Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship is still going strong amid engagement and wedding rumors. While their fans eagerly await the NFL star to pop the question, a source recently claimed that the day might come soon. Travis Kelce's support for Taylor Swift during dad's surgery strengthened their love, 'source' claims
Travis Kelce has seemingly been by Taylor Swift's side during the surgery of her dad, Scott Swift. This week, the 73-year-old father underwent quintuple bypass surgery on his heart and is now recovering well. During the period, the singer became the backbone of her family and stayed in the hospital. According to the Daily Mail, a source stated that the Kansas City Chiefs tight end 'went into total caregiver mode' for the Swift family.
From keeping tabs on his girlfriend's meals to checking in on Scott's well-being, Kelce became Swift's support system. Therefore, the insider believes that their love has now become 'unbreakable,' after the couple faced 'their first crisis together.' 'Travis was doing everything right. If Taylor wasn't ready to marry him before, she sure is now,' they added.
Kelce and Swift reportedly share a close bond with the family members. While the athlete seemingly calls the pop star's father 'Big Scott,' she has formed a good relationship with his family during their visit to Philadelphia on Mother's Day.
Meanwhile, the power couple has been surrounded by engagement rumors for a while. Earlier, reports claimed that Swift's fans' expectations around the marriage proposal had overwhelmed Kelce, and thus, he postponed the idea. However, the pair has not shied away from flaunting their PDA-filled romance.
From date nights to attending games together, they have been spotted as a couple several times. Swift even accompanied her boyfriend to the Tight End University (TEU) summit in Nashville. Many photos and videos of their intimate moments from the event made the rounds on the internet.

Brewers rally past Mets 7-4 for 8th straight win, spoiling Alonso's record-tying homer

MILWAUKEE (AP) — William Contreras homered to cap a four-run seventh inning and the Milwaukee Brewers rallied past the skidding New York Mets 7-4 on Saturday for their eighth consecutive victory, spoiling Pete Alonso's record-tying night. Alonso opened the second inning with his 252nd career home run, matching the franchise record held by Darryl Strawberry for 37 years. But the Mets lost their sixth straight game and 10th in the last 11 to fall 4 1/2 games behind first-place Philadelphia in the NL East. New York is only 2 1/2 games ahead of Cincinnati for the final National League playoff spot. Juan Soto went deep for the third game in a row, giving the Mets a 4-3 lead when he led off the fifth with his 28th homer of the season. Starling Marte also hit a solo shot for New York. ___ AP MLB:

CeeDee Lamb gets tackled by official during Cowboys-Rams game

Like a Lamb to the ... referee? Dallas Cowboys wideout CeeDee Lamb wasn't dressed for Saturday's preseason matchup vs. the Los Angeles Rams, but that doesn't mean he was out of the action entirely. In the second quarter, on a deep pass from Cowboys backup Joe Milton to wide receiver Jonathan Mingo, Lamb turned his back on the sideline to celebrate Mingo potentially catching a bomb from the passer. Instead of Mingo catching the ball, Lamb caught a shoulder from the referee directly to the back, wiping out both in the mashup. Lamb was flagged on the play for interfering with the referee: The thick white out-of-bounds border is strictly ref territory, so any contact with an official in that area results in a flag. While there was a foul, there was no harm, however. Lamb and the Cowboys sideline had a good laugh about the ordeal. The Cowboys would also salvage the drive, notching a field goal. It's preseason for everyone, after all. This article originally appeared on USA TODAY: CeeDee Lamb gets trucked by referee during Cowboys-Rams

Max Kepler has go-ahead hit as Phillies beat Rangers 3-2 and hand deGrom his 3rd loss in a row

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Max Kepler had a go-ahead two-run double and the NL East-leading Philadelphia Phillies beat the Texas Rangers 3-2, handing All-Star right-hander Jacob deGrom his third consecutive loss Saturday night. The Phillies went ahead 2-1 after Brandon Marsh had a one-out single in the seventh, Harrison Bader walked and both scored on Kepler's hit into the right-field corner. Bryson Stott greeted reliever Danny Coulombe with an RBI single. Philadelphia lefty Jesús Luzardo (11-5) struck out four and walked one in six innings. The only run he allowed was when Wyatt Langford had the Rangers' third consecutive single in the first. Jhoan Duran, their third reliever, worked a perfect ninth for his third save in as many chances since being acquired from Minnesota at the July 31 trade deadline. He has 19 saves overall. DeGrom (10-5) struck out eight and walked one in 6 2/3 innings. He had allowed five runs in each of his previous two starts, part of a career-worst streak when he gave up homers in six consecutive games. The last time he lost three starts in a row was early 2019 with the New York Mets, the season he won his second consecutive NL Cy Young Award. Corey Seager scored both Texas runs. He had the first hit in the first inning, and led off the eighth with his 17th homer. Key moment Rangers slugger Adolis García got thrown out trying to steal third base in the fourth inning right before Jake Burger had a single that likely would have made it 2-0. García had safely dived back into second base on a pickoff move by Luzardo after his one-out double. Key stat The Phillies are 30-13 when scoring at least two runs in road games. Up next Zack Wheeler (9-5, 2.64 ERA) tries to reach 10 wins for the fifth consecutive season with the Phillies in the series finale Sunday. Left-hander Patrick Corbin (6-7, 3.91) goes for Texas. ___ AP MLB:
