PM Modi in Rajasthan, inaugurates redeveloped railway station in Bikaner
Mr. Modi also flagged-off the Bikaner-Mumbai Express from Deshnok and will lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth more than ₹26,000 crore.
Inspired by temple architecture, the revamped Deshnok station located near the Karni Mata temple will cater to thousands of pilgrims visiting the shrine each year.
Prime Minister Modi will also address a public gathering in Palana.
Besides, Mr. Modi will virtually inaugurate 103 redeveloped 'Amrit Stations' in 86 districts across 18 states and Union territories, which have been built at a cost of ₹1,100 crore.
The Prime Minister was accompanied by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma and others.

The MP also referred to the recent conclave in Visakhapatnam, attended by Union Minister for Ports, Shipping and Waterways Sarbananda Sonowal and representatives from seven Bay of Bengal nations, as a testament to the State's growing prominence in international maritime cooperation. 'Andhra Pradesh is already emerging as a leader in cruise tourism, with successful cruise operations and more in the pipeline,' he observed. Mr. Sribharat urged the House to adopt the Bill 'in the spirit of nation-building', emphasising that it would strengthen India's maritime capabilities and bring lasting benefits to coastal communities.

Bengaluru: Union Minister Pralhad Joshi has welcomed the central government's announcement that a proposal by Aequs Infra's Hubballi Durable Goods Cluster Pvt Ltd to set up a Special Economic Zone (SEZ) for electronic components has become a reality. "This is a matter of joy and pride for North Karnataka, especially for the industrialists of Hubballi-Dharwad," Mr Joshi, the Union Minister of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution and New and Renewable Energy, said in a post on X. The SEZ has been notified in the gazette by the central government under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union minister said. "Recognising the need for electronics manufacturing in this region, I had requested the Union Minister of Commerce and Industry, Piyush Goyal, to approve it. Out of the total 391 acres of land in Aequs Infra's Hubballi Durable Goods Cluster, 28 acres have now been declared as an SEZ for electronics. In the coming days, as new electronics industries arrive, there is scope to expand the SEZ further," said Mr Joshi, whose Lok Sabha constituency is Dharwad.
