, Mohammed Siraj, and Arshdeep Singh, Gill has been sharpening his technique and leadership instincts.
Arshdeep even remarked that the new skipper is 'in good touch' — a promising sign ahead of a five-match Test series in challenging English conditions.
Earlier in a video released by the BCCI, Gill shared his emotions: 'As a young kid, when anyone starts playing cricket, they want to play for India, and not just play for India, but play Test cricket for India for a very long time. To be able to get this opportunity is a great honour… it is a big responsibility.'

He crossed the 100-run mark in just 35 balls in that fixture, and it helped him become the youngest batter in history to score a century in T20 cricket and also break the record of scoring the fastest IPL century by an Indian batter.
