MISSING: 75-year-old man considered at risk, police seek public's help in search
SANDY, Utah () — The is seeking the public's help in the search for a missing man who is considered at risk. A Silver Alert has been issued.
Kenneth Kotoku, 75, was last seen when he left home around 3 p.m. on Saturday. He was last seen wearing a white shirt with a black vest, as well as blue jeans and a black U of U baseball cap. Kenneth is said to be 5'9″ tall, weigh about 150 pounds, and have white hair with brown eyes.
According to police, Kenneth left home driving his silver Honda CR-V with Utah license plate V769FL. Anyone with information about Kenneth's whereabouts has been asked to call Sandy Police at 801-799-3000.
Officials did not immediately share additional details about Kenneth or where he may have been heading.

Roundtop woman killed in crash southwest of Brenham
Brenham, Tx (FOX44) – A 63-year-old woman has died following a fiery crash in rural Washington County southwest of Brenham. The Department of Public Safety reports Rebecca Mayer of Round Top as pronounced dead at a hospital following the crash that occurred about 5:35 p.m. on Farm to Market Road 389 near FM 2502. DPS Sgt Justin Ruiz said Mayer was the driver of a 2023 Kia Soul that as going east on FM 389 when a 2015 Ford F150 pickup going west began a left hand turn, with the Kia striking it in the side. One dead and six hurt in crash near Clifton
Bosque County, Tx (FOX 44) – One person is dead and six injured with two of those critical following a Thursday morning head on collision near Clifton. Department of Public Safety Sgt. Ryan Howard said it happened about 6:00 a.m. on FM 219 near FM 3265 northeast of Clifton. Sgt Howard said the preliminary investigation indicated a Ford Escape was traveling north on FM 219 and crossed into the southbound lane, colliding head on with a Ford Expedition. The driver of the Escape was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest in Waco where he was pronounced dead. All six occupants of the Expedition were transported to other area hospitals, with two of those reported to be in critical condition. The names of the victims were being withheld Thursday morning pending notification of next of kin. FM 219 was closed to all traffic for a time resulting a long back up. Get a text from the "Minnesota DMV"? It's a fake, officials say.
State officials are warning Minnesotans that texts about unpaid traffic tickets are part of a scheme to steal personal information. The Department of Public Safety said the texts purport to be from the "Minnesota Department of Motor Vehicles" or "DPSMN" and request payment, using "threatening language to pressure them into paying." "These messages are not only fraudulent — they're frightening," said Driver and Vehicle Services Director Pong Xiong. "We understand how upsetting it can be to receive multiple threatening messages demanding payment. If you're unsure, please reach out to us directly. We're here to help protect your information and your peace of mind." The agency said not to open any links in these text messages and that it will never request payment or even broach traffic tickets via text. Anyone who has already fallen victim should report it to the FBI. Officials also recommended following these steps: Do not respond to the message or click any links. DPS and DVS will never ask for your information or money by text. Do not give money or personal information. If you think the message might be real, contact DVS through our website at Report the message as junk or spam and delete it.
