Brother of Oasis fan Lee Claydon who fell to death made tragic Facebook post before fatal fall
Aaron Claydon has started a Gofundme to raise money following his brother's shock death. A Facebook post from the brother of a tragic Oasis fan shows how their family's excitement turned to heartache. Beloved father Lee Claydon passed away after plummeting from the stands during one of the Manchester band's shows at London's Wembley Stadium. And his brother, Aaron Claydon, had posted on social media about their trip, ahead of their Saturday jaunt to see their musical heroes. Tagging his brother and other family members in the post, Aaron said, "today is gonna be the day", one of the lyrics from the Oasis smash-hit 'Wonderwall', The Mirror reported. Lee, 41, was pronounced dead at the scene at Wembley Stadium on Saturday having suffered 'injuries consistent with a fall'. Since the incident, Aaron set up a GoFundMe page in honour of his brother and to help with financial support for his family. In a touching tribute, Aaron said his brother was the person he 'always looked up to' and that their family has been 'turned upside down' by his death. The family including his partner Amanda is 'struggling to deal with this devastation and unexpected loss", Aaron said. Oasis fans worried over tickets amid rise in scam sales
Anxious Oasis fans are worried their tickets are fake amid a rise in scammers ahead of the band's sold-out shows in Edinburgh. The Gallagher brothers will make their highly anticipated return to Scotland when they kick off their three sold-out shows at Murrayfield on Friday. However, as the concert nears, fans with and without tickets are concerned about falling victim to scams. Some fans, like Skye, say there's still uncertainty about whether they'll actually get to see the band despite paying for a ticket. 'We didn't get tickets in the original ballot. Eventually, my kids clubbed together they managed to get us two tickets, but they did have to get them off one of the unofficial resale platforms, and we're still dubious,' she told STV News. She added that her tickets have come through, but she has concerns over whether they are legit. 'You hear about people not getting in with them, so we're trying to remain optimistic and positive.' Newlyweds Laura and Rachel opted for tickets halfway across the world, instead of risking getting scammed here. The couple tried to get tickets in the UK and America before they managed to secure them for the shows down under. 'We entered all the ballots for all the presales for the UK, tried on the day and were like 80,000 in the queue, and then we tried for America because that came out next, and we didn't get anywhere, and then we got presale access for Australia,' the couple said. 'We were planning to go anyway, to Australia this year, so it just kind of solidified our decision.' They added: 'It was probably the most difficult concert I've ever had to try and get a ticket for because you don't know if you're buying your tickets off those sites if you're actually even going to get your tickets.' Scammers are also finding new ways to gain customers' trust outside of ticket-selling sites. Kevin Robertson, chief technology officer at Acumen Cyber, said private groups on sites WhatsApp and Facebook are potentially the 'most dangerous' place for scams. He added: 'We've had reports of things like nursery groups and school groups, people gaining access to those or private neighbourhood groups, that kind of thing, so all of a sudden these people are in these groups and they've almost got an established level of trust already, how else would they get access to that group without being invited? So that's the problem, you need to really not trust anybody unless you know them very well.' Teddi Mellencamp breaks down in tears asking if cancer diagnosis was 'payback' for her affair
Former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Teddi Mellencamp finally broke her silence regarding the alleged affair with her horse trainer, Simon Schroeder. While appearing on Tuesday's episode of The Jamie Kern Lima Show podcast, the reality star, 44, opened up about the controversy that made headlines in late 2024. 'I've never talked about it at all, just because of the kids, and I've never wanted anybody to have a guarantee whether it happened or didn't happen,' Mellencamp explained. 'But what I can say is, did I do things that hurt other people? Yes.' As her eyes welled with tears, the mother-of-three reflected on how deeply the situation continues to affect her, without confirming or denying whether the cheating scandal occurred. 'To this day, does it still hurt my heart and I wonder if that's why I got cancer? Yes, like it was my payback,' she said, referencing her ongoing battle with stage 4 cancer after her melanoma spread to her brain and lungs. 'Nothing goes without payment,' she added. 'However long it was … it was all over the press, it was everywhere. You're trying to minimize everybody's pain. You end up maximizing it. Because now not only do you have yourself, you have your significant other, your kids, the other person's significant other, their kids.' Court records confirm that Schroeder's ex-wife, Karli Schroeder, filed for divorce on December 30, 2024, just months after rumors of an affair began circulating. The documents, obtained by People, cited irreconcilable differences and revealed that the couple had remarried on April 14, 2024, after annulling a prior marriage in February. They officially separated on September 22, 2024. The allegations involving Simon emerged while Mellencamp was also going through a difficult period in her personal life. She had filed for divorce from her husband of 13 years, Edwin Arroyave, on November 1, 2024, also citing irreconcilable differences. Then, in February 2025, Mellencamp publicly revealed her cancer diagnosis, pausing the divorce proceedings. Despite everything, Mellencamp and Arroyave have remained close and have a amicable co-parenting relationship. The former couple share three children: Slate, 12, Cruz, 10, and Dove, 5. 'I always knew he'd do the right thing by me,' she said during the podcast. 'If he wanted to, he could still be filing and finishing this divorce off right now. But… it was like, 'Yeah, of course. No, we'll wait. We'll wait until she's better, and then we'll figure it out.' When asked directly about her role in the scandal, Mellencamp didn't shy away from the wreckage left behind. 'So many people are hurt in the wreckage,' she said. 'But I can say this from knowing — the wreckage doesn't happen on its own. It never had happened to me,' she said. She acknowledged she was in a dark place mentally and physically during that period. 'I think I was so broken as a human being during that part of my life that I did things out of my better judgment,' she admitted. 'I was so sick.' Mellencamp revealed she had been experiencing 'severe and debilitating headaches' for months before doctors discovered tumors. 'I was looking for comfort anywhere I can get it. I felt so much pain. I felt so sick. I didn't go to the doctors. I just felt some certain kind of way,' she said. 'The pain was so much that I had gotten to the point of like, almost hating waking up in the morning, which I had never been that kind of person.' Still, she emphasized that illness doesn't excuse her choices. 'I wasn't myself, but I'm not going to blame my alleged actions on the fact that I was sick,' Mellencamp said. 'But I do think a bunch of things happened in my life all around the same time, and I had zero control of any of them. Like I just was running around like a chicken with my head cut off.'
