Indiana Fever vs. Seattle Storm: TV channel, time, how to watch
The Fever improved to 16-12 on the season and 8-7 without Clark in the lineup after an 88-78 win over the Dallas Wings on Friday, which saw four of the Fever's four starters reach double-digits in scoring. Kelsey Mitchell led the way with 23 points and three assists, in addition to double-doubles from Aliyah Boston (12 points, 11 rebounds) and Natasha Howard (11 points, 16 rebounds).
Meanwhile, the Storm are coming off a 108-106 double-overtime loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on Friday. Nneka Ogwumike recorded a season-high 37 points and 12 rebounds in the loss. She became the sixth player in WNBA history to record 7,000 career points and the first to do so while shooting at least 50% from the field.

The Fever and Storm have faced each other one other time this season, with the Fever coming away with a 94-86 win at Climate Pledge Arena in Seattle on June 24. Boston scored a career-high 31 points in the win, while Mitchell added 26 points. Clark was held to six points, nine assists and three steals.
Skylar Diggins, who turned 35 on Saturday, had 22 points and six assists in the losing effort.

ESPN's Holly Rowe provides promising Caitlin Clark injury update
While Caitlin Clark missed her seventh straight contest during the Indiana Fever's road date at the Seattle Storm, ESPN reporter Holly Rowe provided an encouraging update on Clark's injury recovery. "Well, Stephanie White did give us a small update on Caitlin that she has started some full-court running, full-speed running the last four or five days. Still not doing full basketball activities, but there has been some progress made recently," Rowe reported. That's significant progress for Clark. Fever head coach Stephanie White also provided an update on Clark during her pregame media session. "Yeah, we have updates and her recovery's going well. It's just, I think for us, staying the course, and making sure that we're really diligent about each step that we take and that we don't have setbacks and that we're patient with it. "I know she wants to be out here on the floor and we want her out here on the floor, but making sure that she's ready is the most important thing. I still don't know how far we are. We're going to take it one step at a time, one day at a time and go from there,' White said. Last Sunday, Rowe shared an injury update on Indiana Fever star Caitlin Clark and provided a possible window for Clark to return. According to Rowe, Fever head coach Stephanie White had indicated that Clark didn't get enough practice and conditioning time with the team when she made her last return from a left groin injury. The Fever intended to be much more patient in this latest return from Clark's current right groin injury. With this injury return, the Fever want more of a ramp-up with more practice and conditioning time in mind. That led Rowe to suggest that later in August might make sense as a timeline for Clark's return from this right groin injury. Indiana has a four-day break during the third week of August, between the Fever's Aug. 17 road game against the Connecticut Sun and their Aug. 22 home game against the Minnesota Lynx. In 13 games played, Clark is averaging 16.5 points, 8.8 assists, 5 rebounds and 1.6 steals per game on 36.7% field goal shooting and 27.9% 3-point accuracy. The offense, which put up a dozen runs — and got 10 RBIs from the top four hitters in the lineup — on Saturday, produced just a pair of runs against lefty Carson Whisenhunt — and has been held to three or fewer runs in four of the past five games. Brewers place rookie phenom Jacob Misiorowski on injured list as rotation takes a hit
Rookie pitcher Jacob Misiorowski, a surprise addition to the National League All-Star team after just five big-league starts, was placed on the injured list Sunday by the Brewers. Misiorowski went on the 15-day IL with a left tibia contusion, retroactive to Thursday. The 23-year-old righty had been slated to pitch Sunday against the Nationals, but he was replaced by Triple-a call-up Logan Henderson. 'We noticed during the week — really, our pitching guys noticed during the week — that the throwing programs and the bullpen, something wasn't right,' Milwaukee manager Pat Murphy said Sunday. The hard-throwing Misiorowski went 4-1 with a 2.81 ERA over his first five outings and was controversially named as a replacement for the NL All-Star squad. He worked a scoreless inning in the Midsummer Classic, which finished in a 6-6 tie before a home run swing-off determined a winner. 'I mean, I'm competitive,' Misiorowski said. 'I want to play every game, so … it sucks. It's not fun to sit on the bench, but at the same time, I don't want to go out there and not have my best stuff [when I'm] trying to win for the team. So if the best is me sitting on the bench, then that's what we got to do. 'It was basically like, 'This is what it's going to be.' Obviously I was trying to fight it a little bit, trying to throw, but I understand. And you know they're looking out for me.'
