Ballon d'Or 2025: Achraf Hakimi's agent sets the record straight

Achraf Hakimi Tensions have been running high at PSG in recent days between Achraf Hakimi, Ousmane Dembélé, and the French club's fans over the 2025 Ballon d'Or. The Moroccan's agent has stepped in to cool things down. Until September 22, the race for the Ballon d'Or promises to be fierce between Achraf Hakimi and Ousmane Dembélé. After Hakimi's comments a few days ago, his agent has broken his silence regarding alleged tensions with Ousmane Dembélé. Alejandro Camaño made things clear while speaking to Winwinallsport: "Hakimi's last six seasons have all demonstrated that he is a decisive player, winning team trophies at the highest level with Real Madrid, Dortmund, Inter, and now PSG. He embodies the evolution of modern attacking play, where a wide player—defensive by position but offensive by nature—has brought extra power to every team he has played for, including his national team. In my opinion, he is the best player in the world in his position, matching or even surpassing some of the game's historic greats." For Alejandro Camaño, Achraf Hakimi has every reason to chase the 2025 Ballon d'Or: "For Hakimi, it's a source of pride to share with his PSG teammates—and even with his close friend Dembélé—the chance to win this award. All wingers, those who work hard and fight for their teams, should feel represented by him, as they too can aspire to such a major honor. It would be unfair not to recognize the excellence of PSG's work, which has enabled so many of its players to be nominated, thanks to a style of football their coach has elevated by focusing on aesthetics, speed, and ultimately, the beautiful game." Alejandro Camaño concluded with these words: "This year, PSG have raised the aesthetic quality of their football, and fans are delighted to see this team shine across Europe. Hakimi represents a generation of Moroccans who have made great strides on the international stage. And this isn't about Dembélé—it's about football, because so many players bring us joy through the sport we all love: football."

La Liga Soccer: Livestream Every Game of the 2025-26 Season From Anywhere

The race for the Spanish top flight restarts as Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atlético prepare for another fierce title battle in La Liga. Below, we'll outline the best live TV streaming services to use to watch the 2025/26 soccer La Liga season as it happens, wherever you are in the world, and how to use a VPN if the match isn't available there. Handi Flick's first season in charge at FC Barcelona was one to remember, with the German coach guiding the Catalan giants to a domestic double. Unsurprisingly, the Blaugrana haven't made much in the way of major changes to their squad during the summer, with goalkeeper Joan García and highly touted young winger Roony Bardghji joining alongside loan star Marcus Rashford. Barça's eternal rival Real Madrid, by contrast, has entered a new era under the leadership of former Bayer Leverkusen boss Xabi Alonso, who replaced Carlo Ancelotti as head coach. Last season's underwhelming campaign has prompted some big signings to complement the likes of Galácticos Kylian Mbappé, Vinicius Jr. and Jude Bellingham, with Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alvaro Carreras and Dean Huijsen moving to the Bernabeu. Diego Simeone's Atletico Madrid, meanwhile, will be once again hoping to close the gap on the top two, while Athletic Bilbao, Getafe and Villarreal will be looking to build on impressive top-five finishes last term. The new campaign also sees Levante, Elche and Real Oviedo joining from Segunda Division, with the latter making their return to the top flight for the first time in 24 years. The new season kicked off on Aug. 15, with the final fixtures set to played on Sunday, May 24, 2025. Real Madrid and Barcelona have dominated La Liga, winning 36 and 28 titles respectively. IonHow to watch La Liga in the US without cable As with last season, all Spanish top-flight games will be available to stream in the US via ESPN Plus, which has live English- and Spanish-language broadcast rights for La Liga in the US. Select games will also be broadcast on ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, and ESPN Deportes, throughout the season. It's worth noting that ESPN is launching an all-new standalone streaming service later this month. How to watch the La Liga from anywhere with a VPN If you find yourself unable to view La Liga matches locally, you may need a different way to watch the games -- that's where using a VPN can come in handy. A VPN is also the best way to stop your ISP from throttling your speeds on game day by encrypting your traffic, and it's also a great idea if you're traveling and find yourself connected to a Wi-Fi network, and you want to add an extra layer of privacy for your devices and logins. With a VPN, you're able to virtually change your location on your phone, tablet or laptop to get access to the game. Most VPNs, like our Editors' Choice, ExpressVPN, make it really easy to do this. Using a VPN to watch or stream sports is legal in any country where VPNs are legal, including the US, UK and Canada, as long as you have a legitimate subscription to the service you're streaming. You should be sure your VPN is set up correctly to prevent leaks: Even where VPNs are legal, the streaming service may terminate the account of anyone it deems to be circumventing correctly applied blackout restrictions. Having some momentum is good for those looking ahead to the playoffs. Those on the bubble or needing a win to get in — well, they know they need some good fortune in the regular-season finale Saturday at Daytona. This will be the last power rankings for the 2025 season. Starting next week, we will start playoff rankings, ranking drivers based on their chances of winning the title. Dropped out: Christopher Bell (Last Week: 7), Ryan Preece (Last Week: 9) On the verge: Christopher Bell, Austin Cindric, Austin Dillon, Ryan Preece, Tyler Reddick, Shane van Gisbergen 10. Chase Elliott (Last Week: 10) Elliott got collected in an accident on Lap 198, putting him last at Richmond. But he'll stay in these rankings, as the Hendrick driver had a shot to win the regular-season title up until Saturday night. Joey Logano (Last Week: Not Ranked) Logano had a solid night at Richmond with a fourth-place finish. It was his first top five in the last 11 races, but the Team Penske driver does have three top 10s in the last six. 8. Brad Keselowski (Last Week: 8) Keselowski had a relatively quiet day at Richmond with a ninth-place finish. It was the RFK Racing driver's eighth top 10 in his last 13 starts. Alex Bowman (Last Week: Not Ranked) Bowman dropped out of the rankings a week earlier but after nearly winning Richmond, he's back on the list. The Hendrick driver's second-place finish gives him four top 10s (and two top fives) in his last five starts but his playoff status will come down to Daytona. 6. Bubba Wallace (Last Week: 6) A wheel falling off the Wallace car ruined a potentially great day as he had led 123 laps and finished second in the first stage and first in the second stage. At least the 23XI Racing driver knows he had speed. Bubba Wallace greets fans as he walks on stage during driver intros prior to Richmond 5. Denny Hamlin (Last Week: 4) Hamlin had a rough day on pit road and finished 10th at Richmond. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver had five top fives in his nine previous starts, but this stopped some of the bleeding from a pair of finishes outside the top 20 entering Richmond. 4. And while he might have hoped for more, the Hendrick driver at least had a solid result after a pair of finishes outside the top 25. 2. William Byron (Last Week: 2) Byron finished 12th at Richmond but clinched the regular-season title. So it was one of the best 12th-place finishes of the Hendrick driver's career. William Byron clinched the regular-season title at Richmond 1. Ryan Blaney (Last Week: 1) Blaney retained the top spot with a third-place finish at Richmond. It was the fifth consecutive finish of eighth or better for the Team Penske driver. Bob Pockrass covers NASCAR and INDYCAR for FOX Sports.
