Tobey Maguire reunites with ex Jennifer Meyer and daughter in rare photo... 5 years after finalizing divorce
The Spider-Man actor, 49, was pictured reuniting with his former spouse, 48, in rare but sweet photos shared to her Instagram, five years after they finalized their divorce.
In one photo captured at the ceremony, the exes — who also share 16-year-old son Otis — were seen embracing the 18-year-old, who stood between them holding a bouquet of pink roses.
Both parents had big smiles on their faces, with Jennifer — who got engaged to billionaire heir Geoffrey Ogunlesi last year — holding her daughter's diploma from the Crossroads School for Arts & Sciences in Santa Monica, California.
In another snap Ruby was pictured beaming as she stood surrounded by a number of her family members, including her famous dad and jewelry designer mom.
'Congratulations Ruby!!!!! ♥️ Graduate of our dreams. We are so proud of you in every way. We love love love love love you baby♥️' Jennifer wrote in her caption.
Leonardo DiCaprio's close pal opted for a casual cool look for the school event, rocking a grey t-shirt, black sunglasses and a baseball hat.
Jennifer looked chic in a green spaghetti strap dress.
Meanwhile Ruby proudly wore her cap and gown, with one snap showing her at home posing in front of a giant pink ballon sign spelling out her name and graduation year.
Yet another snap saw the mother and daughter posing together and smiling for the camera.
Fashion designer Rachel Zoe commented on Jennifer's post, writing 'We love you RUBY!!!!'
Australian actress Isla Fisher added, 'Wha? That's gone so fast.... Mazel Tov!'
Teen Witch star Mandy Ingber wrote, 'Ruby is gorgeous. And I love seeing Tobey. Xoxoxo congratulations to you. You did it! ❤️❤️❤️ makes me so happy to see.'
Amazon founder Jeff Bezos' fiancée Lauren Sanchez also commented, writing, 'Congratulations sweet girl ❤️❤️❤️.'
Ruby's not the only child of famous parents graduating from Crossroads this year.
Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey's twin sons Darby and Sullivan were also among the 2025 graduates.
Tobey and Jennifer divorced in 2020, ending their nine-year marriage.
They had initially separated in 2016, sharing a statement that read: 'After much soul searching and consideration we have made the decision to separate as a couple. As devoted parents, our first priority remains raising our children together with enduring love, respect and friendship.'
She has since moved on with billionaire heir Geoffrey, who is the son of Nigerian billionaire Adebayo Ogunlesi.
In December, Jennifer was spotted with her fiance and her son during a rare outing together.
The trio were seen shopping for a Christmas tree.
Jennifer and Geoffrey became engaged in September.
'YES!!!' the mom-of-two wrote in the caption of the Instagram snap, along with a black heart emoji, the infinity symbol, and sparkling stars emoji.
Jennifer, whose best pals are Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox, and Geoffrey went red carpet official in November 2023, after dating for several months.
Jen is the daughter Ron Meyer, the cofounder of CAA, and former executive at NBC, COO/President of Universal.
Her red carpet debut with Geoffrey came seven years after she split from Tobey, and three years after she filed for divorce.
Meanwhile Tobey was spotted getting cozy with 22-year-old Danish model Mona Tougaard a month after Meyer announced her engagement.
Last summer he was linked to a string of young ladies while vacationing in Europe and New York City.
Jennifer and Tobey met in 2003 while he was shooting Seabiscuit. They were engaged three years later, and welcomed their daughter Ruby in November 2006.
They went on to marry the following year, and welcomed their second child, son Otis, in 2009.
Meyer has credited 'angel' Gwyneth Paltrow for her amicable divorce from the actor.
Paltrow, 51 was widely ridiculed for announcing her divorce from Coldplay star Chris Martin, 47, as a 'conscious uncoupling' in 2014.
But Meyer said the actress' amicable split helped her navigate her own divorce from Maguire.
Speaking on the Broad Ideas podcast, jewelry designer Meyer said: 'Right when Tobey and I were starting to break up, I watched what Gwyneth Paltrow was starting to do with Chris — this conscious uncoupling that everyone was making fun of.'
'I got to see it firsthand, and it was the most beautiful thing that I had ever witnessed two human beings go through. She was so loving and kind and open to him and she created this family.'
'I was like, "Wow, that's not what I was taught growing up. I was taught that divorce was ugly … bad and would never be good."'
Meyer asked Paltrow: 'How did you do that? Please, what do I do? Because we're just starting to break up, and it's feeling very scary. … How can we come together for [these] human[s] we both created that we love? What do we do?'
Meyer added that Paltrow introduced her to Dr. Habib Sadeghi: 'She didn't tell me their process, she didn't tell me anything.'
Meyer said she had 'hit the jackpot of ex-husbands' with Maguire and added the pair were still 'best friends' years after their divorce.

Kristin Davis reveals Sarah Jessica Parker confronted her about eating disorder and 'starving' herself on set
Kristin Davis is opening up about the intense body image pressures she faced while filming HBO's Sex and the City. On the latest episode of her Are You a Charlotte? podcast, the actress, 60, reflected on navigating criticism about her appearance during the show's 1998–2004 run. She admitted to having what she called a 'thinness issue' at the height of the series' success. 'There were times when Sarah Jessica would be like, "You have body dysmorphia." And I'd be like, I don't think I do because the world is literally telling me daily that I am pear shaped,' Davis said. 'Like so much to the point where, like, you can't think straight.' The Emmy nominee said the criticism led to unhealthy habits. 'But then you also have disordered eating. You're starving yourself,' she shared, recalling that she once fainted in a parking lot due to 'some crazy diet' she was on. Davis went on to explain that her self-esteem, at the time, was also derailed by back-handed compliments from fans out in public. 'There was a good number of years when… people would see me on the street and they would say, "Oh, but you're not fat." And I know they didn't mean anything bad. They mean it as a compliment, right? But it's because I'm standing next to Sarah Jessica. Or, "You're prettier in person." And I'm just like, well, okay.' While Davis is actually a few inches taller than her co-star — 5'6' compared to Parker's 5'3' — she alluded that the comparisons had nothing to do with height and everything to do with how their bodies were perceived on screen. 'There's like a weird cynicism about our industry and about us that then permeates the thinking,' she concluded. In 2023, Davis confessed that it is difficult being 'confronted with' her 'younger self at all times.' 'It's a challenge to remember that you don't have to look like that. The internet wants you to — but they also don't want you to. They're very conflicted,' she told The Telegraph. She also reflected on how she has done fillers that have looked 'good' and some that haven't over the years. 'I've had to get them dissolved and I've been ridiculed relentlessly. And I have shed tears about it. It's very stressful,' Davis stated. The actress also noted that 'people personally blame' performers 'when it goes wrong' versus 'the doctor who did the work.' 'No one told me it didn't look good for the longest time,' she added. 'But, luckily I do have good friends, who did say eventually. The thing is you don't smile at yourself in the mirror. Who smiles at themselves in the mirror? Crazy people.' Since wrapping Sex and the City and, more recently, its spinoff And Just Like That, after three seasons, Davis has remained close friends with Parker. In February, Davis revealed Parker 'was going to put me on a dating app.' 'Dating's tough as a single mom. My friends feel that I should be dating, because life is short,' she explained. 'I'm like, "Sarah Jessica, I will kill you.' I was like, 'Do not!"' Despite Park's attempt to make a profile for her, the star shut down the idea. 'I just don't meet that many people, I guess. And I'm super focused on the kids and it's hard to date with the kids. I've tried. I mean, it's tough,' she said. 'It's not like I'm not open to it. I just don't, I'm not actively pursuing it. Let's put it that way. But you kind of, at some point, I guess you have to do [it].' Davis adopted her daughter, Gemma Rose, in 2011, and son Wilson, in 2018. While actively putting herself out there, the Deadly Illusions alum admitted 'it never went well.' Due to her Southern upbringing in South Carolina, Davis said she was 'brought up to be kind of aggressively nice' and that has given some men the wrong idea. 'People don't understand that and they're confused,' she said. 'Like, why is this person being so nice to me? And in dating, that can be tough because then they think it's a go and you're just like, "No, what gave you that impression?"'

EDEN CONFIDENTIAL: Nicole's hit musical loses producers £4.5million
Acclaimed for her performance as faded film star Norma Desmond, former Pussycat Dolls singer Nicole Scherzinger has, however, failed to help make any money for the producers of Sunset Blvd on Broadway. A producer of Andrew Lloyd Webber 's musical, which closed in July after a ten-month run, has made the staggering revelation that it lost $6million (£4.5million) despite playing to packed houses and closing weeks seeing box-office takings of $1.9million. 'It was the hit show and winner of the season, but still lost around 40 per cent of its total investment, which was some $15million, including the director Jamie Lloyd's stake of $4million,' JJ Powell tells me. 'The figures are astonishing and sadly seem to be a recurring theme for shows that transfer to Broadway from the West End.' Cabaret at the Kit Kat Club, also on Powell's production roster, which has been a roaring success in London, is scheduled to close in October on Broadway with a projected total write-off loss of $25million (£18.5million). 'With operational costs through the roof, management difficulties, unions and the obsession to go for gold, as well as star-studded casts, ticket prices are soaring, leaving the average citizen unable to access entertainment which should be for the masses,' Powell says. 'The elite 1 per cent celebrity makes a great payday, while the rest of the actors are looking to new careers and the theatregoer is prohibitively pushed out the door. Sadly, also, if you are not in the top 1 per cent of the production ladder, there is little sway to be had.' Powell's Tony and Olivier-award winning company, Neptune Productions, staged hit shows including Merrily We Roll Along with Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe. He tells me profit cheques for the productions have also been slow. He says of Broadway: 'The system is broken, and if we don't fix it soon and take a positive stand, there will be no theatre left to produce – and certainly few artists willing to continue the struggle.' My bad-boy rehab's shut, says Moorish Lisa Moorish, who has children with hard-living rock stars Liam Gallagher and Pete Doherty, declares of her personal life nowadays: 'My rehab for broken boys is closed for good.' The singer says: 'One of my big problems is that I was a little Florence Nightingale. 'When you have self-esteem issues, you don't make the greatest choices in relationships.' Lisa, 53, adds: 'I had some promiscuous years in my 20s and I'm not ashamed of that. 'Now, I'm just interested in meeting a man for coffee. I'm on one [dating] app but I get nervous about apps as, obviously, it can be used to sleep around. 'But I'm not interested in that.' We're not here to judge, Bob! Tipped to succeed John Torode as a judge on MasterChef, Robert Walton clearly has a thirst for success. Known as the 'godfather of hospitality', restaurateur and hotelier Walton, 69, was served a glass of 2006 La Tache red wine from a bottle that cost £175,000. It was poured by Prince Harry's old friend Alex Rayner, who was a fellow judge at the Young Chef Waiter Mixologist England 2025 final at Alba restaurant in Knightsbridge. 'I enjoy what I do,' Walton tells me. 'It's about supporting tomorrow's talent... we've upped the game this year.' Heartbroken following her split from Bridgerton co-star Sam Phillips, Bessie Carter reveals she's taking the healing process very seriously. The daughter of acting royalty Dame Imelda Staunton and Jim Carter has undergone somatic healing and embodiment – a spiritual form of therapy said to aid trauma healing – and is so impressed with the results, she's planning to become a practitioner. Bessie, 31, explains. 'I was in acute pain, having personal-life issues and not being in the right situations. My body really did hold the score.' Yee-hol! Cowboy chic for Trinny and her mini on Colorado trip Yeehaw! What Not To Wear presenter Trinny Woodall and her daughter showed how to dress like the locals while on holiday. The pair are in Colorado so, naturally, they unleashed their inner cowgirls. The beauty entrepreneur, 61, and Lyla Elichaoff, 21, donned cowboy hats as they set off to explore Dunton Hot Springs, a 19th-century ghost town. 'There's nothing like a Western dress-up in the right surroundings and using what you've got,' says Trinny, who used to deliver withering wardrobe verdicts on the hit BBC show. School's out for summer, as US rocker Alice Cooper bellowed in his 1972 classic. But that doesn't mean that all is silent at the John Madejski Academy – opened in 2008 after Sir John donated £3million to build it one of the poorest parts of Reading. Last month, I revealed that a proposal to erase Madejski's name from the school – now run by the Greenshaw Learning Trust – had aroused fury in the town. Now I can disclose a complaint has been made to Ofsted alleging that the re-naming will squander £100,000 of public money. Greenshaw Learning Trust declines to comment. Now giddily in love with American singer Billy Ray Cyrus, Elizabeth Hurley has spoken about her emotional reunion with the family of her late former fiance Shane Warne. The actress and model, 60, travelled to Melbourne last year for the first time since the Australian cricket star's sudden death in 2022. 'We knew it was going to be a very traumatic trip, so we [made it] an opportunity to get some closure in other ways,' Liz tells the Travel Secrets podcast. 'Going back was bittersweet. I got very upset, but then I was glad that I went.' Currently starring as a grandmother in Freakier Friday, the sequel to the 2003 film Freaky Friday, Jamie Lee Curtis recalls how she had to starve herself 'to look cute in my underwear' in Perfect, in which she played a gym instructor. Asked what she most recalls about the 1985 film, in which she starred opposite John Travolta, she sighs: 'Not eating. I was not free then.'

Travis Kelce reveals he had therapy in college after getting suspended from football over drugs scandal
Travis Kelce was mandated to attend therapy sessions as part of his reinstatement to college football after getting suspended due to drug usage, the current NFL tight end has revealed. The Kansas City Chiefs star opened up about the unknown part of the conditions set forth by Cincinnati's football program after his marijuana violation, which caused him to miss the 2010 Sugar Bowl - a rare chance at a high-level bowl game for the Bearcats. Travis' older brother and fellow Bearcat alumnus, Jason Kelce, vouched for Travis to be reinstated into the program, with other conditions previously known, such as not missing a class and holding a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher. 'I had to sit down with a shrink for an hour a week,' Kelce told GQ. He got me to look at my life way more strategically. He got me to understand that you go through these emotions, and your reaction can either help you or hurt you or be indifferent.' 'He walked me through all these different phases of my life. "How did this make you feel? How did you react?" I started to understand and process these emotions completely differently. You start to control it and not let it get too crazy.' Kelce previously opened up about his suspension to Daily Mail at this year's Super Bowl, which also took place in New Orleans, where the Sugar Bowl is held annually. Kelce managed to get his place on team back and turned his football career around to become one of the NFL's greatest-ever tight ends. However, he admitted the incident left a mark. 'I think it was a very emotional and meaningful thing that happened to me back in college and I brought that all on myself. I think it was just me not living up to my family's expectations and that was probably the biggest thing. 'Bringing negativity to them was probably the hardest part for me. Outside of that, I always knew I was going to find a way to figure things out and it wasn't the end of the world for me.' Kelce has revealed more details about his college life surrounding the incident in the past, discussing it on the 'Bussin' With the Boys' podcast in July 2023. He admitted that he 'partied a little too much down there [New Orleans], got hit with a drug test and from that point on, I realized I've got to tighten the f*** up.' Then, in a tell-all interview with The Athletic last year, Kelce's former college roommate Zach Collaros recalled his mom accidentally walking in on the Chiefs star lighting up a joint during his suspension. 'My mom visited one time,' said Collaros. 'This was when Travis was suspended. She doesn't like going to the games so she just stayed behind and cleaned the house, which is a story in and of itself. 'She smells something and walks downstairs in the basement and it's Trav — smoking a joint. She goes: 'Travis, aren't you suspended for this?!?' Kelce admitted he 'partied too much' in the Big Easy before being kicked off the Bearcats team 'He goes: 'Hey Momma Collaros, it's all right. When are we going to the game?' And they walked to the game together.' Travis confirmed the story was an accurate one on his New Heights podcast, having told his ex-college buddies to speak freely about their experience together in the piece. 'I made sure to tell them don't hold back, tell all the good stories,' he insisted. 'And sure enough they mentioned all the really good ones, like Zach's mom walking in on me firing up in the garage before one of the games. 'Absolutely hilarious. That's how I was living back then.' It's safe to say Travis got his life back on the right track, now dating Taylor Swift, who is set to appear on 'New Heights' for the first time on Wednesday evening.
