Three people have been arrested and stolen electronics recovered after the Wikwemikong Tribal Police Service (WTPS) executed two search warrants in connection with recent break-ins at a local school.
The warrants, carried out on Wednesday were part of an investigation into a series of break and enters at Wiikwemkoong Junior School. The thefts, which occurred in recent weeks, involved several computers and disrupted school operations.
At a residence on Hills Trail, officers recovered stolen computers linked to the incidents. A 42-year-old woman was arrested for breaching her release conditions, along with a 31-year-old man wanted for failing to comply with his release terms.
A second search on Wakegijig Avenue led to the arrest of a 32-year-old man, who is charged with possession of property obtained by crime, break-and-enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, theft, mischief, resisting a peace officer and two counts of failure to comply with a probation order.
The accused were all held pending bail hearings.

Authorities said they will continue to collaborate with school officials and community partners to enhance security for students and staff.
