And Traore showcased his monstrous power by slamming Bassey on the concrete floor
The two heavyweights faced off in two rounds that required each participant to pin his opponent's back on the floor.
Traore showed his monstrous strength as he won the first round with relevant ease by slamming his opponent on the concrete floor.
And Bassey joked later that the result would be different if he just had more "grip".
The second round didn't go any better for the centre-back as the winger floored him again in another dominant display that justified his reputation as the Premier League's biggest powerhouse.
The friendly bout was met with laughs and cheers from team-mates who used this funny moment as a way to loosen up a bit amid a challenging season.
And some fans joined in on the fun as they wondered what would happen if manager Marco Silva had walked in.
One supporter tweeted: "Marco Silva won't be happy with this video..."
Another commented: "When he [Silva] comes in.. PAUSE.'

A fan wrote: " Lol, [Traore] would've had better chances with UFC than with football."
This supporter said: "His [Traore] agent should call Dana White. A summer UFC fight won't be bad."
But there were also some Fulham fans that weren't too impressed with what they saw in the dressing room as they pointed out that could have led to a serious injury.
This comes amid the West Londoners' bid for a rare European qualification as they chase an eighth-place finish, which would lead to the Conference League if Crystal Palace don't win the FA Cup.
One fan tweeted: "What if they get injured in the process?! Who's paying the wages?"
Another commented: "Wrestling on concrete. Great idea..."
A third wrote: "Imagine being a pro footballer and you get injured like this..."
This fan said: "Imagine picking up a stupid injury in this, no sense."
And that one stated: "Imagine pulling a hamstring that lays you off for the rest of the season just cos of a dressing room wrestling."

Rising star holds talks over Cardiff City future as Barry-Murphy says club have 'special' talent

Rising star holds talks over Cardiff City future as Barry-Murphy says club have 'special' talent The young talent sees his contract run out next summer but the head coach does not want to see him leave Brian Barry-Murphy, Cardiff City head coach (Image: Huw Evans Picture Agency Ltd) Rising Cardiff City star Dylan Lawlor is in "active talks" with the club over extending his current deal, head coach Brian Barry-Murphy has confirmed. ‌ The 19-year-old has emerged as a top talent at first-team level, after being a promising prospect within the youth set-up for a number of years. Craig Bellamy even recognised the player's ability with a call-up to Wales' senior camp over the summer, before Lawlor established himself as a starting League One centre-back under Barry-Murphy. ‌ After a tricky test on the opening day against Peterborough United, the Caerphilly product seems to be improving week on week. Join the Cardiff City breaking news and top stories WhatsApp community. ‌ The teenager, who has captained Wales at age-grade level, slots in seamlessly under Barry-Murphy, showcasing silky passing at the heart of the Bluebirds defence, which were on show once again in the win over Wimbledon on Tuesday evening. There will be physical battles that lie ahead, and that seems his biggest challenge to date, but sources have spoken with real excitement with regards to the centre-back's future and where his career trajectory potentially points to. Cardiff triggered a year's option on his deal, meaning his current contract expires in June 2026. It means he is free to talk to foreign clubs from January as things stand. Article continues below Lawlor's obvious talent in this age of heaping emphasis on having ball-playing centre-backs has not escaped other clubs, of course. It is understood a European club has shown real interest in him, while a major Premier League outfit and a top Scottish club have also enquired about the player. Dylan Lawlor of Cardiff City (Image: Huw Evans Picture Agency Ltd) But Barry-Murphy hopes the club and Lawlor can come to an agreement which sees him commit his future to the Bluebirds. ‌ When asked if the club were in active talks with Lawlor over a new deal, the head coach replied: "Yes. "I just make my feelings clear to the ownership and to Patrick (Deboys, head of recruitment) about how important he is to the club, how we value him and where we see him for the future. "I don't know on timescales. ‌ "Our commitment to Dylan, in terms of how much time we've invested in him in training and how much opportunity we've given him to play is clear. "Hopefully he feels the same way and he can come to an agreement that is satisfactory for him and the club get what we want as well." Lawlor is just one of a number of young talents making a name for himself in a Bluebirds shirt this season. The emergence of Ronan Kpakio has also been a delight, while we are likely to see more of Tanatswa Nyakuhwa and fellow academy graduate Eli King in the months to come. ‌ And Rubin Colwill's younger brother Joel is also making waves. He put in a seriously strong display in the heart of midfield against Wimbledon on Tuesday evening, ensuring he is another player whose form seems to be tracking in the right direction. Joel Colwill of Cardiff City (Image: Huw Evans Picture Agency Ltd) And it's fair to say Barry-Murphy has been mightily impressed with the younger Colwill brother. "The room for improvement in his game — and I mean this in a positive way — is so great because of what he could achieve. "The excitement within the staff and the club about what he could do is really tangible. ‌ "The biggest thing for me is that his mentality is incredible. They are different characters, him and Rubin, but Joel's appetite to improve, and his energy from day one has blown us away. "Now you see the skill level that we've seen, it's starting to become really evident. "We want that competition for places in the middle of the pitch. Initially it was Joel, then it was David Turnbull — and David played so well against Rotherham — but Joel played so well on Tuesday night against Wimbledon. ‌ "It can be quite a messy place in my mind (selecting a midfield), but as a club we have a smaller squad and then there's an element of competition between players of that calibre." --- *Follow all of our social channels to ensure you stay up to date with the latest Bluebirds news. Louis Munteanu insider tells Celtic his transfer intentions as real reason for striker's Cluj absence revealed

The Premiership champions were said to have seen a bid rejected by Cluj earlier in the window Louis Munteanu is said has his heart set on a move to La Liga - despite interest from Celtic. ‌ The Romania international caught the eye at CFR Cluj last season, banging in 25 goals in all competitions to help his team win the domestic cup. ‌ Munteanu is alleged to be on Brendan Rodgers ' radar, with reports claiming that the Hoops saw a £6.9million bid turfed out for the 23-year-old earlier this summer. ‌ The former Fiorentina kid is also wanted by Valencia in Spain, and reports in Romania state that an initial loan deal that will become a permanent transfer for £8.6million is close to being finalised. And Romania U23 boss and one-time Inverness Caley Thistle forward Marius Niculae has revealed the player's transfer intentions. Speaking to he said: "I spent a lot of time with him this summer and talked a lot. I like him a lot, I bet on him to be the next striker for the national team. "He is a player who has great qualities. He was also a little stressed, even if he didn't show it. He says he is preparing, but your mind wanders to other areas as well. "I see him in Spain, it suits him best. He wants this too, also in Spain, from the discussions we had. I think it would suit him best, not Italy where he has been before or somewhere else, in a tougher championship." Munteanu returned to action as a substitute in Cluj's 3-3 league draw with Botosani last weekend after missing the second leg of their defeat to Braga in a Europa League qualifier. ‌ But ahead of their Conference League play-off clash against BK Hacken, manager Dan Petrescu - a legend with Chelsea - insists the attacker's lack of minutes is not down to any transfer speculation. "Louis Munteanu has had several days in which he missed training this summer," he stated. "He was injured, basically, he lost everything that the training period meant. "Even so, I say that he hasn't played badly so far, even if he hasn't scored. He's always started well, but, naturally, everyone expects more from him." ‌ You can get all the news you need on our dedicated Celtic pages and sign up to our newsletters to make sure you never miss a beat throughout the season.
