From driver behaviour and fuel efficiency to system health and performance benchmarks, the platform offers a unified operational view that helps fleet managers detect inefficiencies, enforce best practices, and optimize total cost of ownership, Force Motors said.
Available through the company's extensive dealership network of over 300 touchpoints, with field deployment and support facilitated by both Force Motors and Intangles' integrated service teams, the flagship offering under Project DigiForce, Force goes beyond a digital upgrade, representing a foundational shift in how vehicle performance, health, and operational behaviours are understood and managed, the company said.
The platform continuously ingests and interprets high-resolution vehicular data to power predictive insights, enabling early detection of performance degradation and preemptive identification of component failure, it said.
Live Events
"The platform brings in transparency, improves efficiency, and ensures safety across operations, thereby equipping our customers with complete control over their fleet operations. We are confident that this new initiative will be well appreciated by both our customers as well as our partners and help take us another step forward in delivering our promise of customer delight," said Prasan Firodia, Managing Director at Force Motors.
The company said the system performs root-cause analysis across key subsystems, including engine, powertrain, electrical and thermal systems, allowing for proactive interventions that prevent escalation and unplanned downtime. Its ability to distinguish between surface-level symptoms and systemic issues empowers fleet operators to act precisely, not reactively.
The company said it has also established a dedicated Intelligence Command Center at its Pune headquarters for
remote vehicle monitoring
, alert management, and expert-guided resolutions along with a 24/7 support infrastructure, for delivering timely assistance and issue resolution across India's dynamic fleet landscape.
"Our goal is to complement Force Motors' product strength with advanced diagnostics and predictive AI that enhance system-level visibility, improve maintenance planning, and enable more confident, data-backed decision-making across the vehicle lifecycle. Partnering with Force Motors is an opportunity to bring high-impact technology into the hands of operators who face real-world challenges every day," said Anup Patil, CEO of Intangles. PTI

IIFL scores big win over Palais Royale delay. Stranded homebuyers may take cues.
Mumbai: In a significant win for IIFL Finance Ltd, the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority (MahaRERA) has directed the developer of Mumbai's iconic Palais Royale project to pay the company interest for delayed possession of seven apartments. As per the order dated 4 August, directed to the project's current developer Honest Shelters Pvt. Ltd, the interest payable to IIFL is about ₹33.61 crore for one apartment alone. The total amount payable to IIFL under the order exceeds ₹100 crore, said a company executive. Mint could not independently confirm this. Honest Shelters and its advocates did not respond to Mint's queries. The Palais Royale project, which has been delayed for over 15 years, has changed many developers. IIFL, one of the lenders to the project, was given possession of eight flats in lieu of the unpaid dues by the developer. This was before Honest Shelters took charge of the project. Execution applications were filed for only seven apartments, and for the eighth flat an appeal is pending before the Maharashtra Real Estate Appellate Tribunal, the IIFL Finance executive said. Honest Shelters had failed to comply with MahaRERA's 16 January order directing it to hand over possession of the eight apartments to IIFL Finance with occupancy certificates and pay interest for the delay. The developer had argued that the MahaRERA adjudicating officer didn't have the power to enforce an earlier order, but the authority rejected this claim, saying the forum holds the power to execute such orders. 'This decisive action by MahaRERA sends a strong message to errant developers and reinforces that commitments to buyers and financiers must be honoured," said Binay Kumar Mishra, chief legal officer, IIFL Finance. 'IIFL will continue to take all legal steps necessary to protect its interests and ensure timely possession of the flats." MahaRERA's judgement could also set a precedent for interest payouts to well-heeled homebuyers at Palais Royale, strengthening their rights and holding large developers accountable for delays. Homebuyers in Palais Royale include the promoters of Metro Brands, Amit Rathi of the Anand Rathi wealth management group, and actor Sachiin Joshi. Multiple delays The Palais Royale project was taken over by Pune-based Honest Shelters in 2019 after the original builder, Shree Ram Urban Infrastructure Ltd, went bankrupt. Located in Mumbai's Worli area, Palais Royale, which received regulatory nod for construction in 2005, is India's tallest and most luxurious residential tower. But the project has faced one delay after another, and many buyers are still waiting for their homes. The latest missed deadline was in December, after two previous extensions during the covid years. Even under the original promoter, the project was delayed several years due to litigation with a non-profit organisation. On 4 August, MahaRERA's adjudicating officer Ashok Alaspurkar passed an order asking Honest Shelters to pay interest from 1 January 2014 to 16 January 2025. The authority had directed that the amount be paid in one payment within 60 days. It had also stated that if possession of the apartments was further delayed, the complainant could approach the court for an additional interest that would have to be paid from 17 January 2025 until the flat was handed over with the occupancy certificate. As per court documents, the interest has been calculated based on a property value of ₹29.48 crore. However, the property's value has appreciated multifold and is currently listed at ₹77 crore on a real estate listing website. The project has so far received occupancy clearance for 53 floors, as per reports.

Unseasonal rains impact up to 34% room AC makers' revenue in Jun quarter
Unseasonal rains and early monsoon arrival have impacted up to 34 per cent of the revenue of listed room-air-conditioner companies in the June quarter. Listed durable goods makers, including Voltas , Blue Star and Havells , have reported a 13-34 per cent decline in their housing room-air-conditioning (RAC) segment in the latest June quarter, creating short-term pressure on their topline and margins. The near-term environment remains challenging for the RAC segment, which is expected to be sized around 12.5 million units. However, companies are looking ahead to a demand revival during the upcoming festive season and expect to close FY26 with reasonable growth. Live Events "During the quarter, weather-related volatility had a significant bearing on temperature-sensitive categories, most notably the air conditioning category. The summer of 2025 arrived late and stayed mild, and ended abruptly, curtailing peak demand for air conditioners," Voltas said in its analysis of Q1 results. In the June quarter, Voltas' revenue from "unitary cooling products for comfort and commercial use", which comprises its RAC business, was down 24.57 per cent to Rs 2,867.86 crore. It was Rs 3,802.17 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding fiscal. Home-grown Havells also reported a decline of 34.4 per cent to Rs 1,261.85 crore in the revenue of its Lloyds' business in the June quarter. The revenue of Lloyds, which houses its residential air-conditioner business, was Rs 1,924.11 crore a year ago. Havells Chairman and Managing Director Anil Rai Gupta said the company has also witnessed a decline in fan and room cooler business due to intermittent rains. "So, that also saw a significant decline in sales, very similar to what we saw in the air conditioner business," he noted. Similarly, Blue Star revenue from its consumer-facing room AC business declined 13.3 per cent to Rs 1,499.37 crore in the June 2025 quarter. It was Rs 1,729.52 crore a year ago. "FY26 started on a softer note, driven primarily by unseasonal rains across the country, which resulted in a muted demand primarily for the Room Air-Conditioning segment," Blue Star said in the investors' update. According to Blue Star, the June quarter presented "unexpected headwinds" due to the early onset of monsoon across India, making this an unusually soft summer season. "The Room Air Conditioners business experienced unexpected headwinds due to the early onset of monsoon and an overall mild summer, resulting in subdued demand," it said. On the other hand, its commercial refrigeration business delivered strong growth during the quarter, driven by rising demand from the processed food and pharmaceutical sectors, reflecting a positive turnaround in key end-user industries, it said. According to Tata group firm Voltas, its trade partners had built up inventory in anticipation of strong demand, but softer secondary sales led to slower off-take and elevated stock levels, prompting a temporary adjustment in factory operations. To sustain market momentum, Voltas intensified its efforts to drive secondary sales through focused promotional activities, which placed some pressure on margins. Meanwhile, Blue Star said it will continue to invest in expanding its distribution footprint across the country and remain confident in its outlook for the rest of the year.
