2025 Arizona Cardinals UDFA profile: OL Josh Fryar What there is to know about Cardinals rookie free agent tackle Josh Fryar, out of Ohio State
The Arizona Cardinals, following the 2025 NFL draft, signed six rookie free agents who went undrafted. They round out the 90-man offseason roster and, at the end of this week, will get their first NFL experience with rookie minicamp.

We continue with Ohio State tackle Josh Fryar.
OL Josh Fryar college career
Fryar played five seasons for Ohio State, appearing in 54 games, starting 30. He was the Buckeyes' starting right tackle in 2023-2024. he was the only Ohio State offensive lineman to play in every game last season when the Buckeyes won the national championship.
He earned honorable mention all-Big Ten honors last season.
The Athletic's Dane Brugler ranked him the No. tackle in the 2025 draft.
OL Josh Fryar physical traits
Fryar was not invited to the NFL combine.
He is 6-foot-5 and 320 pounds with extremely long 34 5/8-inch arms.
At his pro day, he ran the 40 in 5.07 seconds. He posted a 4.75-second short shuttle and a 7.69-second three-cone. He posted a 34-inch vertical leap and a broad jump of 8-foot-11.
OL Josh Fryar blocking metrics
Fryar earned an overall 64.0 offensive grade from PFF and his blocking grade splits were 62.7 for run blocking and 62.9 for pass blocking.
He was credited for allowing one sack, three quarterback hits and 20 total pressures in 16 games in 2024. He was penalized four times all season, three times in the College Football Playoff. He played exclusively right tackle last season.

Los Angeles Rams edge rusher Jared Verse was asked in a recent interview with Whistle Sports which opposing NFL team has the best fan base. His answer was a surprise to many who closely observed the 2024 first-round pick during his rookie season. "Probably the Eagles," Verse replied. "I've got to give them that."
