Hyeri in talks for romance drama Dreaming of You with Hwang In Yeop after Lee Yoo Mi exits, know plot and character details

Actress Lee Hyeri may soon return to the small screen in a new romance drama. On July 24, Korean media outlet Sports World revealed that the Reply 1988 star is currently reviewing an offer to lead the upcoming series Dreaming of You. If she accepts, this will be her next project following her appearance in Friendly Rivalry, which wrapped up earlier this year.
Dreaming of You plot
Dreaming of You is a romantic comedy that delicately intertwines the journeys of two individuals navigating different stages of life. At the heart of the story is Lee Jae, a reporter whose life unfolds across three pivotal decades. In her teenage years, she was bold and brimming with ambition, fearlessly chasing a dream that once defined her.
However, as she stepped into her twenties, reality began to weigh heavily. Ambitions clashed with limitations, and idealism gave way to disillusionment. Now in her thirties, Lee Jae finds herself in a life that feels quietly unremarkable. She settled into a routine that lacks the spark she once had, prompting her to question whether she's truly living or merely surviving.
In contrast stands Su Bin, a film director whose younger years were carefully orchestrated by his parents. As a teenager, he lived under the expectations and plans of others, never truly knowing what he wanted for himself. But in his twenties, Su Bin began to carve his own path. He broke free from the life others designed for him and pursued a dream of his own. By the time he reached his thirties, he had accomplished the very goal that once seemed distant.
The drama is written by Im Me Ri, the screenwriter known for crafting emotionally resonant stories, such as The Beauty Inside and Doom at Your Service. Her works often focus on characters grappling with their inner worlds. And Dreaming of You appears to be continuing in that vein.
About Hyeri and Hwang In Yeop's offered roles
Hyeri has been offered the role of Lee Jae, a reporter in her 30s. Once someone who was filled with passion and fearlessness in her youth, she now navigates adulthood with a sense of stagnation. Reports suggest that actor Hwang In Yeop is being considered for the role of Su Bin, a young film director.
Meanwhile, actress Lee Yoo Mi was initially eyed for the female lead role but has stepped away from the project for unspecified reasons. This opened the door for Hyeri, who is now the top contender for the role of Lee Jae.
Hyeri and Hwang In Yeop yet to confirm roles
Despite the buzz surrounding the potential cast, no official confirmations have been made by either Hyeri's or Hwang In Yeop's agencies. Both stars are still reviewing their respective offers. The production team has yet to release a finalized cast list.

BTS J-Hope's Sister Jung Ji-woo Slams ‘Pregnancy' Rumours: ‘Getting Out Of Hand'

Ji-woo, who has been married since 2021, has previously shared that she and her husband are planning to start a family. BTS member J-Hope's sister, Jung Ji-woo, has taken a strong stand against invasive and inappropriate social media comments regarding her personal life. The influencer and entrepreneur recently called out a section of internet users for spreading baseless rumours about her pregnancy and questioning her choices, calling the situation 'out of hand." In a pointed message shared via Instagram Stories, Ji-woo highlighted one particularly offensive comment that read in Korean, 'Aren't you pregnant? Or you lost the baby? There is no bump and you are wearing tight clothes and doing exercise," accompanied by a sad emoji. Shocked by the unsolicited speculation, she responded, '…? Was about to reply, but the comment disappeared. We're trying for a baby, but there's nothing to share yet. Still, I'm honestly shocked that someone I don't even know could ask such a personal and inappropriate question about our private life. Even my close friends wouldn't go there." She continued to express her frustration at the baseless rumours swirling around her. 'When did I ever say 'I'm pregnant'? I've said nothing, but some people here are making up stories like they're confirmed facts. Now it's gone from 'she's pregnant' to 'she had a miscarriage' to 'she's out drinking'? Seriously?" Ji-woo added, 'I've been ignoring it because it's so far from the truth, but it's getting out of hand. Show some respect, please." Ji-woo, who has been married since 2021, has previously shared that she and her husband are planning to start a family. In a March 2025 chat with her younger brother J-Hope, she openly talked about wanting a baby, a moment that was met with warmth and excitement. J-Hope had said at the time, 'If it's a nephew, I anticipate having so much fun with him," and added that he'd spoil a niece with gifts. Lee Dahae's Pink Summer Glow-Up & Power Couple Goals: The K-Drama Life Young Women Love!

Lee Dahae's Pink Summer Fashion First: Dahae's Pink Summer Formula Summer in Seoul can be blazing, but Lee Dahae keeps things cool and charming with her dreamy pink look. During her "Shinlang School" shoot, she wore a sleeveless pastel pink knit with a chiffon maxi skirt-a style that blended comfort, sophistication, and a whimsical, vintage feel. Minimal accessories? Check-a ribbon-tied rattan bag, loose wavy hair, and a barely-there makeup look (peachy lips and a natural glow). Simple, refreshing, and made for real life. The magic is in her subtleties: instead of bold prints or heavy jewelry, Dahae trusts in gentle hues and airy fabrics, letting her personality do the talking. "Pretty" isn't about sparkle, it's about the right mood. Power Couple Energy: Marriage, Mandarin & Cross-Border Stardom Dahae's not just a fashion icon-she's living relationship dreams many admire. Born in 1984, she married singer Se7en on May 6, 2023, after eight years of dating. Their wedding was K-drama come to life, star-studded and flooded with well-wishes, echoing the glitz and feels of a Bollywood blockbuster. But this story goes further. Dahae is a fluent Mandarin speaker-rare for a Korean celebrity-and has carved a second career in Shanghai's entertainment and business world. She's starred in Mandarin dramas, naturally debatably outshining many who need dubbing, and more recently, became a senior adviser at a Chinese live-commerce firm, helping introduce Korean brands to a new audience. From acting to commerce, from Seoul to Shanghai, she adapts, innovates, and inspires, especially to young fans dreaming global dreams. Style Secrets Decoded: The Dahae Formula For Standing Out You don't need K-drama budgets to channel Dahae's glow. Here's what young Indian women can borrow from her look: Pastel Power: Pale pinks, baby blues, and soft lavenders flatter most Indian skin tones. Skip neon for summer-friendly pastels. Breezy Fabrics: Lightweight cottons, voile, and chiffon are life-savers in humid weather. Mimic Dahae's maxi skirts for an ethereal vibe-pair them with easy tanks or sleeveless knits. Minimal Accessories: One unique bag or a simple ribbon in the hair often trumps a pile of jewelry. Keep the look focused. Natural Hair and Makeup: Let your hair fall naturally, add soft waves if you can. Pick blush and lip shades that accentuate your features, not overshadow them. Play with Volume: Flowy skirts-like Dahae's-bring drama without heat. Balance with a fitted top for proportion. Glow Up Like Dahae: Tips For Indian Youth To Stand Out Mix Tradition & Trend: Combine modern silhouettes with traditional prints or jewelry-think a chiffon skirt with chunky silver Jhumkas. Color Play: Choose your outfit base according to the event. Brighten things up for daytime (pastels, whites) and go deeper-toned for evenings (mauve, indigo). Confidence is Key: Fashion isn't just about clothes, it's attitude. Walk tall, smile, and let your personality shine-just like Dahae does in her shoots. Adapt Local: Don't hesitate to swap the skirt for wide-leg palazzos or a kurta set in summer-friendly pastels.

BTS Jin moved by ARMY learning Korean, shares why he avoids hand contact at shows

BTS member Jin made history as the first and only Asian solo artist to sell out a solo concert at London's iconic O2 Arena on August 5. Preparing to conclude the UK leg of his 'Run Seokjin Ep Tour' with a second consecutive sold-out show at the venue, he was met with an enthusiastic reception from the 20,000 fans in the performance, Jin was taken aback to realise that many fans were able to understand his Korean remarks even before the interpreter translated them. Curious and impressed, he asked if ARMY had started learning Korean because of BTS, and was pleasantly surprised when the crowd responded that fans were reacting directly to his comments without waiting for an English translation, he asked, 'Does anyone speak Korean here?' When fans confirmed, he added, 'Earlier when I was talking and singing, it seemed about 10 per cent of you understood me. Did you start learning Korean because of us?' Following a resounding 'yes', he expressed his gratitude. In a livestream after the concert, Jin spoke about why he had stopped the high-five tradition he had maintained during earlier shows on the tour. He explained that on several occasions, rather than a simple touch, some fans had grabbed onto him tightly, which caused him to lean dangerously towards the crowd. Despite asking fans to be gentle, the issue persisted, and for safety reasons, he decided to stop all hand contact and instead focus on the Moon introduction sing-along the potential security risks, he shared, 'After being pulled several times, I became scared and couldn't carry on with the hand-touching. I just thought, if something were to go wrong because of me, I'd feel absolutely awful. Even though the fans genuinely wanted that moment of contact, I feel truly, truly sorry.'Jin is set to conclude his solo tour on August 10 and will then reunite with the other BTS members to work on their upcoming group comeback album.- EndsMust Watch
