Aly Goni Says It's ‘All About Love' As He Shoots Laughter Chefs 2 Finale

The second season of the celebrity cooking show Laughter Chefs is coming to an end. Known for its mix of comedy, cooking goof-ups, and star-studded lineup, the show quickly became a fan favourite. After shooting Laughter Chefs 2 final episode, Aly Goni, one of the most-loved contestants this season, shared a heartfelt post on X (formerly Twitter).
He wrote, 'Shooting the final episode of #LaughterChefs Season 2! This show is all about love, nothing else. We are all one family, giving our all to make it a super hit. Thank you for the love! #LaughterChefs2"

This season featured popular names like Rubina Dilaik, Rahul Vaidya, Elvish Yadav, Karan Kundrra, Reem Shaikh, Ankita Lokhande, Vicky Jain, Krushna Abhishek, Kashmera Shah, Samarth Jurel and Sudesh Lehri. Bharti Singh returned as the host, and Harpal Singh Sokhi continued as the judge.
The show first aired on January 25, 2025. In the early weeks, the team saw some changes. Mannara Chopra and Abdu Rozik were part of the initial line-up but were later replaced by Nia Sharma and Karan Kundrra. Aly Goni and Reem Shaikh also made a return mid-season. Even Jannat Zubair stepped in for an episode when Vicky Jain was away.
Aly was one of the highlights in Season 1. Fans loved his fun nature, creative dishes and the way others on the show ended up copying his recipes. Despite his popularity, he wasn't invited in the beginning of Season 2. In an earlier interview with Times of India, he shared that he missed being on the show but respected the makers' decision. Later, he returned as a wildcard along with Reem and became one of the most loved contestants once again.
'Now, when Laughter Chefs season 2 came, the channel wanted me, but then I was upset with them because the season had begun, and I wasn't a part of it. I love them. The whole team and I were openly upset. Maine bol diya main naraz hu. They tried and then approached me, so I discussed it with Jasmin, and she pushed me to do it," he said.
Throughout the season, two teams stood out – Karan Kundrra and Elvish Yadav, and Aly Goni and Reem Shaikh. Their cooking impressed the judge and guests every week.
Though the finale hasn't aired yet, various reports suggest that Aly Goni has once again won the show, this time with Reem by his side. Karan and Elvish are said to be the first runner-up followed by Rubina and Rahul in third place.

In a promotional step as bizarre as it was audacious, the tickets for the first screenings of The Odyssey in IMAX in select screens in the US went on sale on Thursday, one year before the film's release. And they were snapped up within minutes, if not seconds.
