Terry Crews Says He Burned 7,000 Calories After One 'America's Got Talent' Episode
The actor and media personality sat down with guest host Nicole Byer for the August 13 episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, and discussed AGT being the "hardest" and "most satisfying" job in the world.
Around the nine-minute mark of the video below, the 57-year-old joked that he wears a Wearable fitness tracker to make sure his "heart's still ticking." While hosting one episode of the long-running reality competition show, Crews tracked that he'd lost 7,000 calories in a single day.

"I was like, 'Something's wrong.' Like maybe I had my hand near a heater," Crews joked. "But it was wild. I burned [that many calories] because what happens is the energy of people, the energy of talking and being [with] people, then going out live and then dancing and seeing the acts and jumping around and going around the whole theater."
He continued, "And now I come home and I'm done. I'm just tired. And I said,7,000 calories. That is nuts."
Crews added that he's learned to "condition" himself to stay in shape. "Literally, I wake up. I prepare. I'm doing my whole thing," he said. "I'm the kind of guythat visualizes this before I do it. So, I see what I'm gonna do and I basically play it all out as if everything happened great. And then it usually does."
The actor has also imagined scenarios "happening bad," which "usually did" transpire afterwards, but Crews has been a longtime health advocate and has denied that he relies on steroids.
"This body has been working out for 40 years, okay? That's all," he said in a promotional clip for MyProtein in January. "Probably a little more than that, I started when I was 14. I'm 56 now, so, you do the math."

Nick Cannon on the Mother of His Children: ‘Do You Know 6 Women That Get Along?'
Nick Cannon might have decent relationships with the mothers of his twelve children, but that doesn't mean that they're cool with each other. Around the 18-minute mark of the Wednesday (August 13) episode of his Wondery podcast Nick Cannon @ Night, the comedian and television personality discussed not referring to his former partners as his "baby mamas." Cannon has children with his ex-wife, Mariah Carey, and models Brittany Bell, Abby De La Rosa, Alyssa Scott, Bre Tiesi and LaNisha Cole. After confirming that he has "half a dozen" co-parents, Cannon was asked by comedian Flame Monroe if the women "get along." 'Do you know six women anywhere that get along?' he joked. When Monroe explained that the "younger generation" of co-parents are amicable and occasionally spend time together, Cannon called it a "beautiful thing," but declined to do the same. "It's just that I'm not like this king of some harem that's telling people what they have to do," he said. "It's more about, sure, if you have your own personal relationship, have at it, but it's not a prerequisite." Cannon went on to count "individuality and communication" as reasons for his improved relationships with the mothers of his children, although it wasn't initially easy. "I think everybody enjoys having the respect of their own household, their own family, but once you start grouping people together, then I think that's when you can create confusion," Cannon explained. "That's when egos get involved. That's when comparisons get involved. And like I said, I'm learning and growing daily." Cannon and the women have since learned to "put our children first," but it was just a few months ago that Scott complained that Cannon didn't spend enough time with their 2-year-old daughter, Halo. The former couple also had a son, Zen, who died in 2021 at just five months old after battling brain cancer. In May, Scott wrote on Instagram that Cannon hadn't visited their daughter in "over a month" and mocked the entertainer for having his testicles insured for $10 million. Tracee Ellis Ross Shared 1 Thing A Date Did That Made Her Cringe
Tracee Ellis Ross' recent dating excursion turned out to be a series of unfortunate events. Ross moseyed on down to 'Jimmy Kimmel Live,' guest-hosted by comedian Nicole Byer, to discuss an array of topics — including the ongoing quest to find one's soulmate. 'It's rough out there. The streets are bad,' Byer said, commenting on the current dating climate. Finding the perfect man is like scoring a one-of-a-kind Gucci purse at a thrift store: to find it, you'll have to dig. And scoring the metaphorical bag was not the case when Ross shared a dating story that left audience members shocked and appalled. Ross said she assessed the situation — and after she realized it wasn't a practical joke, she tried to make the best of an awkward situation. 'So I was like, 'So who's playing?' And he put his hand up. As in like, 'Don't let me miss anything.'' In lieu of the ground opening up and swallowing her whole, Ross said she texted her friends, 'I need to leave here.' Byer asked if she stayed and ordered another round, to which Ross replied that it was strictly a one-and-done situation. But, the plot? It thickens.
