How to save money at Tesco EVERY little helps when it comes to saving money at Tesco. The Sun's Head of Consumer Tara Evans explains how you can save money at the UK's biggest supermarket. Clubcard points Tesco first launched it's loyalty scheme back in 1995. You get one point for every £1 you spend in store. If you spend points in store then 100 points is worth £1. You can spend your points via its reward partners and get triple and even sometimes quadruple the value. Extend Clubcard points You can find lost Clubvcard points and find the last two years of unused vouchers by logging into the Tesco Clubcard site. Clubcard prices If you don't have a Clubcard then you will miss out on its cheaper Clubcard prices. However, don't forget to check prices before you shop because it might not be cheaper than elsewhere, especially on big value items like washing powder and loo roll. Yellow stickers Shops do vary the time they reduce groceries with yellow stickers but Tesco tends to be between 7pm and 9pm. Save money if you shop online If you get your Tesco food shop delivered then it might be worth buying a delivery saver pass to help cut the cost of delivery fees. If you live near a Tesco then you can get click and collect slots of as little as 25p, so it might be cheaper than getting your food delivered.

‘Flawless' crisp brand is making major change to fan favourites after 40 years
It's a big week for crisp lovers! We kicked off with Walkers unveiling two new permanent flavours, which was a big deal, as it's the first time in decades the brand's core crisp range has been updated. And now another iconic crisp giant has announced plans to launch new products, that are a twist on classics. Nik Naks, which have been a lunchtime staple since 1982, revealed new Twisters – a new spin on the existing crisps, but shaped to look like a whirling, twisting tornado. These will be available in two fan favourite flavours: Nice 'n' Spicy and Tangy 'n' Cheesy and the new look is a huge milestone for the brand. This is because it's the first time in its 40-year history that a different shape has been released. The new Twisters are going to be exclusively sold in Sainsbury's supermarkets from October and will cost £2.50 for a multi-pack of nine bags. If you've never tried Nik Naks before, this could be the time to do so, that way you'll be able to compare and contrast the differences when the new ones arrive. Made of corn, the original Nice 'n' Spicy option taste tangy and spicy, while the Cheesy ones bring a traditional cheese flavour. Shoppers have long been big fans of the former especially, with reviews on the Tesco website hailing the Nice 'n' Spicy crisps as 'small but mighty', 'flawless', 'delicious', 'different from other crisps' and 'the perfect snack'. One customer gave five stars, writing: 'Amazing taste. What can I say, Nik Naks have been an absolute favourite of mine since childhood and they haven't changed a bit. Still taste the same, my favourite flavour is Sweet BBQ, but I still love the tast of Nice 'n' Spicy ones. 'It's great value for money, the texture is crunchy and great.' Another reads: 'I love Nice 'N' Spicy – they're my go-to when I'm craving something with a bit of a kick. The knobbly, crunchy sticks are so satisfying, and the spicy flavor really hits the spot without being overwhelming. 'Perfect for when I want a bold, fun snack that's a little different from the usual.' Speaking about the upcoming launch, John McDougall, Nik Naks and Heritage Portfolio senior brand manager, said: 'The launch of Twisters marks a revolutionary moment for Nik Naks – our first-ever new shape! 'We've taken our iconic flavours and given them a playful new twist. We're so excited for snack lovers across the UK to try them – give them a spin!' More Trending If you can't wait for October, the new Walkers crisps have already been released, with new Sticky Teriyaki and Masala Chicken packs being sold nationwide. These flavours join Ready Salted, Salt & Vinegar, Cheese & Onion, Prawn Cocktail, Roast Chicken and Smoky Bacon in the core line-up. Walkers claims the Sticky Teriyaki crisps are both 'sweet and tangy', and the flavour will 'hit your senses'. And the Masala Chicken ones are said to have a 'rich and creamy' taste, giving you a 'bite-sized' version of the UK's favourite Indian dish, Tikka Masala. Do you have a story to share?
