Auburn Regional schedule released: Everything you need to know Your weekend plans are set! Here is a look at when you can watch the Auburn Tigers at the Auburn Regional.
Auburn baseball locked-in a national seed on Monday, claiming the No. 4 overall seed in the 2025 NCAA Baseball Tournament. Auburn will welcome NC State, Stetson, and Central Connecticut to Plainsman Park for the Auburn Regional beginning Friday afternoon.
Auburn head coach Butch Thompson is excited for his team's draw, and hopes that Auburn fans will be treated to great baseball this weekend at Plainsman Park.
'I think we have a very well-rounded field here,' Thompson said Monday of the Auburn Regional field. 'We've had some good fields here. I know our fans are going to get treated to another amazing field of good regional teams here at Plainsman Park. I'm excited about what it's going to feel like in this ballpark and these people being alongside this team as we start this postseason journey.'
Auburn's field is stacked with teams that won its respective conference championships in Stetson and Central Connecticut, and NC State, that finished the regular season two games away from winning the ACC. The winner of the Auburn Regional will face the winner of the Conway Regional, hosted by No. 13 seed Coastal Carolina. Every team playing in the Conway Regional ranks above No. 85 in the RPI, and will certainly pose a challenge to the winner of the Auburn Regional.

Sooners freshman catcher Corri Hicks enters the transfer portal

Sooners freshman catcher Corri Hicks enters the transfer portal The Oklahoma Sooners are in offseason mode after being eliminated from the 2025 Women's College World Series in their 3-2 loss to Texas Tech. The Sooners will regroup and retool to make another run in 2026, but they've already experienced their first transfer portal loss. True freshman catcher Corri Hicks entered the transfer portal on Tuesday evening. Hicks was considered the No. 12 player in the 2024 recruiting class and the No. 2 catcher. She played a limited role for the Sooners in 2025 but made an impact off the bench. In her lone season with the Sooners, Hicks hit .261 with three home runs, eight RBIs, five walks, and had an on-base+slugging percentage of 1.045. She went 2-for-4 in the NCAA Tournament with a home run against Boston and a base hit against Cal. Texas A&M will host the No. 1-ranked 2026 prospect in Iowa this week

Texas A&M's 2026 recruiting class is expected to continue growing this summer, heading into the 2025 season. As we've already witnessed under head coach Mike Elko, recruiting the entire country has not been an issue, with the team dominating the East and West Coasts, similar to former head coach Jimbo Fisher. This month, Texas A&M will host a wide range of elite 2026 prospects, which now includes four-star tight end Evan Jacobson out of Waukee, Iowa. Standing at 6'7" and 200 pounds, Jacobson is already an elite red zone target who thrives in the seam, possessing enough speed and twitch to outmaneuver smaller defenders. Playing in a run-heavy offense, which is very common in Iowa, Jacobson has been Waukee's most reliable receiving target throughout his starting career, thriving in the short game. At the same time, his size advantage has made him a sneaky deep threat. Like many tight end prospects, Jacobson will improve as a route runner once he enters a collegiate program. In Texas A&M OC Collin Klein's tight end-centric scheme, he could turn into one of the better SEC tight ends going into his second or third season. According to the man himself, Jacobson will head to College Station on Thursday, June 5, and spend the weekend with the Aggies for his first official visit. According to 247Sports, Evan Jacobson is currently positioned as the 175th-ranked prospect in the class, the 11th-ranked tight end, and the No. 1-ranked prospect in Iowa.
