Helen Flanagan lands a huge new job after revealing she is selling her £1million family home while addressing 'broke' claims
The Coronation Street star, 34, will be spending the festive season at Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena - where she will play the evil stepmother in its pantomime.
Her casting was announced on the arena's Instagram account on Monday, where a picture of the actress was shared.
Helen donned her evil stepmother costume in the snap, wearing a sequin red and black gown featuring black feathered sleeves, and a gold and red diamante tiara.
A source told The Sun: 'Helen is the excited for panto season and can't wait to get into character, she's a brilliant actress and knows how to put on a show.
'She'll also be pocketing a pretty penny, celebrities and soap stars make good money doing panto and always look forward to it as some extra income.'
The arena captioned the post announcing the cast: 'CAST ANNOUNCEMENT ✨❄️.

The job comes after Helen revealed she is selling her £1million family home amid claims she is 'broke '.
Helen split from her footballer ex-fiance Scott Sinclair back in 2022, and they share three children - Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three - together.
Earlier this year, Helen told in court how she was 'struggling financially' before being banned from driving for six months after being caught speeding.
But Helen recently set the record straight about her finances as she shared the sad reason why she has decided to sell her eight-bedroom £1million Cheshire mansion.
Her casting was announced on the arena's Instagram account on Monday, where a picture of the actress was shared
'I'm not in a financial crisis. I'm moving because I really need a fresh start,' she told OK! Magazine.
'Scott surprised me with this house and it was always supposed to be our happy family home, and it wasn't that.
'I like to be light-hearted and I hate to sound depressing, but there is a sadness in this house.'
The former soap star admitted it had been 'a turbulent three years' and that she wanted to start fresh with her children.
Helen hopes to move to London eventually, but for now, they are planning to stay where they are to avoid disrupting her kids' education.
The soap star admitted that she will struggle to downsize from her lavish eight-bedroom house.
Speaking on The Declutter Hub podcast with Ingrid Jansen and Lesley Spellman, she insisted she was 'down to earth' but that moving would be hard.
I put loads of my savings into making it look really beautiful. It's eight bedrooms which is hard to keep on top of - it's a lot,' she shared.
'When we move I will struggle to downsize - I don't want to not sounds down to earth. Bu it will feel weird. It will be more manageable for me.'
Helen split from Scott after 13 years together and then moved on with construction worker Robbie, 45, but they split in May and she now wants to be single.

Groove Armada's Andy Cato says farming needs to be 'cool'
Andy Cato, DJ and one half of electronic music group Groove Armada, has told the BBC he is doing his best to make farming "cool" as he promotes regenerative practices as the tenant of a National Trust the farm on the Wiltshire-Oxfordshire border he said: "We need to live in a world where farming and food is cool and aspirational."Cato's style of farming involves trying to reverse biodiversity loss while still growing food and making it economically said it has not come without problems, calling over a decade of farming in France prior to the current farm a "humbling" experience. "There are a lot of days when I think I'm just going to play records on the beach in Ibiza, someone else can sort this out"What keeps me going is that we have a solution here to so many of the existing problems that we face - from health, to climate, to biodiversity. Once you've seen its potential, you can't really walk away from it," he farming aims to reintroduce microbes, nutrients and carbon back into the way of doing this includes planting different crops side by side and also sewing "cover" crops, which protect the soil between harvests to retain organic content. The star's journey into farming started when he was coming back from a gig and was handed a leaflet discussing the modern food going down a "rabbit hole" Cato took a big risk - selling his music publishing rights and bought a farm in France."Everything went completely wrong - a very humbling experience. {It was} a decade and a half long, often a quite painful journey of experimentation."It left an indelible mark not only on how hard farming is, but how lonely it is," he said adding that there are big decisions to made with just one opportunity a year to "set your course". Cato has now created a group of regenerative farmers called explained there is often a thought that "if you want more nature, you need less food", but does not see that this has to be case."We live in a world where it's a £7 pint and a £1 loaf - why are we valuing those things so differently?" Despite the challenges, Cato said: "There's no more fulfilling, exciting or intellectually challenging way to spend your time than combining nature and food production."That is after he has spent much of his life "standing on some of the worlds biggest stages and having a great time".
