ABU DHABI (WAM)President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan has sent a congratulatory message to President Tharman Shanmugaratnam of the Republic of Singapore on the occasion of his country's National Day.
His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, and His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, dispatched similar messages to the President of Singapore, and to the country's Prime Minister Lawrence Wong.

This meeting follows the agreement of a bilateral Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (CEPA) last July, aimed at enhancing trade cooperation and investment meeting touched on ways to build and expand partnerships between the business communities and the private sector on both sides. UAE, Jordan Conduct 69th Humanitarian Aid Drop Over Gaza
The UAE and Jordan jointly carried out their 69th airdrop of humanitarian aid into Gaza on Tuesday, joined by seven aircraft from Germany, Italy, Belgium, and France. The shipment, prepared with the support of UAE-based charities, was part of Operation Gallant Knight 3 — a relief mission directed by President Sheikh Mohamed to deliver food and essential supplies to Gaza's most affected areas. In addition to the airdrop, 20 lorries carrying around 500 tonnes of food entered Gaza through land crossings. According to state news agency Wam, the UAE has now parachuted more than 3,924 tonnes of aid, including food and other essential items, since the start of the operation. The Palestinian death toll since the conflict began on October 7, 2023, stands at 61,599, with 154,088 injured.

Abu Dhabi establishes labor prosecution to handle worker and domestic cases
Chairman of Abu Dhabi Judicial Department, His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Deputy Prime Minister and Chairman of the Presidential Court, has issued a resolution creating the Abu Dhabi Labor Prosecution to oversee investigations and claims involving labor and domestic worker cases. The move is part of the judicial department's efforts to expand specialized prosecution units to ensure faster, more efficient proceedings and deliver accurate, fair judgments in key sectors, while safeguarding the rights of all parties in line with transparency and justice standards. The new prosecution office will have jurisdiction over offences under Federal Law No. 33 of 2021 on the regulation of work relations and Federal Law No. 9 of 2022 on domestic workers within Abu Dhabi. It will be led by a public prosecution member with a rank of at least chief prosecutor, supported by additional prosecution members and specialized staff.
