Watch: Mohammed Siraj Does Ronaldo's Siu, Leaves Man United Players Laughing
Mohammed Siraj's iteration of Cristiano Ronaldo's famous Siu (or Sui, as some write it) landed at the fabled Old Trafford on Sunday. As the Indian cricket team met the English football club's players at the ground on the sidelines of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy, they swapped jerseys, shared tips, found common ground in pressures and tactics of the two sports, while also trying their hands at each other's roles.
Rishabh Pant was seen explaining to one player how to squat and keep wickets, and Siraj tried to hit a few penalties. He connected one as well — although the United 'keeper was kind to him — nailing it into the bottom left corner and immediately celebrated it with the Siu, jumping, twisting and landing with his hands crossed in front of his body. He did it again later in the video, this time more for the camera.
Watch it here:
Siraj has been one of the most charismatic players in the Indian team when it comes to celebrations. He adopted the Siu a few years ago and routinely does in across formats and competitions, proudly declaring that he was Ronaldo's fan. Doing it at a place where CR7 broke through and came back as a legend was special.
Meanwhile, spinner Kuldeep Yadav, who is a known Liverpool (United's historic rivals) fan, spoke with their head coach, Ruben Amorim, and even asked him about his tactics for the Red Devils this season.
'Ruben, I have been following him from Sporting and I asked him questions about the tactics, whether you going to stick with the 3-4-3 (formation) this season, and I had the chance to chat with (Mid-fielder) Casemiro about how I admire him as a player," Kuldeep said in the video
Kuldeep could be in line to play the fourth Test between India and England at the Old Trafford Cricket Ground, which is just around a kilometre away from United's stadium with the same name.

Gautam Gambhir's massive fight with Oval curator: ‘You don't tell us what we need to do'
The final Test of the India-England series just got spicier. Two days before the series deciding game, Indian coach Gautam Gambhir got in an argument with the Oval curator Lee Fortis. It is understood that the altercation was about the access of the playing area given to the Indian players. While there was no official reaction on the incident from either the Indian team or the Surrey Cricket County, the host, Gambhir seemed to be exchanging angry words with the curator who had allegedly questioned the presence of Indian players and coaches in a certain area of the ground. This comes after the Indian team fought with their backs to the wall against England and salvage a draw from the jaws of defeat at Old Trafford. That Test too had ended with words exchanged between England captain Ben Stokes and Indian batters like Ravindra Jadeja as the England captain tried to end the game early, apparently to 'protect his frontline bowlers'. On Tuesday, in scenes captured by India's travelling media contingent, Gambhir can be seen gesticulating and confronting the Oval chief curator Lee Fortis. In one clip, Gambhir can be heard pointing a finger at the curator and shouting 'You don't tell us what ne need to do'. India reached London on Monday and had their first training session on Tuesday. VIDEO | Indian team's head coach Gautam Gambhir was seen having verbal spat with chief curator Lee Fortis at The Oval Cricket Ground in London ahead of the last Test match of the series starting Thursday. After having drawn the fourth Test at Old Trafford, India have a chance… — Press Trust of India (@PTI_News) July 29, 2025 The fifth Test could decide the fate of the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy with England currently leading the series 2-1. If Shubman Gill's India manage to win the Oval Test, they could tie the series.

Saiyaara Box Office: Ahaan Panday and Aneet Padda starrer sings 10 million overseas
Saiyaara topped USD 10 million internationally yesterday on its eleventh day. It did so with another fantastic weekday hold, collecting USD 650K on its second Monday. That's a drop of less than 50 per cent from Sunday. While the summer period usually brings stronger weekday trends, this level of hold remains impressive even within that context. The United Kingdom showcased the strongest hold with a staggering GBP 125K on its second Monday. This is likely the biggest second Monday ever for an Indian film, though it would need verification, in case some film with a holiday may have done better. Regardless of that, the film is looking to speed past the GBP 2 million mark, which is a monumental figure achieved only by fifteen films in history. In fact, the way it is going, it would end up in the top five biggest, maybe even the top three. Other markets also saw robust holds. Australia put up AUD 85K yesterday, higher than its Monday last week. North America saw a sub-50 per cent drop from Sunday as well. The Territorial Breakdown for Saiyaara Overseas Box Office is as follows: Monday takeout has set Saiyaara for a USD 6.50 million second week, which will be around 20 per cent higher than its first week. The film will quite possibly cross the USD 15 million mark before the end of its third week and, with a conventional trend from there on, is looking at a finish somewhere in the high teens. Of course, the film could do better than that, much better. Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahani was released in the last week of July, where it grossed USD 4 million over the weekend, USD 725K on Monday and then went on to have unfathomable legs, grossing over USD 20 million. Saiyaara, in the last week of July, which is its second week, has so far performed at a similar level. If it could manage the late legs fraction of RARKPK, it could go over USD 20 million as well.

EXCLUSIVE: NOMAD picks favorite Indian food, opens up on musical inspiration and deep appreciation for fans
With the rising interest in K-pop across India, an increasing number of artists are finding their way to the subcontinent to interact with their admirers and build a greater fanbase. During the finale of the All India K-POP Contest 2025 earlier this month, boy group NOMAD sought their first-ever visit to the country and impressed the fans with their performance! Speaking to us in an exclusive chat just a day after landing in India, the group appeared thoroughly intrigued and interested in all that was going around. Speaking about the high-tensioned and high-pitched people around them, leader DOY shared, 'Firstly, Indian people around us are very energized and passionate so we felt welcomed by them right as we landed.' He added how the members had the opportunity to try out some amazing Indian food, which had them hooked. NOMAD's introduction to Indian cuisine Youngest member Junho spoke about their most anticipated dish, one that even Koreans are crazy about, which was Chicken Makhni (Butter Chicken) and Dal Makhni, the first authentic tastes of which exceeded their expectations. Other members chimed in with their own favorites, including Mango Lassi and Gulabjamun, which they said were right up their alley. The classic Indian Samosa had taken over their sense, making them term it as 'special'. Member ONE revealed how it was a country they hadn't visited before and therefore were able to experience it with a clean slate in their minds, and made them glad to have decided to come. Among the many places they'd like to visit, one of the seven wonders, the Taj Mahal, excited them the most. Talking about their experiences as musicians, DOY shared that the visit to Los Angeles remained as their top pick, owing to the fun and learning-filled time that they had while in the USA. RIVR, mostly quiet throughout so far, perked up on being asked about their fans and recalled how the support made him appreciate them more each time, and work hard to release good content. DOY mentioned how maintaining their thoughts of why the members first began their careers as K-pop stars has been the biggest driving force for the group's unity. Giving a shoutout to some of their most-cherished inspirations, the group dropped some big names, including Park Hyo Shin, as their reason to pursue music. Summing it up, the team added that wanting to make the world a better place to live and provide strength to their listeners via their music is the purpose of dreaming about the idol life. The members reminisced about their debut day of February 28, 2024, when their families and friends cheered for their future, in hopes of seeing the team grow further. Much like their name, NOMAD, they wish to set their unique identity in the musical scene and leave a mark with their actions, much like graffiti. The group continues to live with that thought while working to get better each day.
