Shoaib Akhtar

The West Indies clinched their first ODI series victory over Pakistan since 1991 with a commanding 202-run win in the decisive third match at Tarouba on Tuesday.
Fast bowler Jayden Seales produced stunning figures of 6-18, while captain Shai Hope struck an unbeaten century as the hosts bowled out Pakistan for just 92 while defending 294-6.

Akhtar lambasted Pakistan's batters, accusing them of not playing for the team.
'We used to have expressive and explosive talent, and we played like that. We were never dependent on one individual — everyone chipped in,' Akhtar said on the Game On Hai show.
'No one used to look for escape routes. The environment has changed, and in the last 10–15 years, everyone has started playing for themselves. Everyone is playing for their averages. The intent should be to win matches for your country.

What do you think is the main issue with Pakistan's batting performance in the recent ODI series against the West Indies?
Lack of teamwork
Poor individual performances
Inability to handle pressure
All of the above
'We need to change the intent, the mindset, and create that atmosphere. You need to play according to modern cricket. How hard is that to understand?' he added.
Pakistan's chase fell apart early, collapsing to 23-4 in the ninth over, with three ducks among the top four batters.

Former Indian cricketer Irfan Pathan (Photo by) Former India all-rounder Irfan Pathan has addressed speculation about his removal from the IPL 2025 broadcast team, revealing that it was Hardik Pandya , not Virat Kohli or Rohit Sharma , who had concerns about his on-air criticism. Speaking in an interview with The Lallantop, Pathan clarified the situation and discussed his past support for Pandya while defending his role as a broadcaster. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Pathan explained his approach to cricket commentary and the necessity of constructive criticism in broadcasting. "If I'm criticising you in 7 matches out of 14, I'm still being lenient. That is our job as broadcaster," Pathan stated in the interview. The former cricketer emphasized that there was no personal animosity between him and Pandya, highlighting his history of supporting cricketers from Baroda. "There is no rivalry. All the Baroda players who have come after me — Deepak Hooda, Krunal Pandya or Hardik Pandya — none of them can say that Irfan-Yusuf did not help them," Pathan shared. Pathan recalled a significant incident from 2012 when he had recommended a young Hardik Pandya to Sunrisers Hyderabad, demonstrating his early recognition of Pandya's potential. Pathan defended his stance on cricket criticism while maintaining that it should remain professional and not personal. "There is nothing wrong in criticising the player, if you play, you have to go through that. It happened with Sunil Gavaskar , the great Sachin Tendulkar… they never made anyone feel, they were bigger than the game. But I'm against the derogatory words used against Pandya," he explained. Pathan's comments shed light on the complex relationship between cricket broadcasters and players, highlighting the balance between professional criticism and personal respect in sports commentary. The revelation about his removal from the IPL broadcast team and the subsequent clarification provides insight into the behind-the-scenes dynamics of cricket broadcasting and player relationships. Kroy Biermann reveals disturbing custody details and warns Kim Zolciak home is hurting their children's mental health

Kroy Biermann reveals disturbing custody details and warns Kim Zolciak home is hurting their children's mental health (Image via Getty) Kroy Biermann has asked a Georgia court to make his home the main residence for the four children he shares with reality star Kim Zolciak. The former NFL player claims that the current shared custody arrangement is harming the kids' mental health. Under the existing plan, each parent takes care of two children at a time, with the older sons and younger twins switching homes weekly. Kroy Biermann argues that this split setup is not good for the children and wants full custody to provide stability and proper guidance. Kroy Biermann details concerns over Kim Zolciak's parenting and household environment According to court documents filed by Kroy Biermann's legal team, there is a 'noteworthy absence of structure and accountability' in Kim Zolciak's home. Biermann claims that his children often lack parental supervision when at their mother's house. Biermann accuses Kim of leaving the kids home alone or with other people for long periods of time. Biermann thinks this doesn't allow it to have consistent training for the children, that are a must for their emotional and mental health. The ex-NFL player stresses how one home offers the kids more stability in routine, behavior, and their family togetherness. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Linda Kozlowski, 67, Shows Off Her Perfect Figure In A New Photo The Noodle Box Also Read: Travis Hunter Continues Two Position Role As Trevor Lawrence And Coaching Staff Monitor His Snap Count Closely Kroy Biermann explains the need for primary custody to protect children's best interests Kroy Biermann points out that the current weekly rotation between his home and Kim Zolciak's disrupts the children's daily lives. He claims the older sons and younger twins live almost separate lives, and this split can create confusion and stress for the children. Kroy Biermann says that his goal is to offer a stable environment where all four kids can be together, receive consistent guidance, and have regular parental involvement. He argues that being the primary custodian in his home would be better supervision, more structured activities and a healthier environment for the kids. The legal filing was filed in Georgia in August 2025, and Kroy Biermann's lawyers are now asking the judge for a review and to grant him primary custody. The case is gripping due to the continued disagreements between former NFL star Biermann and Kim Zolciak about how they are parenting and caring for their children. Biermann states the move has everything to do with the children's best interests, nothing to do with personal matters, and to ensure a more stable and accountable home for all four kids.
