Huge rock star ‘splits from girlfriend of 15 years'

News.com.au18-05-2025
A huge US rock star is said to have 'split from his partner' of 15 years amid allegations of infidelity.
It came after Mötley Crüe frontman Vince Neil and his band left fans devastated after cancelling a string of gigs due to his health, The Sun reported.
Now the Dr Feelgood band's lead vocalist Vince, 64, is said to have broken up with long-time girlfriend Rain Hannah in reports published on TMZ.
The pair had been in a relationship since 2011.
Yet the publication claims the California-born star's love story is 'officially done' – with sources alleging he believed the make-up artist had been unfaithful.
The Sun has now gone to Vince's rep for comment.
The pair did not have any children together but raised a Yorkshire terrier named Cali, who sadly passed away in 2020 after being attacked by neighbourhood dogs.
The split claims come just months after they were on-board Vince's private plane when it crashed into another jet in Arizona.
Back in February, Rain had shared happy pictures of them boarding the doomed jet on social media before it took off.
She was then rushed to the hospital after Neil's plane collided with another aircraft at an airport in Scottsdale.
The pilot of Neil's private jet was killed, officials said at the time. Three others, including Hannah and a friend plus a second pilot, were hurt in the collision.
Footage from the terrifying scene showed the harrowing moment the planes smashed into each other.
Rain lowdown
Rain is an American beauty educator, celebrity makeup artist, YouTuber and social media influencer.
She also goes by Rain Andreani and was born in Las Vegas, Nevada on August 15, 1982.
Rain completed a degree in Communications, Broadcasting and Journalism at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
Gigs off
Vince's blow to his personal life comes amid issues in his professional life, too.
Mötley Crüe made the shock announcement of the postponement of their US residency in a post uploaded to Instagram in March – revealing it was lead vocalist Vince's health that took priority.
The Rock band – who previously announced their retirement before making a U-turn, addressed their loyal fans in two statements.
In a candid message 64-year-old Vince, who joined Mötley Crüe in 1981, wrote: 'To all the Crüeheads who were looking forward to see us this Spring,
'I'm truly sorry. My health is my top priority so I can bring you the awesome shows you deserve, and I can't wait to return to the stage.
'Thank you for all the well wishes that keep reaching me. Your support means more than you know.'
A joint statement from the band then read: 'Please join us in wishing Vince a speedy recovery.
'We are looking forward for him to get well again and to take over Vegas together in September.'
The Live Wire singers were due to take to the stage at Park MGM in Las Vegas between March 28 and April 19. Their shows will now kick off on September 12 instead, running through until September 27.

Influencer who dropped OnlyFans account on day of her 18th birthday makes $1.6m

A Gen Z influencer who went viral at nine years old for her foul-mouthed antics, claims to have made $1.6m after joining OnlyFans the day of her 18th birthday. Rapper and content creator Lil Tay was thought to be rage baiting followers when she told male fans that she would be dropping the link to her OnlyFans the minute she legally became an adult. Men had been counting down to her birthday and she teased the release by tagging conservative American commentators like Ben Shapiro and Michael Knowles. However, when her birthday rolled around last week, Lil announced she was the 'youngest girl on OnlyFans' and began promoting content reportedly recorded at 12.01 that morning. She's since claimed that she made A$1.6m in her first three hours on the X-rated platform, saying, 'We broke the f**k out of that onlyfans record'. A screenshot of her earnings showed that just over half of the income came from subscribers who paid A$30 to follow her content, while the remainder came from direct messages. 'For all the grown haters who've been hating since I was nine years old, look at me now,' she said in a video shared on social media. 'What y'all got to say? Y'all been doubting me for seven years. You can hate me all you want — you can't say Lil Tay ain't winning. 'Oh yeah, and thank you to all my supporters who pre-ordered since 2018, or whenever you did.' Many of her followers were shocked she went through with the creation of the account. '$1,000,000 worth of people who need they hard drives checked,' one person said, while another agreed, ' who bought it should be arrested.' A third said, 'Pls tell me this is a joke.' Others have been raising questions about her age as when Lil Tay rose to fame in 2018 she was supposedly 9 years old, which would make her about 16 in 2025. In 2023, she was involved in a death hoax where her social media accounts claimed that both she and her half brother had died. She later came out to say this was not true, but she was reported at the time to be 14 years old. OnlyFans has a strict 18 years and over policy for both content creators and followers. The platform asks for a person's address, government-issued identification card and bank account information as part of its age verification process. 'You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and access content on the OnlyFans platform as a Fan or as a Creator,' the website states. 'It is against our Terms of Service and our Acceptable Use Policy for anyone who is under 18 years old to view, access or post content on OnlyFans. We invest heavily in technology and human moderation teams to make sure this policy is followed. If anyone seeks to get around these policies and controls, OnlyFans will take appropriate action against them.'

Brad Pitt mourning death of his mother

Brad Pitt is mourning the loss of his mother, Jane Etta Pitt. She was 84. The actor's niece, Sydney Pitt, confirmed the news via Instagram today, sharing touching photos of the family matriarch. 'My sweet Grammy, Jane Etta, we were not ready for you to go yet but knowing you are finally free to sing, dance, and paint again makes it a tad easier,' she captioned the tribute. 'If you knew Grammy, you knew she had the biggest heart. She cared deeply for everyone and everything, no questions asked.' The Watering Souls founder continued, 'She taught me how to paint, how to be strong, how to lead with kindness, to love Jesus through everything, and to find joy in the smallest things. She made up the silliest games just to make us laugh, and she believed in fairness, in putting others first, and doing good simply because it was the right thing to do.' Sydney further reminisced about how every year before school, she would give the grandkids 'a special day' doing whatever they wanted to do. 'Mine usually started with banana splits for breakfast, hours of playing Trouble, a craft project obvi, riding every ride together at Silver Dollar City like the badass she was, dinner at Olive Garden with Papa, mini golf where she'd make a V with her feet to help me aim … (and somehow still beat me) and ending the night watching Paulie until we feel asleep,' she revealed. 'She could keep up with all 14 of us grandkids without missing a beat. There was no limit to the love she gave, and everyone who met her felt it.' Sydney then admitted that she doesn't know how to 'move forward without her,' adding, 'But I know she's still here in every brushstroke, every kind gesture, every hummingbird. She was love in its purest form.' 'We were truly blessed to have her to love on growing up and I know she lives on through each of us,' she concluded the tribute. Sources close to the family also confirmed the news with TMZ, telling the outlet that Jane passed away sometime this week. However, it's unclear when exactly. Pitt's reps declined to comment when Page Six reached out. Despite Pitt's fame, his mother maintained a fairly private life. However, she accompanied the actor to several red carpets through the years, including for the 2012 Academy Awards. Jane is survived by her husband, William Alvin Pitt, and her three kids, including the Fight Club actor, 61, as well as son Doug and daughter Julie.

Lindsay Lohan's sequel ‘mildly exhausting' Why sequel to Lindsay Lohan and Jamie Lee Curtis' cult movie Freaky Friday is ‘mildly exhausting'

With a belated Disney sequel, some quality homegrown horror and the return of a stone-cold comedy classic, it's a good week to head to the movies FREAKIER FRIDAY (PG) Director: Nisha Ganatra (Late Night) Starring: Lindsay Lohan, Jamie Lee Curtis, Julia Butters, Sophia Hammons *** As is the case every other month lately, it is back-to-the future time in the world of Disney. The latest dip into the famed studio's extensive catalogue of classic properties is Freakier Friday, a revival of a famous mother-daughter body-swap premise that first surfaced in the 1970s. The key reference point for this busy, fizzy sequel is the 2003 edition of Freaky Friday, in which Jamie Lee Curtis and Lindsay Lohan experienced an inter-family switcheroo in amusing and endearing style. The same coupling returns in pleasing enough fashion, with Curtis' Tess now a podcasting psychologist specialising in how to be a great grandmother. As for Lohan's Anna, these days she is a single mother who is still working in the music business like before, albeit as a producer instead of a performer. If you're assuming these two will be trading physical identities once again, you have got it all wrong. This time around, courtesy of a chance encounter with an incompetent psychic, Anna will be reversing roles with her rebellious teenage daughter Harper (Julia Butters). As for Tess, she is about to exchange bodies with another teenager, her step-granddaughter-to-be, Lily (Sophia Hammons). The presence of Lily in this complicated set-up requires a little explaining. Her father, a British chef named Eric (Manny Jacinto) is about to marry Anna after a whirlwind romance. Neither Lily nor Harper are looking forward to becoming part of a new family unit, as they are mortal enemies at high school. For such a simple movie, Freakier Friday has a lot of plotting for its audience to process, and not all of the storytelling enhances an increasingly convoluted experience. In fact, with two sets of body-swaps in play at any one time, most viewers will find themselves concentrating hard to keep track of who is who, and just as importantly, who isn't who. (Do the maths: one body-swap means two possible combinations of mother-daughter mayhem, while two body-swaps blows the total number of combos out to twelve!) Occasionally, this means Freakier Friday can present as mildly exhausting, when it really should be effortlessly entertaining. The saving graces, of course, are Curtis and Lohan, who both have serious skills when it comes to finding the funny in not having to act their age. Their younger co-stars Butters and Hammons also rise admirably to the challenges posed to them as performers, even though their brash, bratty characters prove difficult to warm to. Freakier Friday is in cinemas now. TOGETHER (MA15+) *** General release That time-honoured metaphor about couples sticking together no matter what gets put to a staggeringly literal test in Together. Most unsuspecting viewers won't see what's really in store for them here. And once they do gather what Together is really up to, there's no way they will ever truly unsee what happens next. Initially at least, the movie presents an authentic and amusing portrait of a long-term couple who have hit that point where both commitment and contentment are two very big issues. Millie and Tim (played by real-life partners Alison Brie and Dave Franco) still want each other, but are giving clear signals they may want different things from their relationship. All of this and more comes to a dramatic head one fateful night, where Millie and Tim must take sudden refuge from a torrential rainstorm. For reasons best not mentioned here, the pair's problems are manifested in a body-altering (or is that body-merging?) form that is increasingly confronting to witness. If you were tough enough to make it through The Substance, then you should be able to cope with the high-concept horrors Together intends to unleash. Just don't say you weren't warned. THIS IS SPINAL TAP (M) Selected cinemas Now rightly recognised as one of the great movie comedies of all time, this gut-bustingly funny rockumentary makes a welcome return to the big screen ahead of a much-anticipated sequel dropping next month. For those arriving late to the party, Spinal Tap is an ailing metal band who just won't call it a day, despite the ever-increasing selectivity of its appeal. Filmmaker Marty DiBergi (Rob Reiner) tracks brain-addled Brits David St Hubbins (Michael McKean), Nigel Tufnel (Christopher Guest), Derek Smalls (Harry Shearer) and their eclectic entourage as they try to complete the concert tour that will cement their position at the bottom of the charts. The layering of the jokes is dense, the behaviour captured on camera even denser, and the satire of heavy metal's heaviest excesses is on-the-money from beginning to end. Throw in an unexplained series of dead drummers, a microscopic stage re-creation of the Stonehenge monument, and a songbook pushing lyrics and melodies to their absolute limits, and the perfection is complete.
