Ashi Singh Hits Back At Mahira Khan For Anti-India Comments: 'Pakistan Hosted Osama'
Last Updated:
Amid escalating India-Pakistan tensions post Operation Sindoor, television actress Ashi Singh has fiercely responded to Mahira Khan's criticism of India's airstrikes.
Television star Ashi Singh didn't hold back when responding to Pakistani actress Mahira Khan, who recently condemned India's Operation Sindoor—a retaliatory airstrike mission targeting terror camps in Pakistan and PoK following the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack that killed 26 civilians and soldiers.
Mahira, in a now-controversial post, had called the Indian operation 'cowardly" and accused India of using war and hate rhetoric. 'You attack cities in the middle of the night and call it a victory? Shame on you," she wrote, while alleging that Pakistan was being blamed without evidence.
On May 11, Ashi Singh, known for Meet: Badlegi Duniya Ki Reet, fired back on her Instagram stories with a scathing takedown, 'Coming from a country that hosted Osama in its backyard, trained terrorists in camps, and cried innocent after 26/11, Kargil, and Pulwama—that's rich. Spare us the lecture and ask some sensible questions to your own nation (where you CAN have a voice). India doesn't celebrate war, we respond when provoked. #JaiHind."
Her remarks instantly drew both support and backlash, with a surge of messages from Pakistani users—some hateful, some threatening. But Ashi didn't back down. In a follow-up post, she addressed the online flak head-on, 'To all my dear Pak fans flooding my DMs with love, I genuinely feel sorry for you. Not just because you're misinformed, but because you choose to be. Instagram chalana aata hai, toh thoda Google bhi try kar lo."
She then laid out a fact-based reality check, 'Start here: Who started Kargil after the Lahore peace talks? Where was Osama bin Laden found? Who trained the 26/11 attackers? Why does your awam say 'no electricity, no jobs, but nukes zindabad'? Still think your hands are clean? Try international media—not just what you're fed. That is, if opening your eyes isn't too exhausting. With love and facts,
A Proud Indian."
Ashi's bold response has resonated with many in India amid ongoing tensions, with her post going viral across X (formerly Twitter) and Reddit.
Meanwhile, on May 8, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) released a statement blasting both Mahira and Fawad Khan for their comments. The association demanded a 'strict and complete ban" on all Pakistani actors and filmmakers from working in India, calling their statements 'disrespectful to the nation" and 'an insult to our brave soldiers."
'No Indian artist will collaborate with any Pakistani talent, nor will any global platform be shared with them," the AICWA declared.
As tensions simmer on both political and cultural fronts, Ashi Singh's unapologetic patriotism has ignited a fiery debate—one that shows no signs of quieting down.

Paresh Rawal Wears ‘Don't Quit' T-Shirt After Hera Pheri 3 Exit; A Jibe At Akshay Kumar?
Last Updated: Paresh's sudden departure reportedly shocked Akshay, who had bought the rights to the beloved franchise only after Rawal's verbal nod. The Hera Pheri 3 controversy just got more dramatic. Days after veteran actor Paresh Rawal officially exited the much-anticipated comedy sequel, a photo of him wearing a 'Don't Quit" t-shirt has gone viral. The image, originally shared by actress Geeta Basra, has fans wondering if it's a subtle jab at the ongoing fallout with Akshay Kumar. Paresh's sudden departure reportedly shocked Akshay, who had bought the rights to the beloved franchise only after Rawal's verbal nod. The move allegedly caused financial setbacks for the production, prompting Akshay to initiate legal action against his longtime co-star. In response, Paresh clarified that he had genuine reasons for stepping away from the project and had returned the signing amount, with interest. 'My lawyer, Ameet Naik, has sent an appropriate response regarding my rightful termination and exit. Once they read my response, all issues will be laid to rest," Rawal posted on X (formerly Twitter), standing firm on his decision. The actor's 'Don't Quit" tee has become a talking point on social media, with fans and followers speculating whether it's a cryptic message aimed at the makers or a mere coincidence. Given the timing, it's certainly raised eyebrows. Adding to the tension, Hera Pheri franchise star Suniel Shetty also expressed his disappointment over Rawal's exit. In an interview with ANI, he said, 'It cannot happen without Paresh Rawal. It can have a one per cent chance without me and Akshay, but it can't happen at all without Paresh ji. Raju and Shyam, if they're not hammered by Babu, it doesn't work." Rawal's portrayal of Babu Bhaiya is considered iconic, and fans find it hard to imagine the third installment without his signature wit and charm. While hopes are still alive for a possible reconciliation, the chances of seeing the original trio back together seem slim at the moment. With legal notices flying and social media dissecting every move, the fate of Hera Pheri 3 remains uncertain. First Published:

Fans are betting Bill Belichick breaks up before Cardi B — his love life is now a full-blown market
(Credit: Getty Images) So, we're betting on breakups now. Yes, a prediction platform is taking wagers on whether 72-year-old NFL legend Bill Belichick and his 24-year-old girlfriend Jordon Hudson will split before August. Even better? They're being compared to Cardi B and Stefon Diggs . The market says Belichick's odds of staying cuffed are lower than a wide receiver's route discipline, and Twitter is treating the whole thing like a reality TV subplot. Polymarket opens betting line on Belichick-Hudson breakup and the odds are not in their favor Polymarket, a popular online prediction platform, launched a betting market asking users if Bill Belichick and Jordon Hudson would end their relationship by July 31, 2025. And guess what? At one point, the odds were worse for them than for the wildcard duo of Stefon Diggs and Cardi B, who've been caught in romance rumors since May. That's right. The couple with nearly 50 years between them is now being treated like a walking tabloid bet and apparently, the internet thinks it's not going to last. Fans are reacting like it's fantasy football but for breakups Once the Polymarket trend hit social media, the reactions poured in like Belichick play-calling memes: The idea of betting on NFL romance timelines has fans fully unglued, mostly because Belichick and Hudson have been the least likely pair since day one. They were first spotted publicly after his Patriots exit, and she's now reportedly involved in his media ventures and UNC coaching stint. Bill Belichick's been under the microscope and so has Hudson This isn't the first time their relationship has made headlines. Jordon Hudson has been accused of having 'too much influence' on Belichick's image lately, especially as he takes on a new role in college football. Critics say she's shifting his brand, while defenders argue the age-gap discourse is overblown. Either way, the buzz was already building, the betting market just made it pop. Only in 2025 could an NFL coaching legend's relationship be turned into a trading card-level prediction market. Whether Belichick and Hudson stay together or not, the internet is clearly more invested in their personal life than his playbook. And if you're wondering whether to put money down? Just remember, in the words of Twitter: 'Belichick can handle the Jets, but can he handle Gen Z love?' Also read - Deshaun Watson's wedding gets meme'd: Twitter says 'happy ending' hits different here
