"Miami is home and will always have a special place in my heart," the caption reads, in part.
Berrios, 29, was born and raised in Raleigh, N.C. before playing four seasons with the Miami Hurricanes. After beginning his career with the New England Patriots, Berrios bounced to two other AFC East squads, first spending four years with the New York Jets before joining the Dolphins in 2023.
Miami brought back Berrios on a second one-year contract in 2024, but he suffered a season-ending ACL tear in October.
In two seasons with the Dolphins, Berrios recorded 27 receptions for 238 yards and a touchdown, as well as 338 punt return yards and 517 kick return yards.
