Barbie icon Margot Robbie is in talks to star in Tim Burton's Attack Of The Fifty Foot Woman remake
The 35-year-old actress is being considered for the lead role in the 66-year-old filmmaker's upcoming movie for Warner Bros and she would also produce the film through her LuckyChap production company, according to The Insneider.
The original 1958 classic is a science-fiction horror story which follows a wealthy heiress who grows into a giant after an alien encounter and goes on to take revenge on her cheating husband.
It was revealed last year that Burton would direct and produce the remake, with Gone Girl author Gillian Flynn writing the script.
Andrew Mittman and Tommy Harper are also producing with Kai Dolbashian as executive producer.
However, Variety reports that Flynn exited the project due to other commitment after writing a first draft of the screenplay and the producing team is currently searching for a new writer.
Margot's involvement would depend on the final version of the script.
Meanwhile, Margot is set to produce the Ocean's prequel through her LuckyChap Entertainment banner and will also star in the movie alongside her Barbie cast mate Ryan Gosling.
While story details are unknown, it was reported the Ocean's prequel would be set in 1960's Europe and would feature Robbie and Gosling as the parents of Danny (George Clooney) and Debbie Ocean (Sandra Bullock).
Austin Powers filmmaker Jay Roach had initially been attached to direct the movie, but Twisters director Lee Isaac Chung is now helming the project.
The first Ocean's 11 was released in 1960, and starred five members of the Rat Pack - Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis Jr, Peter Lawford and Joey Bishop - as they tried to pull off the ultimate heist in Las Vegas.
In 2001, the franchise was rebooted by director Steven Soderbergh, and starred George Clooney, Julia Roberts, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt.
Ocean's Eleven follows the charismatic thief Danny Ocean (Clooney) as he assembles a team of specialists to pull off an audacious heist: robbing three of Las Vegas's biggest casinos in a single night.
As the elaborate plan unfolds, slick deception and personal stakes collide in a stylish game of risk and reward.
The film was followed by the sequels Ocean's Twelve in 2004 and Ocean's Thirteen in 2007.
Then in 2018, the series was continued with the all-female Ocean's 8, which starred Sandra Bullock, Cate Blanchett, Anne Hathaway, Rihanna and Helena Bonham Carter.
The news comes days after Margot spent the day drinking shots at Wayne Lineker's iconic O Beach club in Ibiza.
The self-confessed lover of partying - who previously professed her love for cheesy Clapham nightclub Infernos - jetted off to Ibiza last week.
Margot was spotted at the club by its co-owner Tony Truman's daughter Kiki, who he shares with EastEnders star Charlie Brooks.
Tony said the star ended up drinking shots with his daughter and the trio were seen beaming in a snap with Tony and Kiki while wearing a brown t-shirt wrap dress, with a red and gold patterned head scarf and aviator sunglasses.
'When your daughter casually introduces you to a Hollywood A lister @margotrobbieofficial and one of the most beautiful woman in the world on the @obeachibiza stage,' Tony wrote as he shared the snap.
'They both reacquainted there love of doing shots together. Kiki casually dropped that next time the two of them will be doing shots together will be when they celebrate doing a movie together.
'Let's hope so darling both very talented actresses who both love partying & Ibiza.'
O Beach co-owner Wayne Lineker, the brother of footballer Gary Lineker, reshared the snap to his Instagram Story, writing: 'Hahaha typical I'm not there for once [eye roll].'

Pregnant Pixie Lott reveals baby's due date as she prepares to jet off to Nashville to make new music just weeks before
PIXIE Lott has revealed the due date for her second baby. But weeks before she gives her son Bertie, 23 months, a sibling, the pop star will be jetting to Nashville to work on new music. 5 5 The Voice Kids favourite, 34, is seven months pregnant and performed an energetic, hit-packed set at Kendal Calling last weekend. Afterwards, she sat down for an exclusive chat with The Sun and revealed she'd been given the green light to keep performing for "as long as it feels good". She said: "I think the last gig [Flackstock, Aug 8] is going to be four weeks before the due date. So yeah, I think it's going to be fine. "I did it last time and I've checked with the doc and he said that it's fine to keep doing it as long as you feel good. So hopefully, I mean that last show, four weeks, I don't know how long... Woo! [laughs]." Family woman Pixie was joined at the festival in Lowther Deer Park, Cumbria, by her husband Oliver and son Bertie, both of who supported her from side of stage. After the set, Pixie settled straight back into mum mode, proudly introducing the youngster to new faces backstage. Bertie's presence on the road fills her with joy, even if parenting is more tiring than dancing and singing on the stage for an hour. "It's more tiring being pregnant, waking up early and running around after him than the shows," said Pixie. "Because with the shows I get like an adrenaline that takes over so I don't even think about it. The tiring bit is the running around after the toilet fight. "We've done so many festivals and he just comes along for the ride. He does like it and I'm pleased now he keeps his ear defenders on. Because at the start he just wants to take them off the whole time. And then you're like, 'oh you can't watch the show!'" Last year Pixie released her top 10 album Encino, featuring the single Somebody's Daughter, and the music hasn't stopped flowing since. Her personal new single, Coming of Age, got a great reception at Kendal Calling and will be released on August 21. She also recently wrote a 'heartfelt' Christmas song with a friend that she's hoping to perform live in the festive period. Pixie said: "It's very heartfelt, but honestly every song that I'm going to be putting out is just going to be about my state of life now, so like having a family, and we're expecting our second, we've moved house, and just like this state of life. "I think a lot of people are able to relate, hopefully, because we're all going through the same kind of changes, and I just want it to be as real as possible." She continued: "All I want to do is literally write songs of how I'm feeling at the moment, and put them out, and that feels really good for me because as a young artist I always had to wait a long time for things to come out. "I'm going to Nashville at the end of the month, and all the songs and stuff that I'm going to be creating, working with the people I'm going to work with, I just want to put them out, and not be held back." Having been in the industry for 18 years and accomplished everything from three number one singles to 1.6million in album sales and a prominent role on an ITV talent show, Pixie really has seen it all. She loves the independence her success has given her and is enjoying the new generation of female acts coming through from Lola Young to Skye Newman and Sienna Spiro. 5 5 "Obviously when you're a new artist it's really exciting," she said. "I've learnt so much that I didn't know before. I feel like I've been doing it all my life. But in terms of now, you know, deciding what music I want to do, who I'm going to work with, and having way more control in that side of things. "At the start you've got no clue, you're 18. So in a way it feels changed to be at the stage where I know what I want to do more clearly." While music is the priority, Pixie would welcome a return to TV on The Voice Kids, which ITV shelved in 2023 after seven series. She was one of the celebrity mentors alongside Danny Jones and Ronan Keating. In the last series to air, she was pregnant with Bertie. Now, she'd relish a chance to guide talented youngsters with the experience she's gained as a mum. Of a potential return, she said: "I absolutely loved doing it. We did seven seasons, and they said it's taking a rest, so I don't know when the rest is up. "I would love to [return]. The talent that they found on that show. Bertie was in my belly for the last season but he wasn't actually here. He would absolutely love it. We should definitely bring it back." And if the right offer came along, Pixie would be willing to consider opening the doors to her family life for a docuseries. She said: "I think if it was something that felt right, if it was about my own life and our world, alongside what we create in life with music or any profession. "I love watching those music documentaries that are on real stuff, great ones on BBC and ITV. I would like to, but depending on what it was, it has to feel right."

‘People see themselves in me': Frances Tiafoe on being a tennis trailbazer in a mainly white sport
Frances Tiafoe is in his element when he talks passionately about the growing presence of black and mixed heritage players at the highest levels of men's tennis. During a stroll on tournament grounds he reels off the names of players he competes with regularly on the tour. 'Now they're at a position where I have wars with them and go back and forth. So this is great, man. It's great to see,' he says. 'And then you have Giovanni [Mpetshi Perricard], you have Gaël [Monfils], who I looked up to.' Seconds after Tiafoe mentions his name, Monfils suddenly appears from around a corner as if magically summoned by the American's utterance. His arrival naturally leads to a pause in this interview as an excited Tiafoe greets Monfils by heaping praise on his new haircut, particularly focusing his attention on the Frenchman's sleek fade. Monfils responds with a compliment of his own: 'You're looking like a wedding day,' he says, laughing. This encounter perfectly encapsulates the dynamic between two different generations of black players in a sport where their success immediately marks them as trailblazers. Although they step on to the court with the sole intention of beating each other, there is also a deep understanding between them and they are extremely supportive. 'He texts me all the time,' says Tiafoe. 'He tells me, like: 'Yo, you can do this.' Don't get it twisted, when he plays he still wants to beat my ass and so do I, but it's just a lot of love.' Tiafoe, at No 14 in the rankings is the third-highest ranked US man behind Taylor Fritz, the world No 4, and Ben Shelton, who won the Toronto Masters 1000 on Thursday night, but in terms of name recognition the 27-year-old has become the most prominent US male tennis player in years. His matches attract NBA stars like Kevin Durant, he breaks bread with Taylor Swift and has earned a fan in Michelle Obama. In recent weeks Tiafoe has been name-dropped in songs from the rap duo Clipse and the rapper Wale. 'I still think he's the player on tour with the most clout, like every celebrity knows him, or he knows every celebrity. He's mentioned in two rap songs, so he's pretty iconic,' says Coco Gauff, laughing. Tiafoe, for his part, believes his burgeoning profile underlines the importance of tennis reaching beyond its traditional audience: 'Just to be able to be in a position where I get crossover, people want to be a part of things I'm doing in a predominantly white sport. They see themselves in me, in the sport, and they want to get behind me. Hopefully I'm able to get that done,' he says. There is also simply nobody like Tiafoe. His extroverted character and bluntness can be abrasive to some spectators, but he is kind, warm and has time for everyone. Laughter is never far from his lips, which makes his energy infectious. He has also deliberately made a point of using his platform to promote female athletes. When he is not playing, he is often at WNBA games and he wears player jerseys throughout the tennis season during practice. He is friends with many female basketball players. 'I think [female athletes] just need to get their flowers,' says Tiafoe. 'They put in the work, just like we do. They just need to be getting their love, their notoriety, their compensation. Let them smell their flowers. That's kind of what it is. And I think more women should support women, to be honest with you, because it's a beautiful thing. It's not just me showing up and supporting it. It's me showing up and watching a good product.' In addition to his support for women's sport, Tiafoe has also actively tried to help certain female tennis players follow in his path. His success has paved the way for others at the Junior Tennis Champions Center (JTCC), his childhood tennis club near Washington DC, particularly the WTA players Hailey Baptiste and Robin Montgomery. This year, while also working with Franklin Tiafoe, Frances's twin brother, Baptiste has enjoyed a breakout season, reaching the top 50. Both players cite Tiafoe as a mentor they have constantly sought advice from and he has tried to be on hand to help them in any way he can. He takes great pride in their success. 'I'm still young – I've still got a lot more to achieve. I still haven't scratched the surface of my career. But with them, I've already won in so many ways,' says Tiafoe. 'So it's kind of how you look at the glass, but it's amazing to be in that seat. It's a blessing.' Sign up to The Recap The best of our sports journalism from the past seven days and a heads-up on the weekend's action after newsletter promotion During tournaments, Tiafoe can sometimes be found training with other female players, which is still an unusual sight. He describes Jessica Pegula as his favourite training partner on the WTA: 'She hits the ball so pure and right in pocket every time,' he says. 'She's pretty relaxed as well. But she doesn't want to hit with me any more. She's made some finals now in some slams, 1000s, and she doesn't want to talk to me as much any more. She got too big time for me. She forgot about the little people.' Such is his jovial nature, Tiafoe is often the butt of jokes among his friends on the tour. They tease him for his questionable organisational skills, his lack of punctuality and his general unseriousness. His driving has also come under fire. Offered a platform to defend himself against his friends' scorn, Tiafoe smiles. 'I just recently got my license, so I was definitely shaky in the early days, probably when they were saying it,' says Tiafoe. 'But I'm definitely nice [at driving]. I'm definitely [Lewis] Hamilton 2.0 behind the wheel so I don't worry too much about it.' The story of Tiafoe's past has already been told countless times, but it can never be repeated enough. The son of Sierra Leonean parents who immigrated to the United States, Tiafoe spent much of his formative years at the JTCC, where his father worked as a janitor. He has defied almost impossible odds to establish himself as one of the best tennis players in the world. After reaching his second grand slam semi-final at the US Open last year, when he lost to Fritz in five sets in heartbreaking fashion, this year Tiafoe will attempt to rediscover the magic on courts that have regularly inspired his best. Regardless of what awaits him as he enters the prime years of his career, however, it is obvious that in many ways Tiafoe has already won. 'I'd tell guys from the [club] that I'd want to be a pro,' says Tiafoe. 'They would just clown and not take it seriously. I was always like: 'Don't worry, man. I'm going to be the last person laughing.' Here we are today.'

The Devil Wears Prada 2 is coming... and I've found exactly what Miranda Priestly is wearing
Daily Mail journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission - learn more 'By all means move at a glacial pace, you know how that thrills me,' is my favourite movie quote. It's from The Devil Wears Prada and is uttered by Miranda Priestly, editor-in-chief of the fictional Runway magazine, to her long-suffering assistant Andy Sachs. And now, 19 years after the release of the original, The Devil Wears Prada 2 is being filmed in New York. Fashion fans are being treated to a stream of paparazzi pics and social media reels posted by fans who seem to have endless hours on their hands to follow the cast and crew around and document every scene on their iPhones. Don't these people have jobs? Andy (played by Anne Hathaway) still looks stressed, Miranda (Meryl Streep) still looks terrifying, and although almost two decades have passed, time seems to have stood still for this pair. That said, I do want to have a moan about the constant spoiling of scenes from unreleased film and TV projects these days. When And Just Like That… started shooting its first series in New York, the wardrobe department told me they found it frustrating that the actors' costumes were being endlessly trashed before anything had been seen in context on TV. It's annoying that I already know what Hathaway and Streep wear in the movie a year ahead of its release date – ruining the big reveal – but as this knowledge is out there, I thought I'd share what I've learnt so far. Andy Sachs (below) is no longer dressing like a fashion victim who raided the Runway cupboard. She has developed her own cool-girl style, favouring labels like Toteme and Phoebe Philo, plus a vintage pinstripe suit by Jean Paul Gaultier. Miranda is less high fashion this time and instead opts for power dressing. She has been seen (below) in a pair of ruby-red slingback heels from Jacquemus, a beige, single-breasted Sa Su Phi coat, navy trousers, a ribbed white blouse with a Mark Cross clutch bag and Briony Raymond jewellery. Polished and still in charge is obviously Miranda's sequel look. I can't wait to see more on screen. @youmagazine IN THE JEANS The holy grail of denims? Levi's has just released this new low-rise, wide-legged pair – and they look pretty perfect to me. Jeans SHELL OUT The cool crowd are wearing beads and shells right now, and no one does summer holiday jewellery like Anni Lu. This necklace is from the Ocean Treasure collection. SPOTTED Rosie Huntington-Whiteley must take a lot of luggage on holidays. Attending her brother's wedding in Paris, then sailing in Italy with her family, the model is busy serving up some extremely glam attire. Here she is (right) wearing a Saint Laurent suit while at the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc on the French Riviera.
