Fans react to the news; share mixed reactions
As soon as the news about a new song was confirmed, BLINKS from all around the world rejoiced and came online to celebrate. Many shared their shock and happiness over the news, sharing how new music is 'finally' being released after so long.
While a lot of fans celebrated the news, many criticised the group's management for poorly handling the festivities. Many even called out the company for not releasing a proper schedule, and that one song was 'not enough' or 'worth the wait'.
One fan commented that 'so we waited all these years for new music just for us to get one song that won't even be on streaming for god knows how long, so we can only listen through fancams or by buying a concert ticket,' while another mentioned that 'the same 20 songs are going to be performed, plus one extra, so it's basically the Born Pink Tour 2.0.
'
No other comments about the comeback or the new song have been made, as the company has managed to keep everything under wraps. Meanwhile, BLACKPINK are readily preparing to start their world tour 'DEADLINE', which is all set to start next month. So far, around 31 shows have been announced in different cities and countries. The group will be touring places like Los Angeles, Chicago, Toronto, New York, Paris, Milan, Kaohsiung, Bangkok, Jakarta, Bulacan, Singapore, Tokyo, Barcelona, London, and Hong Kong.
More dates will possibly be announced at a later date.

Florida Panthers' Stanley Cup beach parade ignites Reddit debate over hockey fandom

Stanley Cup beach parade (via Getty Images) The Florida Panthers' recent Stanley Cup championship parade—which was held exclusively on a beach—has set off a whirlwind of responses throughout Reddit, revealing the widening gulf in attitudes toward hockey fandom between established markets and newer ones. As Florida Panthers' fans basked in championship glory beneath sunny skies and palm trees, a self-styled segment of the hockey community took to the internet to ridicule the turnout, the location, and even the authenticity of southern hockey fans. Florida Panthers' beach party celebration sparks reactions as Reddit thread ignites discussion on fan support and regional bias When the Florida Panthers won the Stanley Cup, not many would have guessed that the parade was going to happen on the South Florida coast. What appeared to be a festive and creative celebration became instant meme fodder, particularly on hockey forums of Reddit, where one thread went viral, boasting hundreds of cutting remarks and jabs. "Not gonna lie, a Stanley Cup party at a beach would be pretty amazing. I honestly love the idea of seeing all the different places and atmospheres that a Stanley Cup parade could be held in. I can see the future playoff commercials now: "From the sandy beaches of south Florida to the rocky coastlines of British Columbia, from the northern Great Lakes to the dry deserts of the south, from the towering skyscrapers of NYC to the flat plains of Manitoba'," a user commented. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like One of the Most Successful Investors of All Time, Warren Buffett, Recommends: 5 Books for Turning... A center for ANTS," and another, joking, "All six of us!"—ridiculing the apparent absence of fan support. Still others pooh-poohed the celebration altogether, saying it looked more like an ordinary beach day than a championship parade. However, the beach party celebration also had fervent justifications. A Reddit poster denounced the negativity, saying, "/nhl filled with so many gatekeepers trying to diminish the Panthers' championship. It's sad, really. Isn't the sub about supporting hockey? Pooping all over the fans of an up-and-coming team? Gatekeepers, all of you." Another added, "Yeah, I really don't understand the hate. You would think the Panthers are the worst thing to happen to hockey ever." The Reddit thread shows just how much people feel they have stakes in what hockey "should" be—whether that features sun-kissed beaches or snow-filled downtown parades. The Florida Panthers' beach party may have been unusual, but it stood in for something greater: a realignment of the NHL identity, in which geography is no longer the exclusive signifier of fandom. Also read: Florida turns into hockey heaven as Panthers throw another unforgettable Stanley Cup parade The Florida Panthers have become history-makers by winning the Stanley Cup, and celebrating it on the beach was a nod to their identity—unapologetic, vibrant, and bold, just like all Floridians. To the haters online, sure, they can mock, but it's obvious that the Panthers and their fans are making their mark in the world of hockey, palm trees included. 'This city will be under water': Actor Meerra Chopraa on Mumbai's alarming urban reality

Actor Meerra Chopraa , known for her work in Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi films, recently took to social media to raise concerns about the vanishing green spaces in Mumbai. In a tweet accompanied by a video, Chopraa highlighted the rapid urbanisation and unchecked development in the city. 'This is the reality of Mumbai. Hardly any piece of empty land is left. Green belts are sold, SRA (Slum Rehabilitation Authority) land is sold, commercial and residential spaces are exhausted. There is absolutely no space to breathe. This city will be under water in no time if this land corruption isn't stopped!' she warned. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Darling! Live Events 'Real estate in India has become the most corrupt sector. If it's not regulated soon, it will damage both the economy and the social fabric. And it's all due to collusion,' one user commented. 'India should learn from China—how to build clean, green, and noise-free cities,' said another. Another X user sid, "A harsh truth that can't be ignored. Mumbai's concrete race is coming at the cost of its soul — green cover, open spaces, and safety. If unchecked, it's not just about floods — it's about the future we're burying under real estate greed. Time to wake up." However, not everyone agreed with her viewpoint. One critic argued, 'People love Dubai despite it having hardly any trees, but when something similar happens in India, the same people who own apartments in Dubai complain. You bought an apartment, not the whole neighbourhood. You can't expect others to leave land vacant just so you can breathe. If you want space, move out of Mumbai and buy a bungalow. We're just born to keep complaining.' Chopraa's remarks have reignited the ongoing debate about sustainable urban planning, green cover, and the impact of real estate development on the quality of life in India's financial capital. Just last month, the financial capital of India saw flooding due to early monsoon rains. Meanwhile, IMD has issued a yellow alert for Mumbai for this week anticipating heavy rains.
