Nikeis diving deep into its celebrated archives to bring back a fan-favorite, much to the delight of sneaker enthusiasts worldwide. TheNike Air Max Plus'Black/Total Orange,' a distinctive colorway that first surfaced in 1996, is set for a highly anticipated return in Fall 2025. Designed by Sean McDowell, the Air Max Plus has always stood out for its iconic wavy TPU caging and signature Tuned Air cushioning. The 'Black/Total Orange' iteration is pure fire, literally. This fall-ready banger features a gradient mesh upper that seamlessly fades from brooding black to a blazing total orange. Glossy black TPU overlays and matching mudguards add depth and structure, creating a visually striking effect. Bright orange Swooshes bring the drama, contrasting sharply against the darker elements.
What makes this return particularly exciting for today's sneaker collectors is how the colorway plays with themes that are both spooky and sporty, hinting at Halloween without being overtly costume-like. The Air units themselves, those signature bubble windows, serve up a juicy splash of orange and red, while subtle yellow accents on the outsole and heel branding nod to the shoe's classic DNA. Tuned for comfort and built with bold flair, this pair isn't just for seasonal festivities. Its 'Tuned Air' cushioning offers premium stability and unbelievable comfort for all-day wear. The Nike Air Max Plus 'Black/Total Orange' will be available at Nike.com and select retailers, ready to scare the streets—in style—this fall.

Sling TV is offering an entirely new pricing model — what you need to know about Day Pass

Sling TV is doing something pretty revolutionary in the streaming space, and I hope more streaming companies follow suit now that a major one has broken the seal. Instead of signing up for a month for a cable TV replacement, you can join Sling TV with a day pass, a weekend pass or a full-week pass. If there's only one thing you want to watch and you don't have access to it through other means, you can simply purchase a day pass and watch it, then move on with your life. It's so simple, it boggles my mind that more streamers aren't doing it. There are so many ways this could be useful with a live TV streaming service like Sling TV. Let's say you want to watch your favorite football team play on Sunday, but you only need to see one particular games for now — just grab a day pass. "This launch is about putting control back in the hands of the fans, whether it's tuning in for college football, professional sports, award shows, or a spontaneous movie night, all without having to sign a long-term, binding contract," said Seth Van Sickel, senior vice president, product and operations, Sling TV. The prices seem reasonable for a full day of streaming live TV with Sling's Orange plan. Here's how much Sling is looking to get for each of its new pass offerings: To put the prices in perspective, here's how much Sling TV charges for its Orange streaming package monthly: Again, it's important to note that these passes are only offered with Sling's Orange plan, which primarily focuses on sports and family content. For now, there's no option to sign up for a Sling Blue or Sling Orange & Blue plan with passes (that's where the Extras come in, if you want to watch a specific channel). Get instant access to breaking news, the hottest reviews, great deals and helpful tips. Just imagine how awesome it would be if Netflix, Prime Video and other services offered something similar. When a bingeable show like Wednesday season 2 drops on Netflix, you can pay for a day, weekend or week and blast through the show. I don't watch a lot of TV or movies outside of golf, but I do like Wednesday and Cobra Kai. Does it really make sense for me to pay for Netflix monthly when I only want to binge those few shows when they drop (and watch Happy Gilmore 2)? Not at all, so I end up signing up for a month and then canceling when I watch the shows. It's a pain, and I'd much rather pay a couple of dollars extra in the short term if it prevents me from forgetting to cancel and paying more in the long run. We'll see if other streaming services start offering something like this (imagine the new WWE deal on ESPN, where you can get a day pass to watch the premium live event without being locked in). Obviously, streaming services want you to forget to cancel so they can continue to receive your money for the long haul, but it's not in the best interest of consumers. So will more start offering short passes? Only time will tell, but I'm hopeful.

In Mint Condition: Tobe Nwigwe Reveals Reebok x Chukwu ABUO

Name:Reebok x Chukwu ABUOColorway:Mint; ChalkMSRP:$130 USDRelease Date:August 22Where to Buy:Reebok All ofTobe Nwigwe's creative ventures are highly intentional, be it his unwavering wordplay on a genre-blurring track or, as he's been locked in on as of late, a new needle-pushing collaborative footwear project. For the latest chapter in hisReebokx Chuku creative partnership, Nwigwe has curated the Reebok x Chukwu ABUO – a modern-day reimagining of the Reebok BB 4000 II rooted in family and representative of his artistic journey. The sneaker features a mixed-material upper, complete with comingling hairy suede, nubuck leather, and textile, while curved overlays, a lace toggle closure, and a custom-molded heel logo round out the sleek design. 'Chukwu ABUO is more than just the next drop, it's a reflection of growth, deeply rooted in my family and heritage, connecting where I've been with where I'm going,' Nwigwe explained of the highly personal release. 'This collection represents clarity, how my past and future align in the now. It's a refined continuation of what I started: classic, elevated, tailored, and still undeniably me.' Even down to the colorway, the mint hue is core to Nwigwe's creative DNA. 'The Mint throughout isn't just a color, it symbolizes new beginnings and things falling into place as they're 'Mint' to be,' he says, contextualizing his inaugural 'Preseason OTU' launch earlier this year as the groundwork for this new drop. 'OTU was the beginning, and together with ABUO, they're two chapters in a bigger story about duality, balance, and staying grounded in where you're from while stepping into what's ahead.' And, as always, family is at the collection's core. 'Family was at the heart of every design decision in this collection. My kids inspire how I think, create, and move through life. This collection reflects that energy and intention. It's a piece of my family's story—created with care, and meant to be shared from my family to yours.' With that sentiment guiding the new release, not only does Nwigwe's family front the new campaign, but the Reebok x Chukwu ABUO comes amply stocked in Juniors, Childrens, and Infant sizing. An apparel capsule spanning a heavyweight hoodie, coaches jacket, graphicwear, and sweats is also included in the ABUO drop. Peep the full collection in the striking shoot above and catch it when it drops on theReebokwebstore on August 22, at 10 a.m. EST.
