On Friday, May 23, the "Piano Man" singer announced that he will be canceling all scheduled concerts following a recent diagnosis of normal pressure hydrocephalus (NPH).
This health condition has been made worse by recent concert performances, leading to problems with hearing, vision, and balance, per a statement obtained by PEOPLE that was then posted on his Instagram.
Joel, 76, is undergoing specific physical therapy under his doctor's instructions. He has also been "advised to refrain from performing during this recovery period."
Per the press release, the musician is "thankful for the excellent care he is receiving and is fully committed to prioritizing his health. He is grateful for the support from fans during this time and looks forward to the day when he can once again take the stage."

As for ticket refund information, fans won't need to take any action to receive their refund. It will be automatically processed back to the original form of payment used.
Canceled concert dates include his shows in New York City this summer along with performances in New Orleans, Toronto, Santa Clara, Salt Lake City, Washington, D.C. and Liverpool.
This cancellation comes months after Joel fell during a concert at Mohegan Sun in Connecticut in February. Per a fan video, at one point during the show, after spinning his microphone and tossing it towards the audience, Joel appeared to stumble, falling backwards and landing on his side.
Moments later, he seemed to recover from the fall and continued on with his show, which went as planned.
The following month, the "Big Shot" singer announced that he would postpone his concerts through June, citing a "medical condition" that required him to "undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors."
"Joel is expected to make a full recovery," his team said on March 11. "The tour will resume at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on July 5, 2025."
"While I regret postponing any shows, my health must come first," Joel posted on his Instagram at the time. "I look forward to getting back on stage and sharing the joy of live music with our amazing fans. Thank you for your understanding."
Throughout his career, Joel has won five Grammys and been nominated 23 times. He has sold more than 150 million records and has had 33 Top 40 hits. He was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1992 and the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 1999.
He played his final Madison Square Garden concert part of his record-breaking 10-year residency in July 2024, marking his 150th show at the venue.

Madeline Brewer on Rising Above Online Bullies: 'I Didn't Expect Them to Call Me Ugly Because I'm Not' (Exclusive)

Madeline Brewer opens up to PEOPLE about online criticism she received after starring in the final season of You The Handmaid's Tale actress says some comments from online trolls "triggered" her But she shares how she found the strength to rise above hurtful messagesOnline trolls may come with the territory of being an actor, but Madeline Brewer isn't letting it get her down. In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE, the actress, 33, opens up about the unexpected criticism she's received on her physical appearance after starring as Bronte aka Louise Flannery in the final season of You. When asked if she was surprised to see how she was received by the fan base, Brewer admits, "A little bit. I'll be honest, I didn't expect people to like Brontë, but I didn't expect them to call me ugly, because I'm not." "I get that I'm not everybody's cup of tea, but I'm not ugly," she says. "I had thought that the largest fan base of this show is women, young women, and I never anticipated the amount of misogyny to be fired at me." Brewer joined the final season of the cultural juggernaut, Netflix's You, as Bronte, the 'final girl' to serial killer Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley). As a "huge fan" of the show, she says she was "excited to be a part of that world." But she didn't anticipate the fans' reaction. "I think that when people are confronted with that misogyny and that deconstruction of their hero, it makes them upset," Brewer says of Joe's fate. "Especially pisses them off that it was a woman. It was a woman to do it. And it was also a new woman, and a woman that they might not find attractive." "So all of that to deal with, they can't help but get on their cell phones and comment on my pictures and go, 'Oh, you're so ugly. You look like a goblin,'" she continues. "And I'm like, 'Girl, lighten up. I'm not ugly.'" Brewer says she was bullied as a child, and comments suggesting she needed plastic surgery 'triggered' her. 'I feel very grateful that this didn't happen at an earlier time in my life. If this had happened when I was 25, I would have crumbled because I wasn't in therapy yet," she says. "Being in my 30s, I don't care. I knew I could handle it.' The Handmaid's Tale star is aware criticism is 'par for the course' of being an actor, and 'now I don't give a f---,' she says. 'As long as they're doing it to me and not somebody who can't handle it, bring it on." Brewer says when she needs some extra reassurance, she looks to her fiancé, cinematographer Jack Thompson-Roylance. "He just thinks the sun shines out of my butt, and he thinks that I'm the most beautiful woman in the whole world," she says with a smile. "He's actually the only opinion that really matters to me." The two are gearing up for a July wedding in England. As a 'perfectionist,' Brewer wants everything to go smoothly to pull off her vision of 'Bridgerton by day and Saltburn at night.' But she has no nerves when it comes to saying 'I do.' 'That's my dude,' she says. 'It's going to be fun.' You is streaming now on Netflix. Read the original article on People

JoJo Siwa confirms relationship with Chris Hughes: 'Absolutely head over heels'

JoJo Siwa is opening up about her relationship with TV personality Chris Hughes. The " Dance Moms" alum confirmed her relationship with Hughes during a recent interview with The Guardian, calling it a "beautiful connection." "It's not platonic anymore," Siwa said. "It's been a beautiful development." She added, "I'm absolutely head over heels for him and he's the same way." Hughes and Siwa's friendship began earlier this year on "Celebrity Big Brother UK," where they were both contestants. In the "Big Brother" house, Hughes stood up for Siwa after co-contestant Mickey Rourke grilled her about her sexuality. Siwa, who announced in 2021 that she was part of the LGBTQ+ community, told The Guardian that the interaction with Rourke "made me super upset," and that it was "really hard to take." But Siwa said that Hughes and others in the house supported her. While on the show, Siwa opened up further about her sexuality. "I've always told myself I'm a lesbian, and I think being here I've realized: 'Oh, I'm not a lesbian, I'm queer.' And I think that's really cool," she said at the time, according to People. Since "Celebrity Big Brother," Siwa and Hughes have shared several posts on social media about each other, fueling romance rumors. Last week, Siwa shared a series of photos from her birthday week, which featured a sweet photo of her and Hughes. Hughes also shared a carousel of loving photos of him and Siwa last month. "I won't ever speak for him, but for me personally, the happiness in my life just radiates off of me right now," Siwa said of Hughes, speaking to The Guardian this week. "Literally yesterday, I was massaging my cheeks; I've never [before] been in pain from smiling so much."

Dolly Parton Reveals What She Really Thought About Beyonce's ‘Completely Different' Cover of ‘Jolene'

Beyoncé reimagines Dolly Parton's iconic song "Jolene" on her 2024 Cowboy Carter album, transforming it from a plea into a powerful warning Dolly Parton praises Beyoncé's Cowboy Carter, calling the album 'really, really good' and expressing pride in the bold reinterpretation of her 1973 hit Parton appears twice on Cowboy Carter, including as a fictional radio DJ on the track "Dolly P" and in a cameo at the start of Beyoncé's song "Tyrant"Don't come for her man! Dolly Parton's 1973 hit, 'Jolene," has had Parton fans singing along for decades, but in 2024, Beyoncé put a modern spin on it. Beyoncé, 43, covered the song on her 2024 album Cowboy Carter, changing the tone and key lyrics of the song to serve as more of a warning instead of Parton's plea. For example, where Parton sings, 'I'm beggin' of you, please don't take my man,' Beyonce declares, 'I'm warning you, don't come for my man.' In an interview with PEOPLE tied to the release of her single-serve frozen meals with Conagra brands, Parton gushed about Beyoncé and her musical talent. 'I'm a huge fan of hers — I mean, who's not? Everybody loves her,' Parton said. 'I think she's a magnificent artist, beautiful and the dancing in addition to the singing.' Parton called Cowboy Carter a 'really, really good album,' one that features two cameos from the Country Music Hall of Famer. Parton is heard in the track "Dolly P," in which she plays a fake radio DJ queuing up the next set of songs. The "9 to 5" singer also contributed to the song "Tyrant," which is featured later on the record. The 10th track on the album is Beyoncé's fiery rendition of 'Jolene,' which Parton loved. 'I was just honored that she, of course, did a completely different take on 'Jolene' than than my version of it," Parton tells PEOPLE. "Hers was more like, 'Well, you're not getting him, you're not taking him, you're going to go through me to get him.' Mine was more like, 'Please don't take him!' So I loved her interpretation." She continued, 'As a writer, you like to hear how different people interpret your songs, and how they put their own spin and do their own take on it. But I was very proud of it, and I hope her tour does great, and I'm sure it will. People seem to be loving it.' Beyoncé is currently on the road for the Cowboy Carter Tour, which is set to conclude on July 26, in Paradise, Nev. Read the original article on People
