Olympian Crystal Dunn is still waiting for Megan Thee Stallion's call
Crystal Dunn, who is representing the U.S. at the Olympics on the women's soccer team, talks about what she said to Megan Thee Stallion when they met.
Megan Thee Stallion can officially add fashion designer to an already glowing resume.
The original "Hot Girl" recently announced the launch of "Hot Girl Summer," a new swimwear collection named after the snappy catchphrase she trademarked in January 2022.
The Houston native, who's real name is Megan Pete, also designed the entire 18-piece size inclusive collection, showcasing her "creative vision and versatile execution."
"With the introduction of Hot Girl Summer, Megan officially becomes the first hip-hop artist to launch her own swimwear brand," Thee Stallion's team said in a May 14 press release.
Here's what we know about "Hot Girl Summer," including a closer look at price point, color scheme and design.
Where will 'Hot Girl Summer' swimwear be sold?
The 30-year-old rapper is partnering with Walmart to bring "Hot Girl Summer" to nearly 500 stores across the country and online at Walmart.com starting May 19. The swimwear will also be available for purchase online at MeganTheeStallion.com.
"Everyone knows I love being near a pool or a beach, so I finally decided to turn my passion into a business and create my own swimwear brand," Thee Stallion said in a statement. "It was only right that we kick off Hot Girl Summer with this launch and provide Hotties of all body types with the official Hot Girl uniform. I used to shop at Walmart growing up, so it's a full circle to have my own line available at Walmart and I'm so grateful for their support."
What will the 'Hot Girl Summer' collection include?
The rapper's "Hot Girl Summer" swimwear collection features 18 size-inclusive pieces in various cuts and colors.
The inaugural drop includes an assortment of bikinis, monokinis, one-piece swimsuits and swimsuit cover-ups in a wide array of colors, including purple, gold, black, orange and pink.
The price of the swimmers varies, but customers can expect to spend anywhere from $16 to $28 before tax and shipping costs are factored in.
"At Walmart, we want our customers to feel confident by offering fashion that celebrates their individuality and unique style," Ryan Waymire, SVP Women's Group at Walmart, said in a statement. "Megan embodies confidence and authenticity, and we're excited to collaborate with her on an exclusive swim collection that completes the ultimate 'Hot Girl Summer' uniform, all at incredible prices we know customers will love."

Susan Collins to get Hollywood treatment at fundraiser with Democrats
The fundraiser will be held at the home of Sherry Lansing, a former Paramount Pictures chair and prominent liberal donor, according to three people with knowledge of the fundraiser. Lansing's home in the Bel Air neighborhood is a mainstay on the philanthropy and Democratic fundraising circuit, hosting the likes of Lt. Gov. Eleni Kounalakis of California on her patio, which opens to sweeping views of Los Angeles. Get Starting Point A guide through the most important stories of the morning, delivered Monday through Friday. Enter Email Sign Up Lansing is set to co-host the event with Casey Wasserman, the sports and entertainment mogul and chair of the Los Angeles Olympics organizing committee, which is handling logistics for the Summer Games in 2028. Wasserman is a longtime Democratic giver as well, but he has taken steps to ingratiate himself with the right as of late, giving Olympic medals to President Donald Trump at the White House this month and donating to some Republicans during this election cycle. Advertisement Casey Wasserman, chairman of LA28, presented medals from the 1984 Olympics to President Trump in Washington on Aug. 5. Alex Brandon/Associated Press The Bel Air event has attracted some attention in Hollywood because Democrats will need to topple Republicans such as Collins if they have a chance at retaking the Senate. It is unclear how strong a candidate Democrats will field in Maine. On Tuesday, a political novice, Graham Platner, announced his entry into the Democratic primary. Advertisement Wasserman and Lansing decided to participate in the Southern California fundraiser because it was set up as a bipartisan host committee, with two Democrats and two Republicans, according to a person close to them. One of the Republicans is Harry E. Sloan, a former chair of MGM and a current member of the Lionsgate board. Sloan was once a prominent backer of moderate Republicans such as John McCain, but in recent years he has also made six-figure contributions to Democrats, including to back the 2024 presidential campaigns of Joe Biden and then Kamala Harris. Sloan's wife, Florence, a filmmaker with similar giving patterns to her husband, is also listed on the invitation. The other Republican hosting the event is Michael Burns, vice chair of the Lionsgate film and television studio. 'I'm proud to have supported my dear friend Senator Collins for many years,' Burns said in a text message. 'She remains a clear-thinking, bipartisan moderate in a world that, at least for the moment, is something far different.' Lansing, Wasserman and Sloan did not immediately respond to requests for comment. Collins' campaign had no comment. Tickets for the reception run from $3,500 to $10,000. Collins is also expected to attend finance events in Northern California around the time of the Bel Air fundraiser, according to a person with knowledge of the matter. Please let me eat the radioactive shrimp from Walmart
With great power comes great responsibility. We all know that to be true thanks to a young man from Queens who happened to be bitten by a radioactive spider and went on to save the world from a careless and egomanical oligarch, a technologist gone rogue, and a guy who is sometimes made of sand. We all admire the bravery and pluck of Peter Parker. So when I heard that there was a shipment of possibly radioactive shrimp at Walmart, I felt the call to serve. I must eat the radioactive shrimp. According to a press release from the Food and Drug Administration, a shipment of frozen shrimp from BMS Foods, an Indonesian supplier, tested positive at customs for Cesium-137, a radioactive isotope. The frozen shrimp was set to be sold under the Great Value brand at Walmart. "At this time, no product that has tested positive or alerted for Cesium-137 (Cs-137) has entered the US commerce," the FDA wrote, although they recommend a recall for three Great Value products. How did the shrimp become radioactive? Are all shrimp tested for radioactivity? Is foul play suspected, or is this some natural occurrence? These are questions I do not have answers to. The only question I definitively know the answer to is: Do I want to eat the shrimp? Yes, yes, I do. I need to try it. I cannot resist knowing there's radioactive shrimp out there and that I could potentially harness its shrimpy powers. Would I get claws? A powerful tail to maneuver through water? Would I just go great with cocktail sauce? [Note: Business Insider does not endorse eating anything radioactive, and you should not do this, no matter how tempting it sounds. Ingesting Cesium-137 allows the radioactive material to accumulate in soft tissues, increasing cancer risk, according to the FDA.] Since apparently the contaminated shipment was stopped before it hit shelves, it sounds like I'll never get a chance to find out. But thanks to the power of ChatGPT, I made a picture of myself as a radioactive shrimp:
