TV star stuns fans with pregnancy news days after going public with girlfriend
Well known British explorer Levison Wood posted about his relationship with a new partner just four days ago on Instagram, and has now revealed they are expecting
Adventurer and TV star Levison Wood has announced he's expecting his first child just days after going public with his new relationship.
The soldier, 43, who is best known for his daring treks across some of the world 's most dangerous terrains, revealed the exciting news on Instagram alongside a sweet tribute to his girlfriend Ana. Levison posted a photo of them together with big grins on their faces, writing: "Happy birthday to this wonderful human being! (And yep we're having a baby, not just a big lunch)."
The announcement comes just four days after Levison went Instagram official with Ana. He shared a selection of cute snaps showing them exploring the great outdoors together, writing: "Over the years I've met many people on the road, but every now and then, someone comes along who doesn't just travel with you, but changes the pace of the journey entirely. This is Ana.
"We've been exploring a shared path together lately, one filled with plenty of adventures, challenges and commitment. An exciting new chapter awaits."
Fans were quick to flood the comments section with congratulations for the new chapter of parenthood Levison is about to experience, with one exclaiming: "Massive congratulations to you both! I wish you a lifetime of happiness and beautiful new adventures as a trio!"
Another added: "Looks like you'll both be amazing parents." Levison became a household name in 2015 after his Channel 4 series Walking the Nile.
He has made a career out of tackling some of the toughest terrains on the planet, including the length of the Himalayas and some difficult treks in South America.
While doing that he also earned himself British heartthrob status, which he admitted baffled him in an interview with Holly Willoughby on This Morning in 2016.
He told her: "It's bizarre, isn't it? Who'd have thought a programme about walking would be deemed to have that? It can be quite overwhelming at times… but very flattering."
Levison also talked to The Sun about his love life - or lack of it - as recently as 2023, saying: "I'd love to have a family one day, but I don't think there is any need to follow convention and settle down at all.
"Sod that, I'm more up for continuing the adventures, no matter what. But I try to avoid talking about finding someone and love, as the last time I did, I ended up with a stalker."
Despite his rugged exterior, Levison has had more than his fair share of close calls. During one expedition in the Himalayas, a local taxi he was travelling in went off a cliff after its brakes failed, plunging 150 metres into a jungle ravine.
He suffered a badly broken arm and had to have metal plates inserted, but despite the painful operation he returned to complete the trek just five weeks later.
And it's not just broken bones he has had to contend with. During his Walking the Nile journey, Levison ended up having to carry on with the trip after the sudden death of his companion, American journalist Matthew Power, who collapsed from heat exhaustion in Uganda.

Starmer urges Britons in Israel to register their presence
The Foreign Office has advised against all travel to Israel, but Britons already in the country now face difficulties getting home, with the airspace closed due to the conflict with Iran. The Prime Minister said the UK was issuing advice to its citizens in Israel, speaking ahead of talks with other G7 leaders in Canada. 'All of us are giving advice to our citizens for British nationals in Israel, we're giving advice today to register their presence, so there will be a portal for that,' Sir Keir said. Downing Street said its key message to British nationals in Israel was to stay near shelter and follow the advice of local authorities. The UK has no plans to evacuate Britons stranded in Israel but support has been stepped up in Jordan and Egypt for people who make their own way overland. Foreign Secretary David Lammy told MPs travel advice was being updated with information about border crossing points. He said: 'The situation remains fast-moving. We expect more strikes in the days to come. 'This is a moment of grave danger for the region.' Mr Lammy said 'further escalation in the Middle East is not in Britain's interests, nor the interests of Israel, Iran or the region' and a wider war in an oil-producing region 'poses real risks for the global economy'. The UK now advises against all travel to Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territories. My message to British nationals there is clear – your safety remains our top priority. Follow our travel advice for the latest updates: — David Lammy (@DavidLammy) June 15, 2025 He added: 'Our message to both Israel and Iran is clear: Step back, show restraint. 'Don't get pulled ever deeper into a catastrophic conflict whose consequences nobody can control.' Poland has announced an evacuation of around 200 of its citizens in a bus convoy to Jordan, while the Czech Republic and Slovakian governments have organised repatriation flights from the region. Iran fired further missiles at Israel overnight, while Israel's military claimed to have 'full air superiority' over Tehran as strikes continued. The escalating conflict will be high on the agenda as leaders from the G7 group of wealthy democracies meet in Canada. Sir Keir said that he thought there was a 'consensus for de-escalation' before heading into meetings in Alberta on Monday, with US President Donald Trump among those set to attend. 'I spoke to President Trump just in recent days, and, of course, Prime Minister Netanyahu, and to pretty well all of the G7 leaders yesterday,' Sir Keir said. 'And I do think there's a consensus for de-escalation. 'Obviously, what we need to do today is to bring that together and to be clear about how it is to be brought about. 'But the risk of the conflict escalating is obvious, I think, and the implications, not just for the region but globally, are really immense, so the focus has to be on de-escalation.' Mr Trump is reported to have vetoed an Israeli plan to kill Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Downing Street would not be drawn on whether the UK was aware of the plan to assassinate the Iranian leader. A No 10 spokesman said: 'We wouldn't comment on private conversations or intelligence matters. 'We are concerned by further escalation, which is in no-one's interest, and we're working closely with our allies to press for a return to diplomacy.'

Romeo Beckham's ex Kim Turnbull breaks silence on Brooklyn feud and 'scapegoat lies'
Kim Turnbull has released a statement on social media after she was dragged into the ongoing Beckham family feud and she was said to have dated Brooklyn before he met Nicola Romeo Beckham's former flame Kim Turnbull has finally broken silence on her alleged romance with Brooklyn amid the ongoing family rift. Kim is reportedly at the centre of the feud that has seen Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz become distant from the rest of the clan. The 26-year-old model and DJ is rumoured to have been involved with Brooklyn prior to meeting billionaire heiress Nicola, 30, as they used to be pals. After enduring weeks of speculation concerning her past with Brooklyn, Kim declared she was "embarrassed by the lies" and felt compelled to break her silence. As Romeo's alleged partner, Kim was a fixture in the Beckham's close-knit circle, reports the Mirror, even attending David's 50th birthday bash which Brooklyn and Nicola notably skipped. This month however marked the end of Romeo and Kim's contentious relationship. In a bold move, Kim addressed the family turmoil that has overshadowed the news of David's knighthood this weekend, as his eldest son remains aloof from the celebration. Kim took to Instagram to voice her frustration: "I've avoided speaking on this topic to prevent adding fuel to the fire, however it's come to a point where I feel the need to address it so I can move on." She added firmly: "I will not continue to receive harassment or be embarrassed on the basis of lies, to fit a certain narrative." Addressing speculation about a romantic link with Brooklyn, Kim stated: "I have never been romantically involved in ANY capacity at ANY point with the person in question. Nothing between us has occurred further than a school friendship at age 16. "I would like to remove myself from the ongoing conversation and set the record straight for the sake of everyone involved." Kim was recently thrust into the limelight amid rumours surrounding the Beckham family, with rumours suggesting Brooklyn had swirling doubts over her intentions towards his brother Romeo. Rumours had circulated that Brooklyn and Kim shared a teenage romance, yet Cruz Beckham refuted these claims in a recently removed Instagram post, followed now by Kim's own denial. The gossip mill began after Brooklyn and his wife Nicola were notably absent from David's 50th birthday celebrations last month, leading to conversations that Brooklyn believed his parents favoured Romeo, drawing Kim into the controversy. Reportedly after seven months, Kim's liaison with Romeo waned three weeks subsequent to David reaching his milestone birthday. Kim's decisive words come following Brooklyn's pointed omission of his father on Father's Day. The newly knighted David honoured his offspring, Romeo, Cruz and Harper with an affectionate social media post, which seemed to allude to strained relations with Brooklyn. Captioning the photo, he remarked: "My most important and favourite job in life is being a dad... I'm so proud of all of you and like daddy ( sorry boys ) tells you every single day I will always be here for you no matter what.. "Mummy thank you for doing the most important part and making me a father there is no greater gift in life than making me a dad... Happy Father's Day... I love you kiddies more than you could imagine." He also posted a picture with Brooklyn, enjoying a glass of red wine, captioned: "I love you @brooklynpeltzbeckham." However, Brooklyn did not acknowledge his father on this special day, maintaining his silence. Nicola also omitted any mention of her father-in-law but did honour her own dad. On Instagram, alongside a photo with her father, she penned: "Happy Father's Day to the greatest dad in the world. I am so lucky to be your daughter I love you more than you will ever know. Thank you for always being my constant support. I love you beyond words. Happy Father's Day dad."

Lily Allen seen snogging TV's James Norton during ‘first date' at festival leaving onlookers stunned
Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) CLEAN-living Lily Allen steers clear of drink and drugs these days — so she was on her best behaviour for Lido Festival at the weekend. But she still found her own kind of high once the event finished, by snogging actor James Norton backstage. Now I have learned that they were in the mood to celebrate and headed to a backstage compound after the show, where Charli and other pals let their hair down. It doesn't sound like they had eyes for anyone else, though. One onlooker told me: 'James and Lily looked very into each other and they were snogging backstage. 'We were all quite surprised to see them there together, let alone kissing. 'I don't think they've even known each other that long, but it was a fun hang-out backstage and they got taken away by the vibe.' Meanwhile, Paul Mescal and Harris Dickinson, who will play Paul McCartney and John Lennon in the upcoming Beatles biopics, were also at the post-show party. And while Lily — who is believed to have met James on celebrity dating app Raya — stuck to the zero per cent beers, not everyone did. One fellow partygoer told me that a famous face, whose blushes I will spare here, took things way too far and ended up vomiting in front of several guests. Later on, Lily headed home riding a Lime bike, with her journey captured on Instagram by Saltburn actor Archie Madekwe. Lily Allen reveals secret boob job after split with Stranger Things star David Harbour - and surgery she wants done next Lily being in good spirits again is nice to see, because she has not had an easy time of it. The actress and singer, who splits her time between the UK and New York, broke up with her husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour, at the end of last year. But last week on her Miss Me podcast, she said: 'I think I'm sort of turning a corner. 'I'm being much more active. I'm out and about and doing stuff.' Good for her. 5 Lily and James pictured buying non-alcoholic beers at the bar Credit: Eroteme 5 They were spotted together at the Lido Festival in East London Credit: Eroteme
