Stephen A. Smith thinks Jax Ulbrich deserves an old-school punishment for being behind the prank call made to Schedeur Sanders during the 2025 NFL Draft.
Jax, the son of Falcons defensive coordinator and former Jets coach Jeff Ulbrich, revealed he was behind the call with an apology posted to Instagram on Sunday.

'To Jeff Ulbrich, I sincerely hope he whipped his kid's ass,' Smith said during 'First Take' on Monday. 'That's an ass whipping. That is a required ass whipping.'
The ESPN star did not put much blame on Jeff Ulbrich for his son's actions, but tried to stress to the 21-year-old the potential damage he could have done.
Stephen A. Smith let out an epic rant on Jax Ulbrich during 'First Take' on Monday. Awful Announcing/X
'What if the Atlanta Falcons didn't believe him. Your dad could have lost his job!' Smith said. 'And because you want to prank somebody and be cruel and insensitive knowing what Shedeur must have been going through, you would be some privileged little brat that would do something like that. You should be ashamed of yourself. And you should have your ass whipped.'

The elder Ulbrich, who's entering his first season in Atlanta, has not been disciplined as the Falcons said in a statement that Jax 'unintentionally' came across the contact number for Sanders on an 'open iPad while visiting his parents' home.'
One of Jax Ulbrich's friends made the call to Sanders on Friday as the Colorado quarterback was in the middle of an unprecedented draft slide.
The caller posed as Saints general manager Mickey Loomis, insinuating that he was about to draft Sanders before the pranksters told the prospect he was going to have to wait longer, as all of it was captured on his draft livestream.

'It's been a long wait, man,' the person said. 'We're going to take you with our next pick, man, but you're going to have to wait a little bit longer, man. Sorry about that.'

On Saturday, the group posted a video of them pranking Sanders. A day later, the NFL announced it was investigating the call. Shortly after, Jax Ulbrich posted his apology to Sanders — who was finally drafted the fifth round by the Browns (No. 144 overall).
'On Friday night I made a tremendous mistake,' the statement read. 'Sheduer [sic], what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing, and shameful. I'm so sorry I took away from your moment, it was selfish and childish. I could never imagine getting ready to celebrate one of the greatest moments of your life and I made a terrible mistake and messed with that moment. Thank you for accepting my call earlier today, I hope you can find it in your heart to forgive me.'

Smith didn't like any of it one bit.
'See, it's not criminal. But it's unethical, it's classless, it's amoral to some degree,' he said. 'And I'd like to see the face of that kid. Because sometimes you need to be embarrassed. That's what needs to happen to you.'

Kristjaan Speakman's exciting Sunderland claim as Jobe Bellingham transfer confirmed

KRISTJAAN Speakman believes Jobe Bellingham's progression on Wearside and record-breaking move to Borussia Dortmund is further evidence of the "strength of Sunderland's strategy and what's possible". The club's sporting director said Bellingham "lived and breathed Sunderland every step of the way" during his two years on Wearside and believes the midfielder made a lasting impact at the Stadium of Light. Advertisement Bellingham has today completed his move to Borussia Dortmund, joining the Bundesliga giants for €33, plus €5m in add-ons. Sunderland sources say the add-ons are "realistic". The agreement also contains a 15 per cent sell-on fee. The move brings to an end Bellingham's two-year stay at Sunderland, which culminated in promotion to the Premier League last month. Bellingham was a star for Regis Le Bris' side last season, starting 39 and featuring in 40 of Sunderland's regular Championship games before playing every minute in the successful play-off campaign. RECOMMENDED READING: Advertisement Despite winning promotion with Sunderland, Bellingham still felt it was the right time to move on and was keen to follow in his brother Jude's footsteps by joining Dortmund. The move was confirmed on Tuesday afternoon ahead of the first summer deadline at 7pm UK time. Bellingham is now eligible to play for Dortmund in the upcoming Club World Cup. Speakman said: 'I had no doubts that Jobe would develop with us at Sunderland. "He has an unrelenting commitment to improvement that only the very best possess, and his progression is clear for all to see. "Less obvious are the sacrifices and the challenges along the way, and I couldn't be prouder of how he's conducted himself and embraced the club, the community, and our supporters. "Jobe wanted to create his own story, be part of a new Sunderland, and make a lasting impact. He achieved all of this, and although we are naturally disappointed to lose a player of Jobe's quality, everyone at SAFC wishes him well in this next stage of his journey.' Ahead of the move being completed, Bellingham posted an emotional farewell on his Instagram page. He wrote: "It's time for me to say farewell to all the loyal people of Sunderland, who have powered me through two incredible years in red and white. Advertisement "Your support, on so many occasions, has completely blown me away, especially in the times of adversity which we pulled through together. "You welcomed me with open arms as a kid leaving home for the first time, and I am proud that our relationship has grown to be so strong ever since. Your support for the team and I since I arrived at your beloved football club was unwavering, and for that I am forever indebted to you as people and supporters. "I will always represent Wearside in all that I strive to achieve for the rest of my career, wherever that may be. "I hope that I have made you proud along the way, and in return you have made me the player that has reached the heights I find myself at today. So thank you. Advertisement "I will love and remember you fondly for the rest of my life, from the bottom of my heart. "I tried to embody the passion you have for the city on the football pitch and I'm so incredibly delighted our journey came to an end with a victory at Wembley to restore the club in its rightful place. "To the staff, players and most importantly the supporters thank you so much and good luck for the future. "Jobe, adopted Mackem."

Video: Mom Proves Her Daughter & ‘Grammy' Are the Best Duo To Exist

A mother and her daughter's relationship is considered one of the purest bonds in the world. While that remains an uncontested fact, kids also tend to get along well with their grandmothers. A reel on social media is proving the same with a hilarious touch. The viral parenting video showed a fun banter between a girl and her grandmother, reflecting the duo's chaotic relationship. An Instagram user named @mymadisyn12 took to the platform on May 1 to drop a video of parenting that ended up going viral. The profile managed by Madisyn, aka Maddy's mother, is known for sharing memorable snippets of the daughter. In the above video, Maddy is seen engaging in a playful banter with her granny that will leave one in stitches. It begins with the girl laughing out loud, much to the dismay of her grandmother. Then, Maddy pacifies her in the most hilarious manner by saying, 'Oh Grammy…oh Grammy!' who also breaks into laughter. The scene cuts to an argument between the duo, with the girl disagreeing with her granny. While Maddy says 'No, they aren't', the grandmother shares, 'Yeah, they're gonna float away cause you held your peepee there!' As a result, the little girl is annoyed and exclaims, 'You spit on me and I do not like you!' Furthermore, Maddy is seen working on her laptop. However, the grandma wishes to return 'home and lay down and rest' to avoid her granddaughter's talks. Later, Maddy is seen with her doll while her granny asks her, 'What is all of that hanging out?' about the toy. However, the former moves her toy away and instructs her grandmother not to 'touch other people!' In the last moment of the viral parenting video, the grandmother is seen ranting about 'Cocos and coocoos and cacas!.' The video ends with Maddy telling her, 'Grandma, come here! Look!' suggesting the duo are playing dumb charades or a tongue twister. Maddy's mother loves the banter between the two as she mentioned a fan comment on the clip, 'A better duo doesn't exist. Video: Mom Shows What Parenting Multiple Children Looks Like

A viral video on Instagram shows an example of the practical realities of parenting multiple children. The household's mom, Brynn Stahle, recorded the video, featuring her husband and two children. The younger sibling's face was painted by the elder brother. Their dad held the younger brother in his arms, asking the elder one not to paint the baby's face again. An Instagram video captured a chaotic parenting moment, presenting the lives of parents raising multiple children. The mom records the hilarious moment while the dad deals with the chaos. As such, the clip perfectly encapsulates the mayhem and uncertainty of raising more than one child at the same time. The video shows a classic parenting scene that resonates with many parents raising multiple kids. Like any other dad, the dad in the video holds his young one in his arms. However, what sets this ordinary moment apart is that the child's face is covered in purple paint. The elder sibling's artistic flair and enthusiasm are responsible for the artwork. As the mother records the moment, the clip captures the dad, in his calm yet firm voice, telling his elder son, Stiles: 'Don't paint the baby, okay?' Brimming with toddler energy, the elder sibling responds, 'Okay!' The dad continues, 'Say, 'Daddy, I won't paint the baby.'' Without missing a beat, Stiles repeats each word with intention. The video's on-screen caption clarifies the context: 'pov: you blink while parenting multiple children.' This point of view sheds light on the maddening and endearing effect of the overlay text. Moreover, the video's caption is capable of leaving parents with a wry smile: 'and this is how we're starting our morning.' It is not just the video's humor but its relatability that makes it a resonating piece of media. The video is messy, chaotic, and shows the reality of parenting multiple kids with a spouse. It also serves as a reminder to enjoy such little chaos every chance one gets. The post Video: Mom Shows What Parenting Multiple Children Looks Like appeared first on Momtastic.
