EuroMillions: Single ticket-holder could win UK's biggest lottery prize tonight
A single ticket-holder could win the biggest lottery prize the UK has ever seen if they match the right numbers in tonight's EuroMillions draw.
The jackpot has rolled over to an estimated £208m, after Tuesday's £199m draw - which also would have been a record-breaking amount - had no winners.
The winner would instantly become richer than Adele and Dua Lipa, while also bagging the top spot on the National Lottery's biggest wins list.

Andy Carter, senior winners' adviser at Allwyn, said: "We are now on the verge of potentially creating the biggest National Lottery winner this country has ever seen."
The previous largest prize pot was won by an anonymous UK ticket-holder, who took home £195m on 19 July 2022.

Just two months earlier, Joe and Jess Thwaite, from Gloucester, won £184,262,899 with a Lucky Dip ticket. At the time, Joe was a communications sales engineer, and Jess ran a hairdressing salon with her sister.
Mr Thwaite said he woke up at 5am as usual, and checked his phone to see an email saying, "Good news, you have won a prize".
But he did not immediately wake his wife, choosing to let her sleep in.
"I saw how much and I didn't know what to do," Mr Thwaite said.
"I couldn't go back to sleep, I didn't want to wake Jess up, so I just laid there for what seemed like forever. I spent some time searching for property with no budget limit, which was a novelty!"
When his wife woke up, she assumed the National Lottery app was wrong.

In February last year, were revealed as the UK winners of a £61m EuroMillions jackpot - who at first thought they had only won £2.60.
The couple from Lancashire split the £123m prize with a winner in Spain.
This year's biggest prize, of £83m went to a UK winner in January.

Jeremy Clarkson battles a series of last-minute setbacks, including suffering a staff walkout at his Farmer's Dog pub in the series four finale of Clarkson's Farm, streaming on Prime Video from Friday morning. There are a whole number of problems that the farmer faced on the first weekend of opening The Farmer's Dog over August bank holiday 2024. What may have seemed like a smooth sailing success from the outside is now revealed to be far from the truth as Clarkson takes viewers behind the scenes of the pub opening in the Clarkson's Farm's finale. Clarkson's £20,000 tractor restoration from Richard Hammond arrives. But to name a few problems: staff quit and others are left exhausted, water fails, the roof leaks and at one point there is no gas leaving the pub unable to serve food for several hours, a man who falls over has surgery. The list feels endless. Understandably the 65-year-old is left stressed while trying to firefight all of the problems happening at once. After a hectic opening day, Clarkson sits down with Charlie Ireland to discuss a plan of action in the new episodes of the docuseries. The presenter had already praised how much he loved the staff who were friendly and smiling. He tells Ireland: "We've lost two waitresses. We lost a pot washer. After one day." Quickly it's clear this isn't the only problem as Clarkson is plunged into darkness. He says: "Lights are still flickering. Lights flickered off..." Later, emotions are running high when Clarkson is having crisis talks with his front of house staff Sue and Rachel in the upstairs bar at the pub. They tell him things are not going well and that he should go back for a second time to thank his kitchen staff for coping amid the drama. The front of house say that there are "too many problems" to run a "successful business" from this specific site. "Everyone is exhausted, even when we say go for a break, there is no staff room," they tell him. "They're weeing in a portaloo. It's not lovely conditions. They love you. They're excited about the British food." "I have no problem with the staff," says Clarkson. "Not one single problem with the staff. They're all brilliant. They are smiling. They are nice." "The kitchen is about to go pop, those chefs have had it.... It might be worth popping into the kitchen." "I just popped in," Clarkson informs the front of house team. "Go back." "What?" Clarkson doesn't take the feedback well. At the end of his tether, he snaps. Clarkson hits back: "Do you want me to go and find a manager? Or go back into the kitchen?" Clarkson makes it clear that his work is endless when it comes to the pub opening. He goes on sarcastically: "Or do you want me to the leak mended? Or do you want me to deal with the car parking issues? Or do you want me to deal with the neighbours? Do you want me to deal with the council? I've got plenty to be doing and I'll get on with it. Thank you." It's worth noting how tired Clarkson is because he's working around the clock with the pub opening while also juggling the harvest at night, having to even pull all-nighters. Naturally Clarkson is disappointed but he has already got a solution. The former Top Gear presenter has lined up a replacement. In an update, he says: "We've worked out if we shut the lavatories and use plastic plastic glasses instead of glass glasses, we'll have enough water to serve food until six. Next problem is Sue and Rachel, who brilliantly set the pub, up have now left. So it's a Sunday morning, I've managed to get a new front of house person who is the head of sixth form at the local village school. That's good." As Clarkson's Farm season four comes to an end, the core members of the team go for a special lunch at a nearby pub. They choose not to celebrate at The Farmer's Dog itself because even though Clarkson says it's working "reasonably well", they couldn't "relax there". "There was always something to do," Clarkson says in the voiceover. "Something to mend. Something to worry about... So we went to someone else's pub instead." Over the pub lunch, Clarkson is joined by girlfriend Lisa Hogan, Kaleb Cooper, Gerard Cooper, Ireland, Alan and Annie. The presenter tells his core Clarkson's Farm team: "It hasn't been the smoothest of openings... The pub has been tricky. But it's there now. So well done. We did it. To The Farmer's Dog." Willow, 3, meets William and shares her crisps
When Prince William paused to greet three-year-old Willow during a visit to the Royal Cornwall Show, her family never expected a gift to exchange hands. They were taken aback when Willow reached up with a single Quaver - and even more surprised when the prince popped the savoury snack into his jacket pocket. "I don't think I've ever been offered a Quaver before," the prince said. "I'm going to save this and put it in my pocket for later." Grandmother Sharon Hart, who captured the moment on video, told the BBC: "It was a lovely genuine moment and a memory that we will never forget." Ms Hart, from Luxulyan, from Cornwall, said: "I guess he gets some very expensive presents and this was a first. "Willow always wants to be a princess, so the fact she met a real live prince - she thought that was incredible." The Prince of Wales visited the Royal Cornwall Show on Friday, where he toured the exhibits, spoke to visitors and sampled local produce, including Cornish Rattler cider. Prince William, the Duke of Cornwall, is a patron of the Royal Cornwall Agricultural Association, the charity which organises the three-day show. Willow was attending with her family, including brothers Jude, six, and Noah, eight. Ms Hart, 65, said: "He was leaving the Duchy tent when he passed us. "We were just watching and hoping we'd get a glimpse when there was a commotion in front of us and before we knew it Willow was handing out a Quaver. "She's usually quite tight with her Quavers so it obviously meant a lot to her. "He was a real gent, he thanked her and told her he'd never been given a Quaver as a gift." Jodie Hart, Willow's mother, said: "She's had another packet of crisps today and said she wanted to share them with Prince William. "We told her he was probably a little busy." Samsung Makes New Free Offer To Galaxy S25 Edge Buyers
Samsung's new Galaxy S25 Edge is the slimmest ever Galaxy phone. One month after its launch and just weeks after the last serious Galaxy S25 discount, the Galaxy S25 Edge has already been included in its first major promotion. Samsung U.K. is running a familiar deal that gives away a free Galaxy Tab A9 Plus, worth £359 ($485), with all Galaxy S25 Edge purchases. This is alongside up to £468 trade-in value (more on this later), 2TB of cloud storage for six months, three months of Samsung Care Plus and 30% off select accessories. The trade-in values, free subscriptions and discounted accessories are commonly used makeweights in Samsung promotions. The headline deal here is the free tablet bundled with the phone. The Korean company has a habit of throwing in an expensive freebie with smartphones. The Galaxy Tab A9 Plus appears to be the most popular, but I have seen Samsung bundle a free Chromebook, free earbuds, a free Galaxy watch and even the Galaxy S25 itself given away for free. Readers of my deals stories will know that the sacrifice for these freebies is historically poor trade-in valuations compared to U.S. pricing. But, in an unexpected move, that appears to have suddenly changed. Samsung U.K. is now offering equivalent prices for used devices compared to Samsung U.S.—even beating American valuations in some cases. For example, U.K. shoppers will get £341 ($461.41) for their Galaxy S22 Ultra compared to the U.S. store's $500 price. Things get better with the S23 Ultra, which is priced at £449 ($607.54), beating the U.S. shop's $580 valuation. I don't know what inspired Samsung to u-turn on U.K. and European trade-in pricing, but there may be a clue in the Galaxy S25 Edge's early sales information. Samsung's new ultra slim Galaxy S25 Edge. According to its industry sources, SamMobile claim's that Samsung's early Galaxy S25 Edge sales are below expectations. The site also theorizes that the company's lack of sales data in Korea and pre-order deals—that improved as the days went on—are signs that the device hasn't sold well. This wouldn't surprise me because it is an entirely new device that doesn't have the history of the main flagship line behind it to inspire confidence in consumers. I'm also not entirely convinced the Edge will be around for the long run. A Samsung representative I spoke with explained that the company had to redesign essential components to fit into the Edge's smaller chassis. I suspect these new design methods will be repurposed into other flagship devices, like the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 7. Samsung has done this before with the original Galaxy Note Edge phone back in 2014, which disappeared after one launch, with the curved screen technology being subsumed into the main Galaxy S line. The combination of the Edge potentially not selling widely, the newly enhanced trade-in prices, and the possibility that it is a one-and-done device, alongside this early freebie promotion, could mean more aggressive discounts on the horizon.
