representing Qatari culture on screen. 'I always look forward to participate in building a bright future for the country and achieving the vision of the Amir His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani through Qatar National Vision 2030,' Al Mana said. Al Mana Film Studios is the first Qatari film studio specialising in the independent film industry. Based in Doha, the creative and innovative film studio company offers comprehensive production services and solutions for filmmakers. Part of the SCALE7 Acceleration Programme by Qatar Development Bank (QDB). Guided by Qatar Vision 2030, it develops talent, fuels culture, and shares Qatari stories globally.

QNA Doha Qatari cinemas are screening a diverse lineup of films this week, coinciding with their global releases. The offerings span action, thriller, horror, comedy, adventure, and animated features for children and families. Leading the schedule is the action-thriller 'No Body 2', directed by Timo Tjahjanto.
