Sydney Sweeney Reacts to Her Used Bathwater Going Viral

Originally appeared on E! Online Sydney Sweeney is soaping up the attention. The Anyone But You star recently made waves—literally—when she announced a partnership with Dr. Squatch for a limited-edition line of bar soaps that include an unusual, key ingredient: her actual bathwater. And in the time since, the collab has made quite the splash online. 'I think it's more fun to see everyone else talk about it,' Sydney admitted to E! News at the premiere of her new film Echo Valley on June 4, adding on how the product came to be, 'I pitched it.' (For more with Sydney, tune into E! News tonight, June 5 at 11 p.m.) After all, as Sydney pointed out in her announcement post, when she first partnered with Dr. Squatch back in December—in a commercial she filmed from a bathtub—fans couldn't get enough. 'You kept asking about my bathwater after the @drsquatch ad…' she captioned her May 30 post. 'So we kept it.' The end result? A teal-colored bar of soap called Sydney's Bathwater Bliss (available June 6). More from E! One such endeavor has been her new Apple TV+ film Echo Valley, where the Euphoria star plays daughter to as the two battle to keep a dark secret hidden. It was a project she said gave her 'so many reasons' to say yes. 'The character, Claire, is such a multi-layered, troubled young woman,' she explained. 'And being able to explore a character that has so many dimensional relationships with their mother, it's fun.' And working opposite such a powerhouse like Julianne, which Sydney described as 'such a dream,' was an added perk. 'She is beyond kind,' the Euphoria actress gushed. 'Like one of the kindest human beings I've ever met.' Echo Valley premieres on Apple TV+ June 13. Jana Kramer Says Husband Allan Russell's Comments About Forbidding Her from Doing Sex Scenes Were a 'Joke'

Jana Kramer addressed her husband Allan Russell's statements about not allowing her to perform an intimate scene while on an acting job 'There's a conversation with every [job] we take,' Kramer recently told E! News Kramer also criticized fans for "[ripping] him apart" for his comments about acting in intimate scenesJana Kramer is addressing the controversial statements her husband made about her filming intimate scenes. The One Tree Hill alum, 41, spoke about her husband Allan Russell's thoughts on her taking on acting roles that would require her to be intimate with someone else, in a recent interview with E! News published Friday, June 6. 'He was joking,' Kramer told the outlet of her husband. 'There's a conversation with every [job] we take. It's the same thing with his line of work.' 'I'm not going to do something that is wildly taking my clothes off for no reason,' the actress continued. 'If it is creatively gonna move the needle and it's important to me for the role, he is so supportive.' On the Dec. 8 episode of Kramer's iHeart podcast, Whine Down, she and Russell discussed a recent episode of Yellowstone, in which Wes Bentley and Dawn Olivieri's characters had a sex scene. Without hesitation, the former soccer player told his actress wife she could never take on a similar role. 'There's not part of me that will ever, ever, ever allow that, ever, for a man to be that close to you like that,' he said. 'Never.' 'What if Taylor Sheridan has me audition and I book a role where I have to have that scene?' Kramer responded, referring to Yellowstone's creator. 'Then I will go Tommy Lee on everyone,' Russell, 43, exclaimed. 'I will be phoning the producers and threatening the producers, 'You need to change that scene. Well, this for the good of your health, you need to change this scene.' ' 'No. I wouldn't let you do that scene. No,' he added. 'That's not good for a marriage, that type of role. It's not. Especially [as] a man who's not in the acting world, it's difficult, therefore that's my opinion based on, I'm not in that world. You can keep smiling and laughing if you want. But let's flip it. Let's flip it because we always do that.' Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. Speaking with E!, Kramer said that much of her success is owed to her husband. 'I do owe a lot of it to my husband,' she told the outlet. 'In the past I wouldn't have focused so much on the work because I was so worried about, 'OK, what woman is he cheating on me with?' I wasn't able to truly settle and be confident.' 'He's like, 'I'm your lucky charm.' I'm like, 'No, you are!' It's been great,' she added, noting that Russell makes her feel 'not only supported, but loved and like I can do my work.' Kramer also criticized fans for "[ripping] him apart" for his comments about acting in intimate scenes. 'That's what marriage is—it's a conversation. It's not like, 'No, you cannot do this.' I don't think that's healthy,' she finished. The actress and country music star tied the knot with the 44-year-old Scottish soccer player on July 13, 2024, during an intimate wedding at Carnell Estate in Scotland. The pair have a blended family with Kramer's daughter Jolie, 9, and son Jace, 6, Russell's teenager Troy, and Kramer and Russell's son Roman, 1 ½. is now available in the Apple App Store!
