TUI is opening its very first hotel in Côte d'Ivoire - an African country with beautiful beach resorts and rainforests.
In fact, more than 20 hotels are set to open in Africa in the coming months and years.

Managing Director TUI Hotels & Resorts confirmed the opening of brand-new TUI hotels across Africa.
In Côte d'Ivoire, also known as the Ivory Coast, there's the construction of the very first TUI Blue hotel in the country which is scheduled to open in 2027.
Côte d'Ivoire in West Africa has long stretches of beach, the most popular being Assinie-Mafia, Grand-Bassam, and Jacqueville.
Plage de Monogaga is a beach known for being the most beautiful and preserved in the region.
Along the coastline are coconut trees and thatched-roof restaurants.
There's also the Banco National Park, a rainforest preserve with hiking trails.
The country generally experiences a rainy season from June to October with average annual temperatures ranging from 24 to 28C.
TUI Blue is also planning to open its first hotel in The Gambia, which will open at the end of this year.
The resort will have 140 rooms and a unique location along Kotu Beach.
TUI very recently expanded, adding more hotels in Africa to their portfolio.

TUI Hotels & Resorts' currently has 97 hotels with over 30,000 rooms across eight countries.
The Mora Zanzibar has just celebrated its first anniversary - it's described as offering "contemporary luxury with highly personalised and flexible service."
The resort has 250 rooms, that overlook Muyuni Beach, as well as a huge outdoor swimming pool and infinity pool.
Inside are four restaurants to choose from - Jijan, offering Thai, Chinese and Japanese dishes, the Beach Club Grill and the buffet restaurant, as well as the Jua Grill.
There's also a kids' club and activities like football, tennis and snorkelling.
Holidaymakers from the UK fly there with British Airways to Abeid Amani Karume International Airport in Zanzibar with a stopover at Hamad Airport in Doha.
New hotels have opened across Cape Verde which Deputy Travel Editor explored and discovered Maldives-like beaches.
Kenya has also been dubbed 'one to watch' with new flights, cheap hotels and 35C winters.

That is why it has been named one of six dupes for Majorca. The Spanish Balearic island receives a colossal 17.8 million tourists each year, which can leave the place feeling a little overwhelming. The island's crown jewel is Garajonay National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage site. Blanketed in ancient laurel forests, the park feels like something out of a fairytale. La Gomera is also sprinkled with charming villages that seem frozen in time. Vallehermoso, with its vibrant houses and welcoming locals, is a must-see. Don't miss Agulo, often dubbed the "pearl of La Gomera" for its stunning views and cobbled streets. Food lovers will be smitten with La Gomera's distinctive cuisine. Give "almogrote," a rich cheese spread, a go, or try "miel de palma," a sweet syrup derived from palm trees. While the beaches here may not be as expansive as those in Tenerife, La Gomera has some hidden treasures. Huge new £200m UK water park being built with swimming pools, slides and attractions
North American water park giant Great Wolf Lodge has chosen the UK as the home of its first European location. The indoor resort will include a pools, slides, guest suites and more While public lidos are a mainstay of the UK, an indoor water park is the ultimate way to beat the heat wave. Luckily a new indoor park is set to open in Bicester and it's packed with family-friendly attractions. With water parks scattered across Canada and the US, Great Wolf Lodge is behind North America's largest family of indoor resorts. Nearly thirty years after opening its first resort in Wisconsin, Great Wolf Lodge is finally opening their first European resort in Bicester. Bicester was selected for the inaugural European site because of its proximity to London and other major cities. It also conveniently links to the motorways, making it as easy as possible - for as many families as possible - to make the trek. It comes after an exciting heatwave forecast with maps reveals the exact date a 39C heat plume will scorch the UK. Tenerife has 'world's best water park' - and it's open all year round The new Great Wolf Lodge promises to provide 'a one-of-a-kind family resort experience'. It will be set on an old golf course in Chesterton near Bicester. The park will include 'an incredible array of attractions, entertainment offerings and dining options' but is currently still under construction. According to Great Wolf Lodge, the resort should be 'completed by the end of the summer' although it was originally planned to be complete in 'late 2024'. Great Wolf Lodge says they worked closely with Chesterton Parish Council, Cherwell District Council and Oxfordshire County Council to prepare the now-approved scheme. The new resort is expected to cost approximately £200 million to complete and, according to the company, will create 1,000 jobs during the construction phase and roughly 600 jobs when the resort is up and running. In addition to the Bicester resort, the company also has plans for two other proposed UK water parks: in Derbyshire and Hampshire. Both the proposed Great Wolf Lodge Derbyshire and Great Wolf Lodge Hampshire will have approximately 500 guest rooms 'designed specifically for families and are available in a variety of themes and sizes'. The resort will be 50,000m² and will include the indoor water park, an adventure park and dining facilities. The guest suites will be situated at the centre of the site for optimal views and access. Families will have the option of staying on site for an extended holiday or purchasing a one-day pass. That said, there are currently no dates for construction work to begin on the Derbyshire or Hampshire sites. Great Wolf Lodge has only confirmed that the proposed entrance and exit for the Derbyshire site is on the A619 (Worksop Road) and will be located between Barlborough and Whitwell, around a mile from the centre of Clowne. Great Wolf Lodge Hampshire's proposed entrance and exit is via the Worting Road roundabout and will be located between Basingstoke Leisure Park and Moniton Trading Estate.

Australia's first floating bathhouse has opened in the Gold Coast hinterland – and it's pure luxury
Australia is well and truly in its wellness era, with luxe saunas and spas popping up all across the country. Now, the Gold Coast hinterland is turning up the heat with the country's first 'floating' elemental bathhouse. Submerged in subtropical rainforest, it's complete with hot thermal pools, ice baths, a cedar wood sauna, botanical steam room, scrub suite, salt cave and an open-air fire pit that descends below a lake. And it's phone-free – because total relaxation is the only thing on the schedule. Sol Elements has been a four-year labour of love for husband-and-wife duo, Russell and Shae Raven, who enlisted the creative minds at Design Artisan Co to bring their unique vision to life: a bathhouse inspired by the four elements, earth, air, fire and water. Perched on the lake's edge in the heart of Tamborine Mountain, this sanctuary is just a relaxed 50-minute drive from Brisbane or the Gold Coast. Sol was designed to harmonise with its subtropical surroundings, featuring a striking circular structure that floats on a tranquil lake home to turtles, ducks and native birds. Inside, the wabi-sabi-inspired interiors are just as consciously curated – think yakisugi (traditional Japanese burnt wood) personally hand-burnt by Russell, paired with earthy bronze and slate finishes. But as beautiful as it looks, the real magic happens when you step inside and let yourself unwind. Begin your wellness journey in the Elemental Playground – a tranquil oasis designed to awaken every sense. You can drift between three outdoor magnesium thermal pools heated to 38 degrees, invigorate your body with a plunge in one of two 12-degree cold pools, then sweat it out in the cedar wood sauna offering a glass-faced lookout perched over the lake. There's also a 'silent' botanical steam room for ultimate peace and quiet, a Himalayan salt cave and two bookable magnesium float caves infused with 39 per cent salt. For something a little extra special, Sol Elements has created an Earth Lab where you can craft your own personalised exfoliation scrub using a salt or sugar base blended with organic botanicals. Think chamomile flower, hibiscus flower, spirulina, calendula and rose petals. Afterwards, cool off and connect at the communal outdoor fire pit, submerged below water level. If you're after a more exclusive bathing experience, Sol offers two private suites – one of which is dog-friendly. Each suite boasts a thermal mineral bath on its own secluded balcony, an infrared sauna, ice bath, botanical scrubs, wellness mini bar stocked with 'spatinis' and ceremonial tea, and panoramic views of the glistening lake.
