Rosé Gives 3 Cheers for Bra-Forward Fashion

Rosé Gives 3 Cheers for Bra-Forward Fashion

Vogue2 days ago
After a couple of days in New York City, Rosé has her summer uniform down to a science—and it all revolves around a black bra.
Last night, the Blackpink singer galavanted through the streets of Chelsea dressed in a gathered black cotton square-neck bra top with a delicate ruffle detail on the strap. She paired the bralette with a matching high-waisted pair of button-up boxers. She infused the sweet summery look with a masculine edge, thanks to a pair of baggy, low-slung jeans in a rugged stone wash, styled with a pair of chunky sneakers.

The previous day, Rosé opted for two looks that followed the same formula. Spotted strolling through SoHo during the day, she layered a dainty white lace top with an asymmetrical hem over a black triangle bra, which she paired with slouchy mid-rise blue jeans, a pair of surfer-dude-friendly flip-flops, thick cat-eye sunglasses, and a white quilted Chanel crossbody. She updated the look for night, swapping her white top for a black lacy camisole (which showed off the same black bralette), cinched with a slim oxblood belt.
If you're wondering how to incorporate your underwear into your summer style, look no further than Rosé, who just demonstrated three very viable options.

Jenna Ortega Goes All-In on Goth Glam

Jenna Ortega is giving the people what they want tonight in London. The occasion—the world premiere of Season 2 of Wednesday—obviously called for something special... special and dramatic. And Ortega came to serve. The star arrived at Central Hall, Westminster, in an Ashi Studio fall 2025 couture dress that looked like melted wax dripping down her body. It was giving goth girl, all grown up—as was her carefully considered glam. Ortega's hairstylist, Cesar Ramirez, created the look by adding long extensions into the actor's collarbone-length hair, and then using the L'Oreal AirLight Pro Hair Dryer to get everything poker-straight. From there, he smoothed in some Kérastase Gloss Absolu and pulled Ortega's locks back into a loose-and-low braid—a thoughtful but not overwrought nod to Wednesday's signature hairstyle. 'It's a bit alien, a bit goth, but still beauty. Dark beauty,' he explains. Makeup artist Melanie Iglesias shares that the bleached brows came from a project that Ortega is working on, but the team 'decided to keep them.' 'We wanted to create the right balance between an editorial look and a red carpet moment,' Iglesias says. That included monochromatic but natural-looking skin using the Barbara Sturm Glow Drops and Dior's Forever Skin Foundation, and intensely carved cheekbones achieved with the Laduora Lumeo, a device Iglesias describes as 'amazing.' Blush was purposefully skipped (a decision she calls 'a little goth, a little glam'), while the Dior Rouge Contour Lip Liner Pencil in shade 400 gave Ortega a darkly pretty lip.

Sofia Richie Grainge Swears By This $14 Lip Stain for Long-Lasting Color

Known for her minimal makeup hacks—and most recently, her chic take on this summer's French bob—Sofia Richie Grainge is now blessing us with a fresh wave of beauty inspiration. In her latest Vogue Beauty Secrets interview, the influencer dishes on her full routine—from her go-to Vanicream Cleansing Bar to the One/Size On Til Dawn Setting Spray she uses to top off her looks. Alongside splurge-worthy picks from Chanel and Lancôme, the 15-minute tutorial also features plenty of affordable favorites, including a $12 Maybelline mascara and Sacheu's TikTok-viral peel-off lip liner in shade Noohde. Grainge says she was influenced to try the popular K-Beauty lip stain after seeing Billie Eilish wear it on stage. 'I was at her concert, and my thought was: 'How did her lip stay on all night?!' Then when I saw her 'get ready with me' video, I was like purchase, genius, obsessed.' (FYI, Alix Earle and Doja Cat are also fans.) In the tutorial, Grainge uses the doefoot applicator to casually line her lips, then later peels off the deeply tinted film to reveal a natural-looking flush. For a glossy finish, she layers on Merit's Shade Slick Tinted Lip Oil in the sheer brown shade Mapleton. According to Sacheu, the wash of color is designed to last all day—no reapplication needed. It's also formulated with hyaluronic acid and vitamin E to keep lips hydrated. (For the best results, the brand recommends applying on clean, exfoliated lips and letting it set for up to 20 minutes.) In addition to Grainge's go-to nude hue, the lip liner comes in nine other gorgeous shades, including a vibrant red, pink, and deep brown.

Fox & Friends host calls for more Americans to spank their kids as panel talks gentle parenting tips

Fox & Friends host Lawrence Jones called on parents to 'spank your kid's a**' instead of being letting children go 'crazy' during a news segment on gentle parenting. On Wednesday, hosts Jones, Brian Kilmeade and Ainsley Earhardt played several TikTok clips showing parents who follow 'gentle parenting,' a trendy parenting style that focuses on respect, empathy, boundaries and understanding. One of the videos showed a mother calmly asking, 'Please don't hit me,' and 'gentle,' as her small child repeatedly smacked her in the face, while another showed an upset child being pulled into a hug by their mother. 'Am I allowed to comment on that?' Jones asks. 'Some of you need to spank your kid's a**. It's a problem.' 'Mama Jones didn't play it. My father didn't play it. And I just see all these kids going crazy in the grocery store, on the plane. And if the parents just would put them over their leg and just [spank], it would be over,' Jones said, smacking his hands together to mimic spanking a child. Earhardt was quick to respond: 'The problem is, it will be over for you as a parent if you do that in New York City. They would take our children.' 'You would have to do it in your house,' she added. Fox then cut to an interview with Dr. Leonard Sachs, a family physician, psychologist and author of The Collapse of Parenting. 'I think most gurus of gentle parenting would agree that it means that good parenting means letting kids decide. Well, that's a really bad idea, because parenting works when parents are in charge. And if you let kids decide, a lot of bad things happen,' Sachs said. Sachs used dinner time as an example, saying if parents were to let kids decide, most would choose 'pizza, french fries and ice cream.' 'And you're going to end up with a lot of fat kids,' Sachs said. 'In order for kids to be healthy and happy, parents need to be in charge.' Fox & Friends hosts then pointed out that there is a new parenting trend, 'FAFO' or 'eff around and find out,' there to replace gentle parenting. 'I love it,' Jones said. 'I'm gonna get a T-shirt that says that.' Solve the daily Crossword
