Helen Flanagan left shaken up after 'aggressive' man launches verbal attack at her on London Tube

The former Corrie star explained the situation unfolded after she confronted the man for taking a photo of another woman on the tube without her consent. Helen Flanagan has revealed how she's been left feeling shaken up after a man launched a foul verbal attack at her on the London Underground. The mum-of-three said the situation unfolded after she confronted the man for allegedly taking a picture of another woman on the tube without her permission. Recalling the intense confrontation in a video posted to her social media, Helen said: 'I was on the tube and there was this man sat across from me, and there was this girl about my age sat across, and I noticed that the man took a picture of this woman on the tube. ‌ 'Anyway, I probably – it's a bit embarrassing for me to say this. And like, he just ignored her and pretended that he couldn't hear her. ‌ 'And then, eventually he was really aggressive, and like, told her to 'eff off' and 'shut the eff up', and oh my God it was awful.' Helen said she then intervened in to defend the woman but found herself being his next target, the Standard reports. She continued: 'So then obviously, like I'm a real like girl's girl and I just said, 'Don't effing speak to her like that. I saw you, you did take a picture of her. You're lying.' 'I should have said something but I actually felt a bit intimidated by the man, so I just thought, I felt like I couldn't say anything. ‌ 'Anyway the woman next to me was braver than me and she just said, 'Excuse me, did you take a picture of that woman? I just saw you take a picture of that woman.' 'He was really awful and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn't say much to him because I did feel really intimidated by him.' The man then turned on Helen and made a cruel joke about her appearance. ‌ She explained: 'He said to me – it was like the weirdest thing he could have said – 'You've got so much Botox in your forehead,' and I was sat there with an iced coffee, and he was like, 'I'm surprised you can even drink through a straw.'' Trying to brush off the experience, Helen added: 'To be fair, I am dead soft. I don't get in arguments with people. I was only sticking up for this girl because of course, I would always stick up for other women. 'I didn't know what to say – this sounds tight – but like, he deserves it. He wasn't the most attractive of men. 'I couldn't say anything to him, so I said, 'I feel sorry for you.' 'It's not nice as a woman where you actually feel intimidated. He was just an absolute idiot.'

Helen Flanagan intimidated by abusive man during 'awful' experience on Tube

Actress Helen Flanagan has shared a distressing encounter she had on the Tube, where she was subjected to a foul-mouthed rant by a man. The ex-Coronation Street actress was left shocked when he cruelly accused her of having too much Botox after she confronted him for harassing another woman on the underground. In a video posted on social media, Helen recounted the incident: "I was on the Tube and there was this man sat across from me, and there was this girl about my age, sat across, and I noticed that the man took a picture of this woman on the Tube." "Anyway, I probably - it's a bit embarrassing for me to say this. I should have said something but I actually felt a bit intimidated by the man, so I just thought, I felt like I couldn't say anything. Anyway the woman next to me was braver than me and she just said, 'Excuse me, did you take a picture of that woman? I just saw you take a picture of that woman.'" "And like, he just ignored her and pretended that he couldn't hear her. And then, eventually he was really aggressive, and like, told her to 'eff off' and 'shut the eff up', and oh my God it was awful." Helen then courageously intervened to defend the woman – but this led to her being verbally abused by the stranger herself. She continued: "So then obviously, like I'm a real like girls' girl and I just said, 'Don't effing speak to her like that. I saw you, you did take a picture of her. You're lying'." She continued: "He was really awful and I actually felt really intimidated, and I felt like I couldn't say much to him because I did feel really intimidated by him." "He said to me, it was like the weirdest thing he could have said, 'You've got so much Botox in your forehead', and I was sat there with an iced coffee, and he was like, 'I'm surprised you can even drink through a straw.'" The soap star laughed as she added: "To be fair, I am dead soft. I don't get in arguments with people. I was only sticking up for this girl because of course, I would always stick up for other women. "I didn't know what to say, this sounds tight but, like, he deserves it – he wasn't the most attractive of men. I couldn't say anything to him, so I said, 'I feel sorry for you'. It's not nice as a woman where you actually feel intimidated he was just an absolute idiot." The devoted mother of three then recounted a past incident that made her feel uneasy while using public transport. Shortly after the birth of her son Charlie, she felt as though a man was filming her while she breastfed on a train. Helen revealed that there were no witnesses to the incident, which prompted her to speak up about what she observed on the Tube this week. This follows Helen's recent social media outburst about losing her driving licence and various parenting challenges, five months after being disqualified for speeding. The former Coronation Street actress, who in January told the court that her ex-footballer boyfriend Robbie Talbot was behind the wheel of her £66,000 Audi Q7 when it was caught speeding twice, lamented the inconvenience of not having a car and being unable to run errands or shop for necessities due to her remote location. Despite arguing that she was financially struggling and couldn't afford taxis to take her children to school, Helen was banned from driving for six months. On her Instagram Stories, she explained that her ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) had led her to confuse paperwork needed to reapply for her licence, resulting in further delays. "I literally can't tell you what a pain in the a*** not having [my driving licence] because I live in the middle of nowhere, and of course I haven't been driving". She continued, "It's just been so b****y annoying, for example we are out of loo roll now and I can't pop out to the shops to get loo roll so my friend has to bring me loo roll". She also disclosed that she and her former partner Scott Sinclair, with whom she co-parents Matilda, nine, Delilah, six, and Charlie, three, have resumed 'co-parenting in the same house' despite their acrimonious separation.
