Abbey Clancy and husband Peter Crouch 'sobbing' over relationship
Model Abbey Clancy opens up about her 'fifth' baby, getting emotional about her marriage to ex-footie star Peter - and why their hilarious and candid podcast is like 'therapy'
There's nothing Abbey Clancy enjoys more than entertaining the nation with her often hilarious – and intimate – insights into her marriage to retired footballer Peter Crouch. The couple have been married for 14 years this month and together for almost 20, and their refreshing mix of brutal honesty and genuine affection on their The Therapy Crouch podcast has turned them into one of the nation's most-loved celebrity couples.
Off air, Abbey, 39, tells OK! they're no different – and she loves their chaotic life with their children Sophia, 14, Liberty, 10, Johnny, seven, and Jack, six. In this exclusive chat with OK! to celebrate her latest fashion collaboration, the 2013 Strictly champ reveals what brought her and Peter, 44, to tears recently, and who she thinks will win the battle over another baby…
Hi Abbey! Your podcast forces you to put yourselves out there... any regrets?
No! I'm so grateful for it – it gives us a chance to sit down and reminisce, talk about our life and the things we've been through, and have a laugh at the same time. What is it about you and Peter that keeps people tuning in – and loving you? It's authentic. None of our friends listen to the podcast because they say they get enough of us anyway, because that's totally who we are!
I'm actually glad about that though, it means we can talk about them all on the podcast and they'll never know! When we decided to do it we said it has to be unfiltered and real, and if you look at anything in life, the things that are authentic are the things that last, and work. It's like therapy for us because it's a great way to connect and talk about life, experiences and memories.
That's a lovely bonus!
Yes. We just did something on '16 questions to make you fall in love all over again' and Pete and I were both sobbing, because it was just lovely. Life is stressful enough and so many people are going through awful things, so if we can make them laugh for 45 minutes, that's great.
Does it bother you that so much is written about you from the podcast?
Well, it's very inconsistent, isn't it? One minute we're living separate lives and the next we're having a fifth baby! I don't read the stories though, I only learn about them when I get a call from a relative asking, 'Are you and Pete splitting up?' or 'Are you having another baby?'
You've done a festival edit for F&F – we didn't know you were a festival lover...
Oh, I love a festival! We both do. Our friends John and Caroline [Giddings] organise the Isle of Wight Festival and we have a fantastic time. And of course, I also want to look great, hence the edit. You look amazing in the pieces… Ah, thank you. It was about choosing pieces that anyone could wear, and look and feel great in. I personally hate being cold, so there are some good layering items. I wanted it to be quite ageless, too. When I got a big box delivered, my mum and Sophia were after all the pieces!
As a model, are you aware of messages about body confidence in your house?
Yes, I'm very positive around the kids. They're told every day that they're healthy, strong, kind and beautiful. Sophia is literally like a supermodel now – she's taller than me and her skin is just golden. I've got a healthy attitude to getting older. I'm grateful for each day on this planet – I try to eat well and look after myself.
What would you say if Sophia wanted to follow in your modelling footsteps?
Well, I've only had a positive experience so if she wanted to do it, that would be fine. But she's very sporty – she's really determined with her tennis, so who knows. It's your kids' birthday season at the moment.
Is life particularly busy?
Yes! It was Liberty's birthday the other day, and Jack's just turned six. Liberty wants to be a popstar, so she got an electric ukelele, an amplifier and a microphone.
What's best about parenting now?
We're not walking round with two prams and two nappy bags! I love them when they're babies but with my sister and brothers and their partners and kids, we've got a proper ready-made little gang now.
Maybe you don't need a 'fifth baby'?
I'd have 10 kids if I could, but Pete is like, 'absolutely not'. I think he said he'll leave me if I bring another living thing into the house. All the kids are in school now, so I could easily have a newborn, but my husband says 'no way'. Who will get the final word on that? I normally get my way but I don't think I will on this. I've actually just got a lovely new baby who's 18 hands – Enzo, my horse. He's five minutes from the house but I'd like him to live in my garden and sleep in my bed, but that's not possible either!
Have you got a busy summer planned?
Summer for me is just about spending time with the kids because during term-time we're so busy. So on every holiday, whether it's half term or in summer, we want to make the kids happy. Do you and Peter get to have much time to yourselves? We make time. So, we'll get the kids down and watch a movie together, or go out for dinner or on a night away somewhere. But of course, we go away and then complain the whole time that we're missing them!

It comes as the star's EastEnders future was recently revealed BOBBY Brazier has called his dad Jeff a 'rock' in a sweet Father Day's post - after his brother Freddy's rehab U-turn. The EastEnders star, 22, and younger sibling Freddy, 20, are sons of Jeff Brazier and the late Jade Goody. 4 Bobby Brazier shared a sweet Father's Day message on Instagram Credit: Rex 4 He called dad Jeff "a rock" alongside a family snap Credit: Instagram 4 Freddy recently made a U-turn on entering rehab Credit: Getty Taking to Instagram, Bobby shared a photo of himself, Jeff and Freddy stood on a beach, looking out towards the ocean. With the three having their arms around each other in the snap, he captioned: "My dads a rock." It comes as Freddy made a shock U-turn on plans to enter rehab – just days after admitting he's been hooked on smoking since the age of 12. The Celebrity Race Across The World alum shared a dramatic change of heart on Instagram over the weekend. Posting a black and white throwback of himself as a child, Freddy wrote: 'You know what I don't need rehab! I just need a holiday with a good group of boys or a retreat.' Freddy stunned followers when he opened up about a long-standing smoking addiction and a desire to make peace with his dad after a tense family rift. The 20-year-old, revealed he wanted to get help in Spain for cannabis, saying he 'wants a healthy relationship with his dad'. In a heartfelt post, he said: 'I want to be clean so I can life happily and have healthy relationships with people and be there for all of my family rather then feeling like I'm in the middle and have to choose a side.' Freddy also shared hopes of mending things with his famous father, saying: 'I want to play football and take up boxing. I want to be happy and be in a healthy relationship and have a healthy relationship with my Nana and my father.' Elsewhere, elder son Bobby has "become a Hare Krishna" and is "seeking solace" in rituals following mum Jade's death. Freddy Brazier reunites with dad Jeff before heading to rehab in Spain amid concern over gran's 'harmful' influence The former Strictly finalist has become a regular at the Hare Krishna temple in Soho, where he takes part in communal prayers, chants mantras and helps prepare meals. Friends say Bobby's interest in spirituality has grown over the past year and is helping him process the lasting impact of losing his mum to cervical cancer in 2009, when he was just five. A volunteer at the temple told MailOnline: 'He's here every Saturday without fail. He joins our kitchen session, learns the prayers – this isn't a gimmick.' A family friend added: 'Bobby had a difficult life. His mum dying left a mark on him, as it would. "Hare Krishna is somewhere he seeks solace. It might seem strange, but for him, it works.' Last year, The Sun published images of Bobby joining in cha-cha-chanting at a Hare Krishna gathering on Oxford Street, where he was even seen handing out leaflets. Bobby said of the movement: 'I've had the blessing of meeting some incredible devotees who have really taken me under the wing and been really merciful upon me. "And they are just the most beautiful, happy, content, smart, intelligent people.' The young actor will also soon be leaving his EastEnders role as Freddie Slater. Inside Bobby Brazier's burgeoning TV career Bobby Brazier has risen through the ranks to become a well known face on British TV. As the son of Jade Goody and Jeff Brazier, he has been well-known amongst the public from a young age. Bobby first embarked on a showbiz career when he was just 16-years old when he started modelling. The star made his catwalk debut in 2020 at Milan Fashion Week, but it wasn't long before he had his eyes on a TV career. He shot to prominence in 2022 when he was cast as Freddie Slater in EastEnders. The incredibly acting skills displayed on screen earned him the National Television Award in the 'Rising Star' category. His famous dad was in tears as Bobby accepted the award on stage in front of the likes of Holly Willoughby and Alison Hammond. It wasn't long before BBC bosses wanted him to take part in the 21st series of Strictly Come Dancing. He clearly impressed the viewers with his dancing skills as he made the grand final and was a runner-up. Since then, viewers were delighted when he returned to his role in the long-running BBC One soap. An EastEnders spokeswoman said: 'We can confirm that Bobby Brazier will be leaving EastEnders, and we wish him all the best for the future.' A telly insider revealed: 'Bosses had a meeting with Bobby only recently as they had a plan in mind for a storyline, and it just so happened that Bobby was also thinking that now was the right time to look for other opportunities outside the show. 'The timing of the decision worked for both, but his final scenes are not for a while yet. 'The character has had a great run, but the time is now right for Bobby to look for other opportunities, and for EastEnders to wave goodbye to Freddie Slater.'

Soccer Aid forced to apologise as Tyson Fury drops F-bomb on live TV
Soccer Aid 2025 got off to a rather chaotic start thanks to Tyson Fury's potty mouth. The former professional boxer joins a lineup of major celebrities taking part in this year's event to raise money for UNICEF. Playing for England are the likes of Louis Tomlinson, Jill Scott, Jermain Defoe, Sir Mo Farah, and Steven Bartlett, with Paddy McGuinness in goal. They're facing off against World XI, which comprises Big Zuu, Dermot Kennedy, Tony Bellew, and Gorka Márquez, to name a few. Tyson, meanwhile, is on the management team for England alongside Wayne Rooney. An enthusiastic Manchester United fan, he has declared his pride to welcome England to Old Trafford for the game, which is his club's home ground. Although it seems all that excitement got the better of him ahead of kick-off. This led to presenters Alex Scott and Dermot O'Leary apologising to viewers, as the star dropped an F-bomb. Captured in the training room ahead of the teams taking to the pitch, Tyson gave England a motivational speech. During the talk, he told the players: 'We are f***ing Spartans.' Host Alex, 40, then told audiences at home: 'We do apologise for the swearing. 'It's Tyson; we don't know what's going to happen.' Plenty of viewers saw the funny side of things, with @TJ_DCFC then joking on X: 'Well that's Tyson Fury never being allowed back to Soccer Aid ever again'. 'Tyson Fury dropping the F Bomb at 6:30pm on a Sunday afternoon', wrote @Miss_Terreh, followed by a crying laughing emoji. @96_Mikeys blasted those complaining about his language, urging them to 'grow up', adding: 'God forbid Tyson Fury swearing on Soccer Aid, and people moaning and groaning already!' Fortunately, commentators Jason Manford and Sam Matterface also kept it light when they brought the incident back up later on. Before the players left the tunnel, comedian Jason quipped: 'They've taken the microphone off Tyson.' Sam added that while his earlier speech was 'explicit-laden,' Tyson had 'good intentions'. He also recalled Tyson's promise not to use his 'hands or feet' for the duration of the game while watching from the sidelines. But, as you might have guessed, Tyson went on to swear another time. Midway through the game, Alex checked in with him, asking whether England's strong performance thus far was down to his management. He laughed, saying he had merely been standing in the box, screaming, shouting, and 's**t like that'. Upon being announced as a Soccer Aid coach this year, Tyson said: 'ENGLAND MANAGER! Who would ever have thought it!? 'I have had some big fights in my career, and the prospect of leading my England team to victory this June fills me with just as much excitement as any heavyweight fight! 'Everyone knows that I am a huge Manchester United fan too, so it's even more special for me that the game is at Old Trafford this year—and I get to manage one of my heroes, Wayne Rooney! 'How can we lose!? The work UNICEF does all around the world is so special and so important. 'I really hope that you can come along and support us this summer.' Co-manager Rooney also plays in the match, having scored England's first goal this time. The pair were assisted in England's coaching journey by Harry Redknapp and actress Vicky McClure, while former goalkeeper David James acted as the goalkeeping coach. Joining them on the side of the pitch is Sam Thompson, who was due to play but was withdrawn due to injuries. The podcaster and reality star raised over £2million for UNICEF last week by running and cycling 260 miles in five days to transport the match ball from London to Manchester. His tearful Match Ball Mission saw him encounter various physical and mental obstacles along the way, with his legs ultimately left 'falling apart' and ruling him out of any pitch action this weekend. Jamie Borthwick makes attempts to 'right wrongs' to 'save EastEnders career' after being suspended for using disabled slur on Strictly set
Jamie Borthwick has made a last-minute attempt to 'save his career' by sincerely apologising for using a shocking slur against disabled people. The actor, who has played Jay Brown for 19 years, has been suspended by the BBC after he used a slur aimed at disabled people on the set of Strictly. A video obtained by The Sun showed the EastEnders actor using the term 'm********s' to describe residents of Blackpool where the show was being filmed at the time. He was reportedly backstage during rehearsals with Wynne Evans who could be heard saying 'Oh my God' when he made the remark. He has since issued an apology, sharing that he did not fully understand the derogatory nature of the term he used but now that he is aware, he is 'deeply embarrassed'. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new Showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. With his future on the fictional Walford set unclear, Jamie is now said to be scrambling to 'clean up' his act ahead of crunch talks with high-level EastEnders bosses. The Sun reports the 30-year-old told a former partner this week how it was 'not clear' if he would return to EastEnders. The newspaper quoted Jamie as saying: 'I accept the karma that has come my way due to some bad choices.' It continued that Jamie told how he was now 'attempting to write the wrongs in my life'. He added he wanted to 'sincerely apologise for the mistakes I made and for hurting you and how I handled the whole situation'. MailOnline has contacted a representative for Jamie. In a groveling apology, Jamie previously said in a statement: 'I want to apologise sincerely and wholeheartedly for the words I used in the video showing my reaction to making it through Blackpool week on Strictly. 'I am deeply sorry for any offence and upset my words and actions have caused. It is no excuse, but I did not fully understand the derogatory term I used and its meaning.' A spokesperson for the BBC said: 'This language is entirely unacceptable and in no way reflects the values or standards we hold and expect at the BBC. 'We have robust processes in place for this.' It's the second Strictly-related controversy Jamie has found himself in after he and Wynne were reportedly blasted by BBC bosses over a shocking sex toy video. In footage obtained by The Sun on Sunday in April, the two stars were filmed backstage after the opera singer sent a sex toy to the EastEnders star. Filmed just two days after Wynne was recorded making a vile sexual comment to Jamie about pro dancer Janette Manrara , the video sees Jamie claiming the toy was sent to Birmingham's Utilita Arena reception by Wynne.
